On weekdays other than Monday, a member may sponsor a total of seven guests without prior arrangement and may have a total of fifteen guests with prior approval of the golf pro. The pro, at his/her sole discretion, may not approve the guests if the requested date and hour will materially affect the use of the course and the availability of golf carts for other members. More than fifteen guests is defined as a golf outing and as such will be restricted to playing on non-holiday Mondays. A request to sponsor a golf outing must be submitted in writing to the board of directors, setting forth the expected number of golfers and any

4 food and beverage service requested. Payment for all outing expenses is due within 24 hours of the event. Please refer to the LFCC Golf Outing Policy for further information. A House Guest is an out-of-town guest staying overnight at the home of a member. House guests may have full use of the Club facilities after payment of a nonrefundable weekly fee. The golf hop shall have the discretion to allow guest play in circumstances where the above rules might otherwise disallow such play. Hand Carts and Electric Golf Carts Electric carts should be operated on the cart path. Follow the daily cart restrictions as posted near the golf shop: Cart path only, 90 degrees, and spread. Electric carts should never be operating in areas designated as No Carts. Vary driving and pulling patterns to minimize turf damage and to maintain the best appearance and playing condition of the golf course. Carts should never be operated or parked within 30 feet of the green or anywhere between the green and the surrounding traps. To speed up play, park your cart on the far side of the green or on line to the next tee. Members are liable for accidents and any damage caused by the operation of their cart and should check their insurance coverage. Electric Golf Carts Occupancy is limited to two persons and normally two golf bags. A third bag may be authorized by the golf shop with payment of an additional fee. Unless safety demands otherwise, carts should be operated at full throttle as slow operation damages the batteries. Always park the cart with the brake on and out of the line of play. After heavy rains, when frost conditions exist, or when carts could cause damage to the course, cart use will be restricted. Check the sign posted near the golf shop for the status of any restrictions. Cart operators must be 16 years of age or older and possess a valid driver s license. Privately Owned Golf Carts Members may apply to operate a privately-owned golf cart by submitting the application form and paying the applicable cart fee. Approval is generally limited to those who have direct access to the golf course without crossing others privately-owned property. Operation is authorized for the purpose of playing golf, travel between residences, and to and from the Clubhouse. Joy riding on the course is not permitted. Privately owned carts may not be loaned, rented or operated by anyone other than the owner and his/her family, except when made available to the Club for special functions and outings. The cart owner is personally liable for damage caused by his/her cart and proof of insurance is required. Carts may not be stored on Club property. Dress Code All members, their children and guests are required to follow the dress code policy when using the golf course. Male golfers must wear collared shirts (mocks are acceptable). Female golfers may wear collared or noncollared shirts. Shoes must be worn at all times. Players should wear spikeless or soft-spike golf shoes, tennis shoes, or other soft-soled shoes that have been approved by the golf shop. Shorts must be walking length and acceptable golf shorts (Gym or workout shorts not permitted). Hats and visors must be worn brim forward. Cut-off shorts, muscle shirts, tee shirts, swim attire, including cover-ups, tank tops, halter tops, racer-back exercise tops and bare midriffs are not permitted. Denim is permitted before April 15 th and after October 15 th. Please see the Tasteful Casual Attire policy for guidelines on acceptable denim. THE POOL The pool is generally open from May 1 st through September 30 th. Daily pool and life guard hours will vary depending on the weather and time of year. The pool may close if weather is threatening, if thunder or lighting is present, or if the temperature is not predicted to reach 70 degrees during the day. The following policies have been established to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all members and will be strictly enforced. Members and guests who do not comply may be suspended from the pool for the rest of the season at the sole discretion of the General Manager. Parents must supervise their children. Lifeguards are on duty to ensure pool safety and enforce pool rules. When lifeguards are on duty, children under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult or an approved caregiver. When no lifeguards are on duty, children

5 under age 14 must be accompanied by an adult or an approved caregiver. A caregiver must be 14 years of age or older and must be given express authority by the parent or guardian to supervise, manage and control the child, whether a member or a guest, at all times while the child is at the pool and/or Stingrays. Parents who utilize a caregiver must provide written notice to the General Manager, including the name and address of the caregiver. Non-member caregivers who are properly registered will not be charged a guest fee. Children who use the slide or diving board must be able to swim without assistance. Do not hang from the basketball hoop or sit or hang on the rope. Do not jump from the guard chairs. The lifeguards and pool manager have the authority to suspend swimmers from the pool for the remainder of the day for improper behavior of any kind, including roughness, rowdiness, running, shoving, etc. Do not enter the pool area when the pool is closed. Members who swim when the pool is closed may lose pool privileges. Food and beverages from outside the club may not be brought onto club property. No glass of any kind is permitted on the pool deck or in Stingrays. Do not reserve chairs, or leave towels and other belongings on unoccupied lounge chairs for more than 30 minutes. Lounge chairs left unoccupied for 30 minutes or more may be offered to other members. On busy days, at the manager s discretion, children under age 14 may not occupy a lounge chair on the pool deck. Parents may be asked to remove children s towels from chairs to accommodate adult members. Generally, reservations are not accepted at Stingrays or on the pool deck. Private parties must be approved in advance by the General Manager. Pool Guests Guest policies will be strictly enforced. Guest fees are $5 per guest for Equity members and $10 per guest for all other membership classifications. All members and their guests must sign the registration book or register with the pool guards. Members must provide their name, membership number, the names of any guests, and signify whether they are in-town or out-of-town guests. In-town guests are limited to 5 visits per year. This includes family members. There is no limit and no charge for the grandchildren of Equity members. All other grandchildren will be charged the $10 guest fee. Dining members may not use the pool or Stingrays unless accompanied at all times by a non-dining member. Dining members who are guests at the pool must pay the $10 guest fee. Additional guest policies and restrictions may be established from time to time by the Board of Directors. TENNIS The tennis courts will generally be open every day from 7:00 a.m. until dusk during the tennis season. Operating hours may vary due to weather and other conditions. Tennis reservations may be made through the tennis hut. Players with reservations have priority over those without reservations. Reservations may be made on the day of, or one day before play, for periods of one hour for singles and one-half hour for doubles. Juniors may reserve courts not earlier than two hours in advance of play. Juniors may play with a parent any time the courts are available and without a parent at such other times as the courts are available. Appropriate tennis attire and smooth soled shoes are required for everyone within the tennis fence. Shirts must be worn at all times. Food and drinks are not permitted within the tennis fence. Guest fees and playing restrictions will be established by the Board of Directors. Members are responsible for registering their guests and paying any fees. BYLAWS In addition to the House and Grounds Rules, all members, regardless of membership classification, are subject to the bylaws of Lincolnshire Fields Country Club. The bylaws govern membership classification, board and committee structures, and the privileges and voting rights of Club members. In addition, the bylaws prescribe how the Club s finances must be managed, how assessments and dues may be levied, when and in what form meetings must be held, the remedies for arrearages and misconduct and procedures for transferring or cancelling membership. A copy of the bylaws is available upon request.

6 OTHER POLICIES Alcoholic Beverages No person under age 21 or anyone who appears intoxicated will be served alcoholic beverages. All beverages consumed on Club premises must be purchased from the Club, unless approved by the General Manager. Charge Tickets Members are responsible for verifying the accuracy of their charges, verifying their member number and signing their tickets.
