At Cordova Bay we strive to exceed the expectations of our guests and to provide the quality and service they deserve. Cordova Bay Golf Course was designed by well known architect Bill Robinson and built by Willie Hall. The course opened in Situated on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, Cordova Bay offers stunning views of Mount Baker and Haro Strait. We offer five sets of tees which provide an appropriate challenge for both beginners and professionals. The golf course s natural environment has a richness and beauty that provides you with a truly carefree day! We are very proud to be the first Audubon certified golf course on Vancouver Island, home to more than 100 bird species, otter, mink, deer, a few goats and more. You could also visit our beautiful 9-hole Par-3 Ridge Course, located just across the road, which offers 9 challenging par 3 holes and a terrific short game practice area and putting course. Perfect for corporate outings it is a must see! The 10th hole at the clubhouse offers just the right view to complete your day! Full Event Payment is due (course rental & banquet) Note: an event may increase their numbers by 10% up to 7 days in advance for food & beverage and will be billed separately. 7 DAYS PRIOR the draw (in excel format) to the CBGC Events Coordinator at events@cordovabaygolf.com any logos (in.jpg format) as well rules sheet to Cordova Bay final club rental list 1 DAY PRIOR TO EVENT Deliver all on-course signs and/or banners to the golf course with hole/location designation marked on the back of the signage EVENT DAY Hole in one vehicles and signage arrive on course Arrive early for registration setup and to discuss any last minute changes with our Events Coordinator. Have fun! GOLF TALK STROKE PLAY - A round of golf where score is kept by adding the total of strokes taken throughout the round. BEST BALL - Best ball can be played using 2-, 3- or 4-person teams. Each team player plays his/her own golf ball throughout the round, and on each hole the low score - or "best ball" - of the group serves as the team score for that hole. SCRAMBLE (TEXAS SCRAMBLE) - Each player in the foursome tees off. The players decide which is the best ball to play and all four players make their next shot from that spot (players pick up the balls not being used). This process continues for each shot (including putts) until the ball is holed. Most scrambles require that each foursome use either 3 or 4 of the tee shots of each player. KP (Closest to the Pin) - On a par-3 hole, tee shots that find the green will be measured throughout the day for distance from the flagstick. At the end of the day, the golfer who was closest to the pin wins a prize. LD (Longest Drive) - On a straight par 4 or 5 first drives are measured for distance down the fairway. Long drives are marked. At the end of the day, the golfer with the longest drive wins. HANDICAP - Numerical representation of a golfer's playing ability. The lower a golfer's handicap, the better the golfer is. MODIFIED SHOTGUN - 1st & 10th tee starts may be scheduled if the number of players is between SHOTGUN START - Will commence at either 8am or 2pm. Minimum number of players required is 120. SHOTGUN STOP - Will commence at either 8am or 2pm. A horn will be sounded at the 4-hour mark. Players will finish their hole and proceed to the clubhouse. 19TH HOLE - this is a term referring to the pub, lounge or restaurant in the clubhouse of the golf course. COURSE MARSHAL - His/her job is to assist golfers in maintaining an expected pace of play and assisting with any golf related questions. ALBATROSS - Three under par for the hole BIRDIE - One under par for the hole BOGEY - One stroke over par for the hole EAGLE - Two under par for the hole HOLE IN ONE - Holing the ball in one shot PAR - The predetermined number of shots it should take a golfer to hole the ball. The par is represented on the scorecard.

