5 KA SUBSCRIPTIONS The KA Subscription is an annual or monthly payment scheme which entitles the subscriber to access a range of activities, specific to the subscription type purchased and accessible within the Company s sport and fitness facilities across North Ayrshire. There are 5 Subscription types as detailed below. Subscription Type Multi Use Fitness Studio Only Swimming Only Young People Child Top-Up Benefits Provides unlimited access to all fitness studios, all fitness classes, all Swimming Pools, Ice Rink, Squash, and discounted access to Badminton and Table Tennis. Provides unlimited access to all fitness studios. Provides unlimited access to all swimming pools for Adults or Children Provides unlimited access to all fitness studios, all fitness classes, all Swimming Pools, Ice Rink, Squash, and discounted access to Badminton and Table Tennis. (Portal/Auchenharvie / West Kilbride only Available for all current KA Subscription holders and entitles the child (up to 13 years) to unlimited access to swimming (inc. Swimming clubs), public skating, kid s fitness, athletics and golf driving range KA Subscriptions are available to customers as follows, Subscription Category Individual Adult Joint Access Plus Adult Corporate Young Person Volunteer Description Available to all adults of 16 years or over. Available for up to 2 adults of 16 years or over who are resident at the same address. Only available to people already in possession of a current Access Plus Card. Only available as a Multi Use Subscription. Only available to individuals employed by companies who have formally joined the KA Corporate Subscription Scheme. Joint Corporate memberships are available where one customer is an employee of a member company. Available to all young people aged 14 or 15 years Available to all active Volunteers within the Community who are registered with The Ayrshire Community Trust (TACT). Joint Volunteer memberships are available where one customer is a registered volunteer. Only available as a Multi Use Subscription Customers interested in a Multi Use or Studio Only subscription should make an appointment with a KA Fitness Instructor who will explain benefits and costs and organise an Induction etc. A Swimming Only Subscription can be purchased at front of house. For appointments and further information, customers should contact reception at each facility or a member of KA Studio staff. A Joining Fee is payable on commencement of each monthly subscription and sale of a joining fee must be made in each case. The standard charge for a Joining Fee is however from time to time this figure may vary in line with current KA Subscription Promotions. 5

8 GOLF Golf Season Tickets are annual tickets valid from 1st April to 31st March each year offering unlimited use of a specified golf course(s) to the ticket holder. Golf season tickets go on sale from 1st December each year and may be purchased at any KA Leisure Golf Course. There are 3 types of Golf Season Ticket Golf Season Tickets Description 9 Hole Season Ticket This season ticket entitles the ticket holder to unlimited golf on the KA Leisure 9 Hole Golf Course. 3 Course Season Ticket This season ticket entitles the ticket holder to unlimited golf on all of the KA Leisure Golf Courses. Categories of Golf Season tickets available are, Category of Season Ticket Standard Adult Standard Youth Standard Juvenile Senior Citizen Access Plus Adult Overseas Registered KA Course Club Member Eligibility Criteria Adults aged 22 and over. Young people aged 18 years and under. Young people aged 15 years and under. Adults over the age of 59 years with an Access Plus Subscription. Adults already in possession of an Access Plus Subscription. Adults working offshore or frequent visitors to the area. Members of Golf Clubs associated with Ravenspark, Routenburn and Auchenharvie Golf Courses. Season Ticket Application forms are available from all 3 Courses or from Galt House. Customers are required to complete a form and present it, together with appropriate payment for chosen season ticket type, to staff at Golf Course Ticket Offices. In general, Golf Season Tickets are annual and should be paid at time of purchase or renewal. However, Staff of K A Leisure and North Ayrshire Council may opt to spread the cost of their season ticket purchase by paying directly through payroll either weekly or monthly (NAC Mandate). All individuals opting to spread the cost of their Golf Season Ticket are required to complete an Employee/ Payment Mandate available at each Course or from Galt House. All Employee/Payment mandates should then be forwarded to Galt House for verification. Once verified the Course staff will be notified to issue the season ticket and the customer will be notified as to when payments will start and invited to uplift his/her season ticket on their next visit to the Course. Winter Fees Winter Fees are effective from 1st November each year until 28th or 29th of February. All golf rounds purchased out with these dates should be sold at the appropriate rate. 8

12 OUTDOOR SPORTS Synthetic Pitch Hire All hire rates are based on a standard Half Hourly rate for either adults or juveniles and on whether a Full or Part pitch is being used. The Floodlighting price however is per activity and NOT per half hour. Sports Pitch Team Registration (Grass Pitches) This is an annual registration system that allows teams to book grass pitches on Mondays between the hours of am and 4.00 pm for the forthcoming weekend. Only teams/representatives with a unique booking reference number allocated by KA Leisure will be able to book pitches on Mondays. All other teams must wait until Tuesday to make their booking. Teams wishing to join the Team Registration system should complete a sports pitch registration application form in June of each year. This form should then be submitted to the Outdoor Sports Officer, together with payment of the appropriate annual fee. Registration will only be accepted subject to availability. To complete registration, the customer must present themselves at a facility reception providing 2 forms of identification, one of which must be a utility bill showing their current name and address. Bookings Team representatives may book pitches or training by calling any of the 4 leisure facilities within North Ayrshire. Sports Pitch Bookings may be made Monday (Registered Teams only), Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am until 4pm and on Thursdays from 10am till 2.30pm. Customers may call during these times to book any sports pitch/area, grass or synthetic pitch for training and/or games. Only Registered Teams, i.e. teams with annual team registration and who have received their unique booking reference, can book weekend games the previous Monday, or Tuesday when Monday is a Public Holiday. All other teams, i.e. non-registered teams, may book from Tuesday onwards, or Wednesday when Monday is a Public Holiday. Payment should be received in all cases at the time of booking. 12
