1 SAME Honolulu Post 2016 Pacific Industry Forum and Scholarship Program Golf Tournament Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Honolulu Post will hold its annual Pacific Industry Forum and Scholarship Program Golf Tournament on May 10 and 11, Once again, the events will be open to all SAME sustaining and individual members as well as nonmembers. The two-day event kicks off on May 10, 2016 with the Scholarship Program Golf Tournament at the premier Kaneohe Klipper Golf Course at Marine Corps Base Hawaii. The events continue the following day, May 11, 2016 with the Pacific Industry Forum held at the Ala Moana Hotel. The forum and golf tournament proceeds will support SAME Honolulu Post s scholarship program, construction camps, and youth outreach programs for Hawaii students pursuing their education in engineering or architecture. The 2016 Pacific Industry Forum will bring SAME sustaining and individual members, nonmembers, and senior leaders from the Federal, State and County Governments for program briefings, a luncheon, and small business networking opportunities. Program briefings will be provided by the following government agencies: Federal USACE (Army), USAF (Air Force), NAVFAC (Navy), PACOM State of Hawaii and City & County of Honolulu BWS, DBED&T, and DLNR Small Business Workshop/Panel - SBA, Denny Watts, and other TBA speakers Technical Session - Honolulu Rail Update The 2016 Scholarship Program Golf Tournament offers excellent networking opportunities while providing friendly competition among firms and DoD/military members. A minimum of 72 teams is planned to hold a full-scale golf tournament.
