3 welcome from the General Manager On behalf of all staff, welcome to 2017 golf season! Whether you are a first time member, returning member or just looking looking to stay informed within our club, I am happy to present you with our yearly Member Information Package. Some things to note for 2017, we are operating a new online booking system and point-of-sale system this year. We hope you find the transition smooth, this system is superior to our old one and will provide added benefits such as online tournament bookings and membership purchasing. Mulligans is open at 11am Monday-Saturday and at 7am on Sundays for brunch. In 2016, we used our new website to share information and updates, 2017 will be no different though we will be issuing weekly e-blasts with reminders and news as it becomes available. So make sure you re on our list of subscribers. There is also a schedule on the homepage of our website listing club events and we hope you find that convenient. Social media continues to be a good outlet to communicate as well so if you have it, be sure to follow. As always, if there are any questions don t hesitate to reach out. 4 Leagues Monday Night League - Operated by our two Mike s, Rutter and Butler, the League runs Monday afternoons/evenings from roughly first week in June to September, playoffs follow. This 9-hole competition is handicapped and is a best ball competition that takes the final 9-hole score for the team and matches is against the opponents. Early times start around 3pm and late times around 4:30. Fearing missing a week or two? No problem, there s a short list of players that may be available to step in. The cost is $35 for the season. Tuesday Ladies League and Fun Play Tuesday nights mark a great evening for ladies to get out, socialize and play some golf! If you are interested in some light spirited competition, join the league. The fun grouping is exactly that and was created for those that may intentionally forget their scorecard in the Pro Shop from time-to-time. A delicious dinner is available after play at 7pm by Chef Owen and the cost is $18. Wednesday Men s Night There s a variety of different, fun formats sure to grab your attention and spice up your usual way of approaching the game. If you do stay for one of our Chef s delicious meals after golf the cost is $20 and even enters you into a pool for some prizing. There are opportunities for corporate sponsorship and guest play each week as well. Be sure to ask our Pro Shop for more details. Tee times start in the early afternoon but if you wanted to come later and play nine before dinner you are welcome. Match Play There are three different match play opportunities during the season; Men s, Ladies and Mixed. Another great way to get involved with some light competition without sacrificing any camaraderie. There are handicaps involved but not in every division and sign up must happen by June 1st to get in. Brackets will placed online and in each locker room and it is the responsibility of the players to update locker room brackets. Cost for each category are the same at $20 per person.

Members can hop on it at any time by pro-rating payments. Online booking Access our provider Chronogolf through the club s website. View the tee sheet and pick your playing partners from our roster within. Access Chronogolf using your . Contact the office with any issues. Free Banquet Rentals subject to hall availability and the party must have at least 40 attendees. Handicapping, is available through our new provider Chronogolf our by request with Golf NB and Golf Canada Green fee discounts of 20% on North Shore courses including; Gowan Brae, Pokemouche and Restigouche Bag storage cost is $92 and the cost of push cart storage is $150. With bag storage comes the complimentary use of a club owned push cart. Lockers cost for men are $46 for full and $36 for half. Ladies lockers are $35. Locker location and number are on a first come first serve basis.

6 Member benefits, prices and services Golf lessons are $50, semi-private lessons (2 people) are $40 each, clinics are offered throughout the season beginning in the spring with our Get Golf Ready clinics followed by a couple midsummer clinics focused on different aspect of the game. Custom clinics based on demand can be arranged with the Professional staff upon request. Professional Bios Ryan Tracy is a Class A member of the PGA of Canada and has been teaching at some of the best courses in the country for 15 seasons. Ryan does not believe in one teaching style and works hard to create an enjoyable experience for beginner, intermediate and advanced level players. On course coaching is important and many lessons are taught on the golf course instead of just at the driving range, putting green or short game area within Miramichi Golf & Country Club. Travis Young is our newest PGA of Canada Professional. After completing his diploma at Holland College in Prince Edward Island, Travis worked in Moncton for five years at Mountain Woods followed by Lakeside where he operated his own Teaching Academy; which saw many lessons including Ladies and Junior Clinics along with many group lessons. He is also known as an equipment guru with a vast understanding of the golf club and its components. For the second year in a row, Mulligans will be open every day. We will have spring, summer and fall menus and are excited about new Chef s Garden on property. We re happy to offer a 10% discount on all food items for members. Our Mulligans Committee is currently looking for ways to enhance entertainment including acoustics and space within our historic pub.
