ADD/SCRATCH No slip, no trip. If you are not on the class sheet, you must add in the show office and bring the slip to the ingate. If you are scratching, you must also do this in the show office and bring your slip to the ingate. No adds on Sunday. ATTIRE Jackets will be worn for the hunter and equitation classes in the show rings. Rider will be allowed to show in tucked in polo shirts in the jumper ring. The classics and mini-prix require formal attire. AMATEUR STATUS Adults showing in Adult Amateur and/or Amateur Owner classes must present their amateur certification to the show secretary before numbers will be issued. CANADIAN EXHIBITORS The legend US Fund must be pre-printed on the face of all Canadian checks drawn on Canadian banks used to pay entry fees. CHAMPION & RESERVE AWARDS Divisions with 3 or more entries are eligible for Champion and Reserve Champion awards. Points for the top 4 riders over fences will be combined with their Under Saddle points and the rider with the most points will be awarded the Championship, with the second highest point winner recieving the Reserve Championship. In the case of a tie, the rider with the most points over fences will receive the Championship. COGGINS Current Negative Coggins Test Certificate dated within one year must accompany entry. DOGS All dogs must be leashed at all times while on the show grounds. Unrestrained dogs create a serious safety hazard for exhibitors and their horses. Loose dogs will not be tolerated in the show ring area. They will be impounded and the owner will be charged a $100 fine added to their entry fee which will be donated to the SPCA. ELECTRICAL/FIRE REGULATIONS All electrical installation and connections must meet all state and county codes. Aisles shall be maintained clear for a minimum of six (6) feet wide by eight (8) feet high. No obstructions or projections shall be allowed in these aisles. No class I Flammable liquids, such as gasoline, are allowed inside the buildings. Cooking is not permitted within any stable area. Anyone found in violation shall be subject to dismissal from further participation in the Horse Show without recourse. FARRIER/VETERINARIAN/PHOTOGRAPHER No farrier/veterinarian/photographer other than the official competition farrier/veterinarian/photographer will be permitted to practice on the grounds without express permission of the management. Exhibitors wishing to use another farrier/veterinarian/photographer must request a permit at the Horse Show Office. FOOD Food service will be available on the grounds beginning the day of the show through Sunday. FOOTING Rings 1 & 2 (150 x 275 ) Sand/Gravel Dust Ring 3 (150 x 275 ) Dirt/Sand Derby Field (300 x 300 ) Dirt/Sand Grand Prix Field (300 x 300 ) & Schooling Area, Grass JUMP ORDER AND CONFLICTS A rotating jump order will, at management s discretion, be established for any jumping class. The starter must be advised by exhibitors of any conflicts to make necessary adjustments. A 3 minute time may be called by management. (See also, ORDERS OF GO) HORSE WELFARE Horses and ponies may not enter more than 7 classes over fences, including equitation and all special classes, per day. LUNGING No lunging permitted in the show rings. Lunging only in designated areas. ORDERS OF GO IN ORDER FOR US TO SCHEDULE THE ENTIRE DAY, YOUR ENTRIES WILL NEED TO BE IN THE SHOW OFFICE BY 5 PM THE DAY PRIOR TO YOUR SHOW DAY. THE SYSTEM WILL NOT FUNCTION CORRECTLY WITH OUT YOUR INPUT. ONCE RE- CEIVED, WE WILL MAKE A TIME SCHEDULE PLAN. WE WILL DESIGNATE A PRI- ORITY RING EACH DAY AND ONLY THAT RING WILL HAVE A POSTED ORDER OF GO. THE REMAINING RINGS WILL HAVE A START TIME AND A FINISH TIME FOR EACH CLASS/ DIVISION WHERE YOU WILL CHECK IN WITH YOUR STARTER. THE SCHEDULE WILL BE POSTED AT THE SHOW OFFICE AND AT EACH STARTER INGATE NO LATER THAN 8PM THE DAY BEFORE YOU SHOW. AN OFFICIAL SHOW TIME WILL BE ANNOUNCED 1 HOUR PRIOR TO THE START OF THE SHOW EACH MORNING. MINOR EXHIBITORS Parent(s) or guardian(s) of a minor child shall hold the horse show management and the facility harmless for any injury to such minor. No minor child s entry will be accepted or number issued unless entry is signed by a parent or LEGAL guardian. The signature of unrelated persons WILL NOT be accepted. MOTORIZED VEHICLES/GOLF CARTS Minors who do not have a valid driver s license which allows them to operate a motorized vehicle in the state in which they reside will not be permitted to operate a motorized vehicle of any kind including, but not limited to, golf carts, motorcycles, scooters, or farm utility vehicles on the competition grounds of recognized competitions. Minors who have a valid temporary license may operate the above described motorized vehicles as long as they are accompanied by an adult with a valid driver s license. Violations of this rule will be cause for sanctions against the parent(s), guardian(s) and/or