1 St Andrews Golf Camp and St Andrews Links Academy have teamed up to design a 10 night ELITE GOLF CAMP that has been put in place to benefit more serious golfers with a handicap of 10 or below. Our aim is to help develop you as a player and take the learning aspect of the game to the next level with more intensive personal coaching. As well as this we will be incorporating the physical aspect of golf with workouts sessions from Rob Wilson who is St Andrews Links, functional movement advisor. We will also be looking into the mental side of the game in more detail with Dr Paul McCarthy who is a trained sports psychologist and specializes in golf. He will be here to help with on and off course techniques to help you advance to the next level. New for 2018, our Elite campers will also have the opportunity to take part in the St Andrews Junior Open. Established in 1948, the St Andrews Junior Open has a long tradition of providing a high level of competition for aspiring young players giving them the opportunity to compete on Championship courses at St Andrews Links, including the Old Course 31st July - 10th August 2018 (10 nights) 7 night, no tournament option also available

2 ST ANDREWS GOLF CAMP is run and operated by Jamie Craig-Gentles, Marc Gentles, Graeme Dawson Jamie is the co founder of St Andrews Golf Camp and in charge of all sales and operations She qualified as a medical nurse and was able to use this to travel the world. Although she is well travelled and has a passion for other countries Jamie loves St Andrews and Scotland. She enjoys meeting new people and experiencing new foods and cultures. In recent years Jamie has worked in management over a variety of high-end hospitality settings including the Old Course Hotel. Now as a full tine mother to Luna who was born in 2016, Jamie can't wait for Luna to join the golf camps in future years! Marc, a former Scottish Internationalist plays off a handicap of +2 and has previously worked for St Andrews Links Trust who managed the seven links courses in St Andrews including The Old Course. Graeme, a former captain of the St Andrews University Golf Club first team, spent 12 years working at an award winning 5* resort in St Andrews in a variety of Sales & Marketing roles. He once played all 189 holes of St Andrews golf all in one day! When resident in St Andrews, the golf camps are joined by additional qualified individuals who will reside with the children whilst at John Burnet. This will ensure that the safety of all the children on our golf camps is never compromised.

3 JOHN BURNET HALL St Andrews Golf Camp is delighted to be working in partnership with St Andrews University to accommodate our Junior Golfers during John Burnet Hall was originally known as the Atholl Hotel; John Burnet became a residence in The two adjoining properties were later purchased by the university and attached to the main building. The annexe was built in 1994, during a hall refurbishment. John Burnet Hall is named after the classicist John Burnet, who was a Professor of Greek at the University from John Burnet Hall is located on the main road coming into St Andrews, it overlooks the 18th hole of the St Andrews Links Old Course and the North Sea and West Sands can be seen beyond that Communal areas include a computer room and library, TV room, laundry room, common room, known as the West Lounge, with a Table football table and Ping-Pong table. WiFi is available throughout the hall through the university's eduroam service

4 ST ANDREWS BOYS OPEN Monday 6 August to Thursday 9 August 2018: Eden Course and Old Course 18 hole qualifying scratch and handicap match play tournament for boys under 18 years of age on 1 January 2018 Established in 1948, the St Andrews Boys Open has a long tradition of providing a high level of competition for aspiring young players giving them the opportunity to compete on Championship courses at St Andrews Links, including the Old Course. The Merchants Cup was presented by the St Andrews Merchants Association to recognise the scratch winner of the 18-hole qualifying and match play competition. A previous winner in 2005 was Chris Wood, now a successful player on the European Tour and member of the 2016 Ryder Cup team. The Murray Mitchell Trophy, presented by a well renowned local golfing family, is awarded to the handicap winner of the 18- hole qualifying and match play competition. The 2018 tournament will take place from Monday 6 August Thursday 9 August (practice day Sunday 5 August) and forms part of our Elite Camp

5 ST ANDREWS JUNIOR LADIES OPEN Monday 6 to Thursday 9 August 2018: Strathtyrum Course, Eden Course and Old Course 18 hole qualifying scratch and handicap match play tournament for ladies under 23 years of age on 1 January 2018 with a handicap not exceeding 28 Established in 1989 to complement the Boys Open and to recognise the increasing level of interest in competitive golf for junior ladies, the ladies compete on the Strathtyrum Course and the Eden Course with the semi finals (scratch only) and finals played over the Old Course. The scratch winner of the 18-hole qualifying and match play competition is awarded the Golf Monthly Trophy and the handicap winner is presented with the Girls Open Quaich. The 2018 tournament will take place from Monday 6 Thursday 9 August (practice day Sunday 5 August) over the St Andrews Links Courses and forms part of our Elite Camp PLEASE NOTE: A maximum of 8 Junior Girls places are available
