2 WELCOME, We offer various activities and events for the 55+ population in Moon Township and surrounding areas. Please drop in at a social, join us on a bus trip, attend an event or a class We look forward to meeting you. On the following pages you will find our programming schedule thru August. We truly hope you find many things that spark your interest. Your participation and satisfaction is our goal. We are located at Robin Hill Park and The Carriage House at Robin Hill. 949 Thorn Run Rd. 3 ABOUT OUR SOCIALS- Currently they operate every WEDNESDAY from 10am until 3pm. The socials take place at the Carriage House at Robin Hill. We offer a variety of activities, games, crafts etc. Also, a place to relax, read a magazine, chat with friends. This time is for you, we just ask that you enjoy yourself and know that you are always welcome. Drop in or stay all day. Coffee, snacks, some lunches are provided. Please check the social schedules which are available monthly at Robin Hill Center or the Carriage House. Our current social schedule for April is attached.

4 April Senior Connection Social Schedule Beginning April 5 th, the 55+ Socials will be every Wednesday from 10am until 3pm at the Carriage House at Robin Hill. Coffee, conversation, snacks, many activities to suite many interests. Drop in or stay all day. April 5 th - Moonwalkers Come & take a stroll with us. Wii Bowling, Free Pizza Lunch, Lottery Ticket Bingo, Darts, Mini manicures, Board games & card games. April 12 th - Stretch Class, Wii Bowling, Dye Easter Eggs to take home, Darts, Mini manicures. Friendly Family Feud Game, Board Games & card games. April 19 th - Moonwalkers Come & take a stroll with us. Wii Bowling, Movie Trivia Group Game with sweet prizes, Board Games & Card games. Calling all Home Chefs it s Foodie Wednesday today- A delicious lunch will be prepared by participants. Guaranteed fun! April 26 th - Wii Bowling, Darts, Bingo Ballroom Dance Class at 11am at Robin Hill Center Corn Hole games begin at 11:30 at Robin Hill Center On the Patio, Craft of Tissue Spring Flower Making. 5 What s happening in April? April 5 th - All day socials begin! 10am until 3pm at the Carriage House. April s schedule is attached. April 11 th - Senior Tai Chi & Chair Zumba Demo Class. 2pm to 3pm at Robin Hill Center. Drop in and enjoy this fun and senior friendly class. Instructed by a certified professional fitness instructor. April 18 th - Spring Bus Trip Join us for a fun day beginning with 10:30am departure from the Carriage House to. Our first stop is the Hofbrauhaus Restaurant at Pittsburgh South Side Works for a German fare lunch on your own. Then onto the Frick Art & Historical Center in Pittsburgh. There you will have the afternoon to visit their Art Museum, Vintage Car Museum, The Green House, The Grable Visitor Center and the Café. Departing the Frick at 4pm. Only $22.00 per person *MUST REGISTER BY APRIL / Departing the Carriage House at 10:30am. Returning arrival time approximately 4:30pm.

6 SCHEDULE FOR MAY Socials are every Wednesday 10am to 3pm at the Carriage House at Robin Hill. Fun activities abound. The social schedule for May will be available the last week of April. MAY 9 TH Mini-Masters Golf Tournament at RMU Sports Complex on Neville Island. 11am to 2 pm. ALL skill levels welcome. Enjoy 18 holes of miniature golf, a tee gift for participating, lunch, dessert and beverages. Prizes too! Only $18.00 per person. Get your foursome together; choose a team name and register by May 2 nd by calling Robin Hill Cent@412/ MAY 17 TH -FREE Outdoor Concert at the Gazebo at Robin Hill Gazebo Featuring- Les Bowes Steel Drums and Keyboards. At 12 NOON. A grilled hot dog lunch available for purchase. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy. Corn Hole throwing games too. (All of the above is Weather Permitting) MAY 23 RD -Spring Fling Event Dinner at Robin Hill Center 5pm to 7pm- $7.00 per person Includes: A delicious dinner, dessert and beverages. Party on Entertainment presents a Blast from the Past Music Bingo with prizes at the Robin Hill Center. PLEASE register by May /