4 TOURNAMENT PACKAGE Golf Tournament Packages start at $115 per player (1st tee start) or SHOTGUN EVENTS - talk to us for a quote Cordova Bay Tournament Package includes the following: 18 Holes of Golf -in order to coordinate golf with banquet, we suggest a 5 hour time limit. Talk to us about ways to speed up play. Club Car Power Cart Custom Set Up Shared power cart for all players for up to 88 players. Additional carts required are at a cost of $80 per cart. All power carts will be staged, custom signed with player names, tournament details and stocked with bottled water. Driving Range Your group will have use of the driving range 1 hour prior to your event tee-time. Personalized Scorecards Scorecards will be personalized with player names as well as company logo. Please provide the list of player names to the CBGC Events Coordinator a minimum of 7 days prior to event date. Onsite Event Coordinator Our Events Coordinator will be onsite and available to your group from the onset of your event until you sit down for dinner. Registration table 8 foot tables with table cloths, skirting and bistro chairs will be placed in our breezeway for your registration needs. Additional tables available at your request. Event Scoring Our Pro Shop staff would be happy to assist you with your final scoring. We will also be happy to collect all on course skills competition signage and present you with the final list of winners. 9 GOLF TOURNAMENT CONTRACT DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT A deposit of $1,000 is payable upon booking. Final payment is due 14 days in advance of play for golf and banquet and is non-refundable. An invoice for any supplementary charges will be ed to you and your deposit can be deducted from that invoice or refunded within 5-7 business days following the event. We accept the following methods of payment : Visa, MasterCard, Cash or Cheques. AMEX payments are subject to a 1% fee. CONFIRMATION Final menu choices must be made 1 month prior to your event. After prepayment has been received, an event may increase their numbers by 10% up to 7 days in advance and will be billed separately. GUARANTEED NUMBERS AND FINAL PAYMENT IS DUE BY: Foursomes: Incomplete foursomes in group events have the following options: *Purchase the remainder of the incomplete foursome tee time to remain private. *Give up the right to the remainder of the incomplete foursome tee time, wherein Cordova Bay Golf Course will make these tee times available to the public. CANCELLATION All cancellations must be received in writing or by . NOTE: Deposits are non-refundable in case of a cancellation. LIABILITY/ RENTALS The organization and its Representative shall be responsible for the conduct of all tournament participants, and are jointly and severally liable for any damages to any property, including all club and cart rentals. POWER CART WAIVER The organization and its Representative holds Cordova Bay Golf Course free and harmless from any claims that may arise through the group s use of a power cart and agrees to pay for any damages done to any power cart for the duration of the event with the authorized credit card number on file. FOOD AND ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES All banquet food not consumed in Bill Mattick s restaurant must remain. No food is permitted to leave the premises due to health regulations. All donated products must be approved by the F&B Manager and will be subject to a per item service charge (i.e. donated bottled water $1.00 per bottle). Any alcohol given out as prizes or gifts cannot be opened in the restaurant. Guests will receive a voucher and may claim their prize/gift from the bar at the conclusion of the function. NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL PERMITTED: In the event that outside alcohol is brought to the course and consumed, those individuals and/or their group will be refused further service on the course and in the restaurant. As well, CBGC has the right to confiscate any outside alcohol and/or ask the individual or group to leave the premises. DRESS CODE Cordova Bay asks all players wear clothing that will allow for a free flowing athletic motion. We reserve the right to refuse access to our facilities to any guest wearing offensive or inappropriate clothing. CORDOVA BAY IS A SOFT SPIKE ONLY GOLF COURSE. PACE OF PLAY Golf course marshals have full authority to maintain our pace of play expectations. Failure of foursomes to maintain the expected pace could result in their being asked to advance a hole or more. Discuss ways for improving pace of play with our Events Coordinator. NOTE: In order to coordinate golf with banquet, we suggest a 5 hour time limit. Talk to us about ways to speed up play.

10 INCLEMENT WEATHER Tournaments will commence as scheduled unless the Golf Course Superintendent deems the golf course to be unplayable. SIGNAGE The CBGC Events Coordinator must be consulted regarding any signage or display materials to be used on the property by organizers or sponsors. Hole signs must be received at least 24 hours in advance. CBGC will place all signage on the course prior to play. CBGC will remove all signage from the course after play is completed. NOTE: Signage may not be stored at Cordova Bay Golf Course after the event. Signage that is left behind is subject to recycling or disposal. DRAW SHEETS The draw and any special requirements, such as club rental reservations and on-course set up, are required 7 days in advance of play. NOTE: Any requests made thereafter can not be guaranteed. In the case of shotgun starts, CBGC will assign starting holes. In the case of first tee starts, tee-time intervals are 9 minutes. Cordova Bay Golf Course reserves the right to amend terms and conditions at anytime.
