We need your help in our 38th Annual Florida Junior Golf Wine Tasting, Gourmet Dinner & Auction. This event is a fund raising effort that benefits Lake County Junior Golf, Inc., a 501(c) 3 charitable organization. Our event is Saturday, June 16, 2018 beginning at 5:30 p.m. in La Hacienda Restaurant, and moving into Mission Inn s Grand Ballroom at 7:00 p.m. Lake County Junior Golf, Inc. offers golf, tennis, health & fitness summer programs every year for free to over 200 juniors in Lake County. Your generous support will enable boys and girls, from ages 5 through 18, the opportunity to learn the valuable games of golf and tennis, while encouraging an active lifestyle and learning lessons of sportsmanship, discipline and etiquette. We teach and help youth in our community to learn invaluable lifelong lessons through sport. In 2014, we started the Little Hitters golf program for ages 5 through 8, which quickly became very popular. Our summer clinics and tournaments continue to grow, in great part due to your assistance. We are asking you, our members and friends, to donate such items as hotel stays, dinners, rounds of golf, equipment and apparel, arts and crafts, gift items, jewelry, wine, gift certificates and more. Why not make it a weekend? Mission Inn is extending the special guest room rate of $50, per room, per night, plus tax for Friday, June 15 and Sunday, June 17. Your generous support will enable over 300 boys and girls ages 5 to 18 the opportunity to learn the valuable game of golf as well as life-long lessons such as discipline, etiquette, sportsmanship and more. Proceeds from this event will benefit juniors with free junior golf clinics and tournaments throughout the summer. The program doesn t stop there. We ve also expanded to include junior tennis and get healthy and fit programs. Our Little Hitters golf (ages 5-8 depending on experience) was a very popular addition to our program as well as the Lake County Junior Golf Tournament.