7 WHAT S HAPPENING IN JUNE EVERY WEDNESDAY Socials at the Carriage House 10am to 3pm.Drop in for coffee and fun activities. June s Schedule available at Robin Hill Center the last week of May. JUNE 5 TH -Senior Connection weekly Golf Group Begins at Moon Golf Club. 10AM start-9 holes for our special rate of $22.00 per person with a cart or $13.00 per person w/o cart. PLEASE tell them you are with the Senior Connection. Drop in any Monday thru August 28 th and play. Restaurant onsite for coffee, breakfast and or lunch. Tell your friends! JUNE 12 TH -The Meadows and Milkshakes Bus Trip will depart The Carriage House at 10:30am and got to Sarri s Candies & Ice cream Parlor for sweet treats on your own. Then on to The Meadows Casino where you will receive a $25.00 slot play bonus and spend the afternoon. We will return at approximately 5pm. $30.00 per person PLEASE register by June 5 JUNE 21 st -FREE Outdoor Concert at the Robin Hill Gazebo Featuring-Brother Rick and The Doo Wop at 12 NOON-Grilled Hot Dog Lunch available for purchase. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy. Corn Hole throwing games too! JUNE 26 TH -Medicare Boot camp, FREE and informational. Begins at 10am at the Robin Hill Center. Come and get your Medicare questions answered by a professional Insurance expert. Can explain the guidelines, rules and general ins and outs of Medicare. Drop In and learn.

8 SCHEDULE FOR JULY Socials every Wednesday at the Carriage House 10am to 3pm.This month s schedule will be available the last week of June. JULY 14 TH -Pittsburgh Philharmonic Concert at Moon Park Amphitheatre. Also, burgers and beverages at the Rotary Grove in Moon Park prior to the concert. Enjoy this lovely evening for only $7.00 per person. Must register by July 7 th with Robin Hill 412/ JULY 19 TH - FREE Outdoor Concert at the Gazebo at Robin Hill featuring-rml Jazz at 12Noon. A grilled hot dog lunch available for purchase. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy. Corn hole throwing games too! (All of the above is weather permitting) JULY 25 TH -Summer Picnic at The Greater Pittsburgh Aquatic/Boat Club on Neville Island. 12 Noon until 3pm. *PIRATE THEMED FUN $5.00 per person Includes- beverages, snacks, lunch & dessert. 9 WHAT S HAPPENING IN AUGUST Socials every Wednesday at the Carriage House 10am to 3pm. August s schedule will be available the last week of July. AUGUST 7 TH -GRANDCHILDREN & ICE CREAM both make life sweeter Bring your grandchild and enjoy this ice cream sundae social by Kip s Ice Cream in Moon Twp. Beverages and entertainment too-$3.00 per person-this event will be held at the Robin Hill Center from 1pm to 3pm. PLEASE register by July 27 th with Robin Hill Center 412/ AUGUST 11 TH BUS TRIP- Gateway Clipper Luncheon Cruise will depart The Carriage House at 9:45am and go to the Station Square Dock for boarding our afternoon luncheon cruise with entertainment by Bo Wagner Let s Be Frank Frank Sinatra tribute. $55.00 per person. Two hours cruising our beautiful rivers and enjoying a wonderful show. Approximate arrival back at The Carriage House will be 3:30pm. MUST register by July 28 th at Robin Hill Center 412/ AUGUST 16 TH -FREE Outdoor Concert at the Robin Hill Gazebo Featuring- Steven Vance s Electric Guitar at 12 NOON. A grilled hot dog lunch will be available for purchase. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy. Corn hole throwing games too! AUGUST 24 TH -Medicare Boot Camp, FREE and informational. Begins at 10am at the Robin Hill Center. Come and get your Medicare questions answered by a professional insurance expert. Will explain the guidelines, rules and general ins and outs of Medicare. Drop in and learn. AUGUST 28 TH - Last day of the Senior Connection weekly Golf Group