trainer(s) who are responsible for the child committing the offense. Penalties may include exclusion of the child, parent(s), guardian(s), and/or trainer(s) from the competition grounds for the remainder of the competition and charges being filed against any of the above individuals in accordance with Rule 6. Wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt from this rule. PADDOCKS Limited Paddock Space Available. $250 per week, only one paddock per trainer. First Come, First Served. PONY DISTANCES Will be run according to size of the pony. PRIZE MONEY The owner of any horse or pony exhibited in classes where prize money is awarded MUST provide a Social Security or Federal ID number on the entry. Foreign Exhibitors must fill out a W-8ECI or W-8BEN form prior to receiving any winnings. Prize money will be applied as a credit on your account at the show office. Checks will be mailed within 30 days after the show. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR Everyone must wear properly fitting ASTM protective headgear with harness secured and properly fitted while riding in the designated schooling and exercise areas, the show ring and while jumping or riding anywhere on the show grounds. It is the responsibility of the rider, or the parent or guardian or trainer of the junior exhibitors to see to it that the headgear worn complies with appropriate safety standards and is properly fitted and in good condition. MOTOR HOME/RV HOOK-UPS Motor home and camper hook-ups are available for $175 per show. Spaces are limited, reserve in advance. If you are arriving after hours, please let us know in advance. SCHOOLING Schooling in the show rings without permission is prohibited at all times. There will be a $100 fine for anyone caught in the rings before or after the show if rings have been closed. Rings will be available for schooling after the show each day. Closing times will be announced each day. The rings will be available for hacking only in the mornings. No morning schooling. TICKETED WARM-UP Tickets are $25.00 and should be purchased in the horse show office and are good for one round of eight jumps. Tickets are NOT refundable. 39

3 The Horse Show Committee reserves the right to itself to interpret all questions and conditions in regard to or arising out of, or incident to the show without claims for damages or recourse of any kind. All questions not covered in these Rules and Regulations shall be decided by the Horse Show Management; its decision to be final. The Horse Show Management reserve to itself the right to limit entries in any class, section or division, to refuse, accept conditionally, or to cancel any entries, disqualify any riders or exhibitors, prohibit exhibition of entries, and cancel award prizes, without any claim for damages; to change any course, to add a dotted line, to cancel or combine any unfilled classes, or to reschedule classes, after due notice to exhibitors; to change rings or rotate judges, to change specifications in jumper classes as competitions warrants. Every horse entered herein for competition will be under the control of the Horse Show Management, but the Show Management will in no case be responsible for any loss or damage that may occur, and it shall be a condition of entry that each exhibitor shall hold the horse show and the officials, employees, directors, officers, sponsoring entities of the horse show and the facilities at which the horse show is held blameless for any loss or accident to his horse(s), employee(s), or equipment which may occur from sickness, fire or other cause. COMPETITION OFFICE HOURS Competition days - Opens one hour before the start of the first class and closes 30 minutes following the last class. Non Competition days (day before show) - 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. DAMAGE All owners and exhibitors shall be held responsible for any damage incurred by them, their agents or employees to stalls, buildings, and other properties on the show grounds, and shall be billed accordingly. (This includes screw eyes or nails in stalls.) DAY EXHIBITORS/NON STABLING Horses entered but not stabled must use the designated area for day exhibitors. $35.00 grounds fee per horse and a $30.00 service fee per horse per show. 38 Rules & Regulations NON SHOWING HORSE All non showing horses must have a signed entry blank in the office, $50.00 non showing fee and $30.00 service fee per horse per show. REFUNDS Full refunds will be given before the closing date of the stalls. After the closing date of stalls, stall fees are not refundable. After the show starts, with the official vet s certificate only, refunds will be given minus the stabling fee and a $25.00 scratch fee and fees for classes already held prior to notification of horse show secretary, whether exhibited or not. Scratches must be made in the horse show office on the official