2 The Congressional Award Foundation s Golf Classic Representative Marc Veasey (TX33) lines up his putt at the 2015 Golf Classic. EVENT OVERVIEW On Monday, October 2, 2017, The Congressional Award Foundation will hold its Twenty-Third Annual Congressional Award Golf Classic. This event brings together current and former Members of Congress, as well as prominent guests such as professional athletes, business, and civic leaders. This year we ll be teeing-off at the beautiful TPC Potomac Golf Course at Avenel Farm, in Potomac, Maryland. Recently redesigned by golf s most elite architects, the course is among those of the PGA Tour s acclaimed TPC Network of clubs. Proceeds from this event will benefit the youth and development of our program the only charity of the U.S. Congress. THE CONGRESSIONAL AWARD FOUNDATION The primary goal of The Congressional Award Foundation is to promote and recognize initiative, service, and achievement in America s youth. We strive to help young people realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. Young people register for The Congressional Award and set personally challenging goals in four program areas Voluntary Public Service, Personal Development, Physical Fitness, and Expedition/Exploration. These diverse areas encourage young people to discover new talents, learn about the world around them, and to take positive action in their communities. The beauty of The Congressional Award is that all young people, regardless of their situation, can qualify for an award. The program has no minimum grade point average requirements. It accommodates youth with special needs or disabilities, and is completely noncompetitive.

3 TITLE SPONSOR (COMMITTED) $50,000 The Title Sponsor will be allotted six (6) playing slots or two threesomes for its officials and its guests. Each threesome will be paired with a VIP guest for the tournament and the Title Sponsor gets first choice in selections. The Title Sponsor s corporate logo placed exclusively as sponsor on the official golf shirt, which will be distributed to congressional players in advance of the tournament to wear at the event. The Title Sponsor s corporate logo placed prominently on the official tournament bag (non-exclusive, most prominent placement). Corporate signage placed exclusively at four (4) holes on the course. Two (2) corporate banners will be hung in the most conspicuous locations; visible for all tournament participants. A Title Sponsor official will be given a very visible role at the tournament, including remarks at the start of the tournament and the awards reception. The Title Sponsor will receive recognition of its sponsorship in all event publications, press releases, etc., including recognition as Title Sponsor on our website.
