3 Conditions of Entry (please read them) 1. The VAHA Arabian Youngstock Show is conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations for the Arabian Horse Society of Australia Ltd. Competitors are responsible for becoming familiar with all sections of these rules as they form a part of the conditions of Entry for this show. Copies of the rules can be obtained through the AHSA Ltd or downloaded from 2. (a). All horses must be registered with AHSA Ltd for Arabian classes and with a relevant Breed Society for all other classes. Copy of registration to be provided with entry. All entrants must be a current financial member of the AHSA. (b) Unregistered horses will be accepted at close of entry but will not be catalogued It is up to the owner to prove to the show committee that the horse is registered prior to the class. In the event that no proof is forthcoming the exhibit will not be eligible for competition in any classes that registration papers are not available and the entry fees will be forfeited. See rule 2a. The lodging of an entry shall bind the Exhibitor to the Conditions of Entry set out herein and the signature of any Exhibitor on the entry Forms shall be deemed as an acceptance of these conditions. 4. The Association Committee shall have the power without assigning any reason to :- (a) Reject or cancel any entry at any time. (b) Prohibit the participation by any person or exhibit in any event/class for which it is entered. (c) Cancel any event or class. (d) Remove any Exhibit from the Showgrounds. (e) Alter the time at which any class or event is to take place. 5. Entry fees will not be refunded once the entry has been accepted regardless of the reason. In some instances, a substitute horse may be brought in place of an unregistered or scratched horse by arrangement ONLY with the Secretary. A vet certificate will need to be provided. 6. The Association shall not be responsible for the loss of or damage to or injury to any Exhibit or to the property of any Exhibitor from any causes whatsoever. The Exhibitor enters entirely at their own risk. In any case any Exhibit, whilst at Werribee Park shall cause or be the cause of any injury or damage to any other Exhibitor or to the person or property of any Members of the Association or the General Public, the Owner of such Exhibits shall indemnify the Association, its Officials and Members for any damage, costs, claims, expenses or liabilities incurred with such Exhibits. The Exhibitors shall be liable to the Association, its Officers, Officials and Members for any damage or loss to any of them by the Exhibitor or the Exhibitors agent. 8. Protests are to be lodged with the Secretary within 30 minutes after the event with a $50.00 deposit. In the event of a Protest being judged frivolous, the deposit shall be forfeited. Any other disputes will be adjudicated using the AHSA Ltd Rule Handbook. 9. Foals being shown at the VAHA Arabian Youngstock Show are allowed a companion horse in the ring ed or faxed entries will not be processed until payment has been received. Direct deposits must provide a receipt of payment with entries. WERRIBEE PARK RULES Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre Committee of Management consider it a privilege that you are allowed to bring your dog to this venue. We insist you keep your dog under effective control at all times. Approved Safety Helmets must be worn at all times when riding. Cross Country obstacles must not be jumped/used unless a EFA approved level 1 coach is present. Riding of horses bareback is prohibited. Riding of rugged and/or unbridled horses is prohibited. Any person may lead a maximum of two horses while mounted. Stallions must at all times be in the control of a person aged seventeen years or more, when led or ridden. Horses are not permitted within/upon the quadrangle (between the barn & Indoor1) Horses are not permitted near pedestrian door ways. Bicycles are not permitted in the Indoor Arenas. Bicycles are not permitted near doors designated as public entrances or exits. Motor Cyclist riders must wear approved safety helmets and hold the appropriate licence. Speed limits must be adhered to at all times. Power leads must not cross roads or tracks Construction of portable/tape yards is prohibited. Alcohol must not be consumed in the Indoor Arenas, unless purchased from the licensed bar located in Indoor Arena No1. No infrastructure to be erected on WPNEC grounds without written approval by management prior to event. A GUIDE TO TIMES WILL BE POSTED ON THE VAHA WEBSITE approximately one week prior to the show.

4 Magic Breed Start time will be advised via website Entry fee for classes under both judges is $25.00 Class entry under one judge only is $15.00 Any entries received after 6 th May 2015 and all entries taken on the day will be at the following rate of $20.00 per class for VAHA Members and $25.00 per class for Non VAHA members. 5 AJAY AWARD for best Junior Derivative To be judged at lunch time on Sunday JUDGES are Sharon Bassett and Harald Hartelt Class 45. Weanling Arabian Derivative Class 46. Yearling Arabian Derivative Judged by 2 judges using a scoring system. For Arabian Derivatives who carry a minimum of 50% Arabian blood as stated on the AHSA Stud Book. Placings to 3 rd. 1 st 30% of prize pool, 2nd 20% of prize pool, 3rd 10% of prize pool of 60% of entries. The winner of each section will contest for the Supreme Ajay Garland. Entry fee for this class is $30.00

6 PETstock 1.00 pm approximately Judges: Sharon Bassett (A) and Harald Hartelt (B) These classes will be judged simultaneously in Ring 1 by BOTH judges with separate results applying to the class. You do not have to compete under both judges if you do not wish to. For both classes the entry fee is $25.00 (being Class A & Class B). If you wish to only compete under one judge the class fee is $15.00 and you will have to nominate either A or B on the entry form with the appropriate class number. Any entries received after 6 th May 2015 and all entries taken on the day will be at the following rate of $20.00 per class for VAHA Members and $25.00 per class for Non VAHA members.