form. Refunds will be mailed within 30 days after the horse show. Refunds of entry fees will not be given in the event a class or classes, or all or part of the competition is cancelled due to a storm, inclement weather, accident or other emergency. SERVICE FEE All horses, showing or non showing, will be assessed a fee of $ This fee allows the horse UNLIMITED add/scratches from classes, access to schooling areas and rings at designated times and defers all charges for parking passes. SPLITTING OF TACK STALLS The horse show office will split the tack stalls per the Trainers instructions among his/her customers up to each Friday at 11:00 a.m. At that point, the total amount will be billed to the trainers barn account. Known as the original winter colony you are assured to find warmth in this charming historic southern town. Aiken offers a quaint downtown area, less than five minutes from the showgrounds, with numerous shops and restaurants. Over the past 8 years, Progressive Show Jumping has been offering our winter series. Each year we make improvements to create a better showing experience for our exhibitors. We pride ourselves on providing a competition that offers the highest ratio of prize money to entry fees in comparison to other shows. In addition to our great prize money, this year we will also be offering the Aiken Challenge Series for our five winter shows. Children, Adult, Amateur/Owner, and Junior hunters and Child/Adult Jumpers have been selected to receive awards for the horse/rider combination that accumulates the most points in their divisions. Good luck! New this year you will find our NEW BARN 4 and continually improved footing both in the jumper ring and jumper schooling area. Our hunter rings have fantastic all weather footing, in case of inclement weather. There will be weekly exhibitor s parties and fun for everyone! 5 Hunter Division Specs 36 HUNTER DIVISION PRIZE MONEY 1st - 30%, 2nd 22%, 3rd 15%, 4th 15%, 5th 10%, 6th 8% HUNTER OVER FENCES To be shown over approximately eight fences at the required height. To be judged on performance and soundness unless otherwise noted. HUNTER UNDER SADDLE CLASS To be shown at a walk, trot and canter. Light contact with the horse s mouth is required. May be asked to hand gallop at the discretion of the judge, but no more than eight to gallop at one time. martingales are not permitted. Green and non-rated hunter sections will not be asked to gallop. MODEL CLASS To be shown at a walk and trot on the line; to be judged on conformation, way of moving and soundness. HUNTER CHAMPION AND RESERVE CHAMPION To be awarded to two of the four horses scoring the most points over fences, in addition, only these will receive full points for ribbons won under saddle and half points for ribbons won in the model. ORDERS OF GO In order for us to schedule the entire day, your entries will need to be in the show office by 5 pm the day prior to your show day. The system will not function correctly with out your input. Once received, we will make a time schedule plan. We will designate a Priority Ring each day and only that ring will have a POSTED order of go. The remaining rings will have a start time and a finish time for each class/ division where you will check in with your starter. The schedule will be posted at the show office and at each starter ingate no later than 8pm the day before you show. An official show time will be announced 1 hour prior to the start of the show each morning. COURSES Hunter courses will simulate fences found in the hunting fields such as brush, wall, in-and-out, oxer, post and rails, gate, aiken, bank, coop and panels. Management reserves the right to adjust fence heights or spreads as competition warrants. MEASUREMENT CARDS - PONY HUNTER The person presenting any animal to be shown in a Hunter Pony class must be in possession of (a) a measurement card issued by the USEF; (b) a certified card applied for prior to Dec. 1, 1987; or (c) a copy of a valid measurement form, and same must be presented to the horse show secretary. Numbers WILL NOT be issued before the above requirements have been complied with. Time and place of measurement will be announced for those requiring measurement. MEASUREMENT CARDS - JUNIOR HUNTER All horses showing in the Junior Hunter division must be in possession of a USEF measurement card or a copy of a valid measurement form, and same must be presented to the horse show secretary. FORMAL ATTIRE - HUNTERS & EQUITATION Hunt coat; white shirt with white stock, tie or choker; white, buff or canary breeches; protective headgear. Riders must wear protective headgear in accordance with USEF rules. NO EXCEP- TIONS. USEF CONDITIONS Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF Rule Book will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith. S.C. EQUINE LIABILITY LAW Under South Carolina law, an equine activity sponsor or