1 12 TH ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT Thursday September 8, 2016 BUNKER HILLS GOLF CLUB The 12 th Annual Senior Care Communities Golf Tournament was our most successful tournament ever with 180 golfers participating and record of 24 Hole Sponsors (full list of sponsors noted on back page). The tournament raised a net $47,000 for the Scholarship Fund for our employees and resident programs. A huge thank you to all of our vendors and sponsors for joining us for the annual event. The beautiful weather aided the opportunity to socialize with the golfers as they made their rounds. A special thanks to our 30 volunteers who worked so hard to ensure the success of the tournament. Lisa Pfeifer, Admissions Director from Birchwood Senior Living coordinated the registration process and made sure it ran smoothly; Katie Kopher, Community Life Director at Woodbury Villa was the coordinator of the silent & bucket auctions and raffles along with Nancy Bond from Senior Care Communities; and to Kathy Dunleavy who coordinated the raffle sales teams with her trusty colleagues from Woodbury Health Center, Katy Langevin and Margaret Wachholz. These ladies really know how to sell those raffle tickets. In addition to taking the fabulous pictures in this newsletter, our photographer, Susan Megrund put together a lovely video that captured resident activities in our communities. It also served as a memorial salute to Daly Goblirsch, Operations Vice President for TWSL, who left us way too soon. Howie Groff delivered a toast in his honor along with Daly s son, Kevin. We are especially grateful to the staff of Tealwood Senior Living and TWSL for their enthusiastic support in making this event such a huge success.
