8 Owner s Manual Cleaning & Cleansers The basic rule of humb is o use he mildes cleaning agen ha will do he job effecively. Afer cleaning, always rinse horoughly wih clear waer, and dry compleely. Frequen cleaning will prolong he service life of sainless seel equipmen and will help mainain a brigh, pleasing appearance. Ordinary deposis of wase and fluids can usually be removed wih soap and waer. More subborn deposis or ighly adhering debris may require harder scrubbing and possibly he use of commercial cleaning producs accepable for use on meal surfaces. When using any cleaning agen, rub in he direcion of he polish lines or grain of he meal. For high luser finishes, clean sof clohs or pads should be used. If especially rough cleaning is necessary, use sainless seel wool, nylon or plasic scrubbers. Tes hese scrubbers in an inconspicuous area firs o be sure hey do no mar or scrach he sainless seel finish. Minor scale build-up and some hard waer spoing may be removed by washing wih vinegar, followed by a neuralizing rinse wih clear waer and a horough drying wih a sof cloh. For heavy deposis of scale, 5% oxalic acid (use warm), 5-15% sulfamic acid, or 5-10% phosphoric acid may be used. Always follow wih a neuralizing rinse of clean waer and a horough drying. Deodorizing Agens, Disinfecans, & Saniizers The large selecion of brands and combinaions of chemicals available for deodorizing, disinfecing and saniizing is saggering. Selec one or more agens for use in your faciliy only afer weighing all he benefis claimed by each produc. Ofen his choice is made wihou adequae consideraion of he effecs hese agens may produce on equipmen or furnishings. CAUTION: Before selecing a chemical o employ in your faciliy, review label saemens regarding use wih meals (sainless seel). Always consul he chemical supplier if here are any doubs. Avoid prolonged use of chlorides (such as chlorine bleach), bromides, iodides and hiocyanaes on sainless seel surfaces as hese chemicals will cause piing, corrosion and meal discoloraion. Allowing saly soluions o evaporae and dry on sainless seel may also conribue o corrosive condiions. The able is heavy, however, and handling i can be awkward for one person. We recommend ha unpacking and insallaion be done by a leas wo people. Unpacking & Inspecion If he shipping conainer appears damaged in any way, conac he shipping company immediaely. Save all damaged packing maerials o assis in proving liabiliy for damage. Carefully inspec your Bahing Table while you unpack i. If any damage is noed, or if pars appear o be missing, call SSCI Cusomer Service a (800) immediaely. Tools & Supplies Required Insallaion Sequence Deermine he Bahing Table Locaion To insall he Bahing Table, you will require only he basic ools and plumbing supplies. The Classic Bahing Table is easy o insall. Since every insallaion will be a lile differen, however, we sugges ha he following insallaion insrucions serve as a general guide: 1. Deermine he able locaion. 2. Open he wall (only if necessary o pipe in he fauce and drain - frequenly no required on new consrucion). 3. Insall he piping for he fauce and drain. 4. Finish he wall. 5. Insall he Bahing Table. 6. Connec he drain. 7. Level he able. 8. Insall he fauces. Deermine where you wan he Bahing Table o be mouned. 11 Classic Bahing Table wih Access Door Open he Wall If his is no new consrucion, open he wall as necessary o insall piping for he Bahing Table fauce and drain. Insall he Plumbing Piping for he Fauce & Drain Finish he Wall Noe: Use only wall-mouned fauces. The Bahing Table is no designed for use wih deck-mouned fauces. Insall he pipes and any oher iems required for he fauce and drain. Afer all plumbing is complee, he wall can be finished. Insall he Bahing Table Place he Bahing Table in place agains he wall(s) wih he drain hole aligned wih he drain piping. Connec he Drain Connec he drain piping o he able drain. Level he Bahing Table Roaing he levelers on he legs (Figure 1) allows you o adjus he level of he able. Noe: The ub has a buil-in 1-inch downward slope oward he drain for proper drainage, herefore, adjusing he leveler pads may no be necessary. Table Leg Leveler 1. Pour waer ino he ub and observe he flow. If i flows easily and compleely o he drain, he able is jus fine as i is. Sop here and proceed o Insall he Fauces on Page 12. If he waer does no flow o he drain, go o Sep 2 o raise he non-drain end of he ub slighly. 2. Raise he non-drain end of he able as necessary for he legs o clear he floor. 13 Use & Care of Your Bahing Table Classic Bahing Table wih Access Door Using Your Bahing Table Inroducion Opening & Closing he Access Door Oher han he fauce(s), he Bahing Table has only wo moving pars: he access door and he roaing walk-up ramp. The able has a sainless seel hinged door ha swings inward o allow he animal easy enrance and exi. The door includes a heavyduy, spring-loaded, self-laching posiive door cach ha auomaically seals he door o preven leakage. To open he access door, simply push he circular knob away from he door opening, and push he door open (Figure 2). The knob is spring-loaded and will reurn o is normal posiion. The access door only opens inward. When closing he door, make sure i closes and locks securely o provide a sure seal agains waer leakage. Using he Walk-up Ramp The roaing walk-up ramp is parked convenienly under he able bu can be roaed ouward o faciliae access. The ramp has a non-slip, dura-grid surface ha provides racion we or dry. To open or park he walk-up ramp, grasp he ramp a any convenien poin and pull or push he ramp o he posiion you desire (Figure 3). The lower end of he ramp is wheeled and allows he ramp o urn easily in eiher direcion. Form No May,

14 Owner s Manual Caring for Your Bahing Table Inroducion You will no doub wan o clean your Bahing Table frequenly. Mainaining high sandards of saniaion will be an imporan prioriy for your faciliy. Cleaning Procedures Rinse he Bahing Table wih clear waer and dry horoughly wih clean, sof clohs. Ordinary deposis of wase fluids can usually be removed wih soap and waer.