equine professional is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in an equine activity resulting from an inherent risk of equine activity. Pursuant to Article 7, Chapter 9 of Title 47, Code of Law of South Carolina,1976. USEF 2011 MEMBERSHIP STATEMENT LIFE, SENIOR ACTIVE AND JUNIOR ACTIVE MEMBERS SHALL BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN ALL CLASSES AT REGULAR COMPETITIONS, EVENTING COMPETITIONS AT THE PRELIMINARY LEVEL OR ABOVE AND COMBINED DRIVING COMPETITIONS AT THE ADVANCED LEVEL, DRESSAGE, REINING AND VAULTING COMPETITIONS AND ENDURANCE RIDES. A NONMEMBER MAY PARTICIPATE AS A HANDLER, RIDER, DRIVER, OWNER, LESSEE, AGENT, COACH OR TRAINER AT REGULAR COMPETITIONS, EVENTING COMPETITIONS, DRESSAGE COMPETITIONS, REINING COMPETITIONS AND COMBINED DRIVING COMPETITIONS UPON PAYMENT OF A $30 NONMEMBER REGISTRATION FEE. PARTICIPANTS IN THE FOLLOWING CLASSES ARE EXEMPTED FROM THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS RULE: 1) LEADLINE; 2) EXHIBITIONS; 3) GAMES AND RACES; 4) CLASSES FOR 4-H MEMBERS; 5) WALK TROT AND ACADEMY CLASSES (ACADEMY CLASSES ARE CLASSES LIMITED TO HORSES USED REGULARLY IN A LESSON PROGRAM); 6) USDF INTRODUCTORY LEVEL TESTS, PAS DE DEUX AND QUADRILLE CLASSES; 7) NRHA ENDORSED REINING COMPETITIONS. 8) OPPORTUNITY CLASSES, 9) CITIZENS OF OTHER NATIONS WHO HAVE PROOF, IN ENGLISH, OF CURRENT MEMBERSHIP IN GOOD STANDING OF THEIR OWN NATIONAL FEDERATION, 10) USEA BEGINNER NOVICE DIVISION; AND 11) ASSISTANT HANDLERS IN DRESSAGE SPORT HORSE BREEDING CLASSES. 5

6 Hunter Divisions $4600 PONY HUNTER DIVISION Classes limited to ponies 14.2 hands and under and riders who have not reached their 18th birthday. No pony may be shown in this division unless the owner possesses (a) a measurement card issued by the USEF; (b) a certified card applied for prior to Dec. 1, 1987; or (c) a copy of a valid card measurement form. Management WILL NOT issue exhibitor numbers until the above requirements have been complied with. Manners and suitability of a pony/rider combination are to be emphasized in all classes and extreme speed will be penalized. Entry Fee for model: $15 $1,600 GREEN PONY HUNTER Open to ponies who have not shown over fences at regulation heights at USEF or CEF regular member shows prior to the start of the previous year. To be ridden by juniors who have not reached their 18th birthday. Green ponies will be combined with less than 4 in each section. Any rider, trainer, groom, or any other person who is in violation of the rules set forth above will be fined $500 for each incident and may be suspended from further competition for the duration of the scheduled competition starting from the time of the incident. Any horse upon which a violation of the manual poling and/or use of bamboo offsets rules is perpetrated will be suspended from competition for the duration of the scheduled competition. All entry fees for the classes entered during the suspended period of the horse in question will be forfeited. DECLARATIONS Declarations must be made on the appropriate form in the show office the day before the class is to be held by 4 pm or one hour after the last Jumper class, whichever is later. Riders, owners and trainers must be active current members of the USEF and USHJA before the start of the class. The order of go will be posted a minimum of one (1) hour prior to the start of the class. Horses entered in the class will not jog for soundness. During the two phases of the class, all horses entered must have their numbers clearly visible and be ridden only in the designated National Hunter Classic warm up area. This includes horses entered simultaneously in another class. Round 1 to be shown over a hunter classic type course consisting of a minimum of 10 obstacles designed to simulate those reminiscent of the hunt field. To include 4 option jumps set at 3 5. To be judged on performance, hunter pace and style, movement and brilliance. A minimum of 12 horses including horses tied for 12th place, if available, will return for round 2, the Handy Hunter Course. The Handy Hunter Course will consist of a minimum of 8 obstacles and will include a minimum of two required handy options. Four option jumps set at 3 5 will also be included. To be judged on style, brilliance and handiness. Horse/rider combinations will receive one (1) bonus point for every high option jumped without major fault up to a maximum of four (4). In addition a maximum of 10 bonus points may be awarded for handiness of round. Numeric round scores and bonus points will be announced separately and will be combined for the total round 2 score. Round 1 and round 2 scores will be combined to determine final placings. Top eight (8) to ride for ribbons. Zone bonus points will be awarded. **Formal attire required.** Ladies Side Saddle offered only at AWC II and MM II Entry Fee: $35 per class or $90 per section To be ridden by ladies who are no longer eligible to compete as junior exhibitors. Stallions not permitted. In cases of ties, horses are to hack off of Champion and Reserve. All horses being considered for an award must be serviceably sound Under Saddle: To be shown at a walk, trot, and canter both ways of the ring in formal hunting attire with appointments. See HU129-HU130. The Under Saddle class must be held as the first class of this section. To be judged on performance and soundness with emphasis on manners 75%, formal hunting attire, appointments, and general overall appearance of horse and rider 25%. Judges should give particular consideration to quality, condition, and cleanliness of tack. Mane and tail must be braided, (Exception: roached manes or pulled tails). Judges must line up exhibitors in order of preference before checking appointments Hunter Hack: To be shown at a walk, trot, and canter both ways of the ring. Judges may ask for a hand gallop but no more than eight to hand gallop at one time. To jump two fences at 2 6. To be judged on performance and soundness with an emphasis on manners. Under Saddle performance to count 50%, Over Fences performance to count 50 % Over Fences: To be shown over a course of at least eight fences 3 in height. 11 Equitation Medal Classes TAYLOR HARRIS INSURANCE SERVICES (THIS) NATIONAL CHILDREN S MEDAL Open to all Junior members of the USEF and CEF who have never competed in a National Equitation Final with fences at 3 6 (i.e. USEF Medal; ASPCA Maclay; USET; CET or CEF Finals; WIHS Capital Cup). Rider may not compete in the State Line Tack National Children s Medal Finals and any national equitation final with fences at 3 6 (see above) in the same year. To be shown over a minimum of eight fences 2 9 to 3 in height, spread not to exceed fence height. The course may be either a Jumper or Hunter type course and must include at least two changes of direction and a combination. Water obstacles (i.e. water jump, liverpool) are not permitted. The top four riders, or 20% of the first round competitors, whichever is greater, are required to perform at least two individual test from USEF tests An Open Numerical Scoring System must be used in the first round, with each rider s score announced at the completion of their round. There is no minimum requirement to fill the class. ARIAT NATIONAL ADULT MEDAL Open to all Amateur members of the USEF and CEF who are eligible to compete in the Adult Amateur Hunter Section at this show. Effective December 1, 1997: a rider may not compete at the same horse show in any hunter or equitation class in which the jumps exceed three feet, three inches (3 3 ). To be shown over a minimum of eight fences not to exceed 3 in height, spread not to exceed fence height. Only one rider per pony. Four (4) competitors to fill the class. Three (3) competitors must complete the course. Judges may ask contestants to perform USEF tests All riders are required to show at a walk, trot, and canter both ways of the ring. The flat phase shall count 50%. Class to be judged on seat, hands, guidance, and control of the mount throughout. Contestants in the NCHJA Equitation on Ponies Class are not eligible for the E.J. Haun Memorial Medal Class at the same show. BRYAN JONES MEMORIAL MEDAL CLASS Open to amateur Senior members of the NCHJA. To be shown over a hunter type course of not less than eight fences 3 in height and one-third of the obstacles must be oxers. The course must include at least one change of lead and two of the following: bending line, roll-back turn, or long approach to a single jump. Only one rider per horse. Four (4) competitors to fill the class. Three (3) competitors must complete the course. 25% or a minimum of three (3), whichever is greater, shall be invited to show both ways of the ring; being judged on seat, hands, guidance, and control of the mount. The flat phase of selected contestants shall count 50%. Judges may ask contestants to perform USEF tests PESSOA/USEF HUNTER SEAT MEDAL CLASS PRESENTED BY BECKER CO. Open to junior members of the USEF who have not reached their 18th birthday. To be shown over a course of not less than 8 obstacles at 3 6 which must include one combination including one change of direction (change of lead) after the first fence. In CT, NJ, NY a rider must win 4 blues; in MA, PA, RI three blues; in DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, MI & OH two blues; in all other states, Canada & Puerto Rico one blue to qualify for the final ride-off at a specified show at the end of the season. On qualifying, a rider will receive a silver medal, an embossed certificate will be presents for preliminary wins. Two or more test of the top four competitors are required. Tests Only one rider per horse. To fill a class, six competitors must complete the course (five in Alaska and Hawaii). ASPCA HORSEMANSHIP CLASS Open to Junior Riders who have not reached their 18th birthday. Rider and trainer must be current members of the ASPCA/NHSAA, and must show their ASPCA numbers on the entry blank. All contestants are required to perform over at least eight fences at 3 6 with or without wings. A minimum of twelve (12) riders, if available, are required to show at a walk, trot and canter. To be judged on seat, hands, guidance and control of mount. The Under Saddle performance of those riders selected to show under saddle shall count 50%. Only one rider per horse Judges may ask contestants to perform USEF tests To fill a class six (6) competitors must complete the course. SCHJA GOVERNOR S EQUITATION CLASS Open to Junior members of the SCHJA and may be ridden on a horse or pony. Only one rider per horse or pony. To be shown over a modified hunter course of 8 fences with fences set at 3. The course must include a combination which counts as one fence, at least two changes of direction, and two spread fences There must be five exhibitors to fill the class. Four or more riders must return for additional flat work at a walk, trot and canter. To be judged on seat, hands, guidance and control of mount. The under saddle performance shall count 25%. USEF PLATINUM PERFORMANCE TALENT SEARCH Open to Junior/Young riders who are members of the Federation, who have not reached their 21st birthday under Federation rules. Competitors must use the same horse in both phases. Competitors may ride stallions. The jumping phase of the class shall be over a course of at least ten fences from 3 6 to 3 9 in height with spreads to five feet. Each course must contain no fewer than three fences set at 3 9 in height. The course must include a double and a triple combination, or 3 doubles. Additional spread fences are required elsewhere on the course and an obstacle with water is recommended. The course should be of the type used in a Junior or Preliminary Jumper class. In the flat phase, riders will show as a group at the working walk, the working trot sitting, the working trot rising, as well as showing a lengthening of stride; the working canter, and the working canter showing a lengthening of stride and the working canter on the counter lead. Judges may require additional tests

12 Equitation Medal Classes WASHINGTON INTERNATIONAL EQUITATION CLASSIC - COMPETING FOR THE CAPITAL CUP Conventional tack per USEF Article Only running martingales used in the conventional manner are permitted in the Jumper Phase. Boots and conservative colored bandages are permitted in both phases. Hunter Phase: To be shown over a minimum of 8 jumps at 3 6. It is recommended that the course be a straightforward hunter course consisting of natural jumps, including a combination, hunter lines, and a long approach to a single jump. A numerical score will be given for the first round only. Further testing will be optional; USEF tests Jumper Phase: The course should be of the type used in a Junior or Preliminary Jumper competition. To be shown over a minimum of 10 jumps at Level 3. A minimum of two double or one triple combination are required. There must be at least two changes of direction after the first fence. In addition, at least two of the following are required and more are recommended: vertical - no ground lines; liver pool; narrow jump - minimum width 8 ; one or more of the following - triple bar, swedish oxer, fan jump. Further testing will be optional; USEF tests WASHINGTON INTERNATIONAL PONY EQUITATION CLASSIC Open to Junior members of the USEF mounted on ponies. To be shown over a course of not less than 6 obstacles at the respective pony height. The judge will select riders to return to show at a walk, trot and canter and to perform any additional test at the judge s discretion. Finals will be held at the Washington International Horse Show. EQUISPORT USEF PONY MEDAL Open to Junior Active Members of the USEF who have not yet reached their 18th birthday, on ponies 14.2 hands and under. No Junior over 12 years of age may compete on a small pony. No Junior over 14 years of age may compete on a medium pony. Riders entered in this class cannot cross enter into a USEF Medal Class at the same competition. Suitability of a pony to rider will be emphasized. To be shown over a course of not less than six (6) obstacles 2 3 for ponies not exceeding 12.2 hands; 2 6 for ponies over 12.2 hands and not exceeding 13.2 hands; and 3 for ponies over 13.2 hands. If an in and out is used, the suggested distance for small ponies is 20, for medium ponies 22, and for large ponies 24. The distance must be altered for each height division Two tests (1-9) are required during the first round. Only one rider per pony. To fill a class six (6) competitors must complete the course. USEF ADULT MEDAL Open to Amateur Senior Members of USEF. Only one rider per horse. To be shown over a course of not less than eight obstacles at 3 3.
