Sand Footing in all rings Show Ring 250 x 160 Schooling Ring 200 x 125 The Colonial Classic Horse Show is a local champions' finals for local exhibitors. Launched in 2014, the Colonial Classic Horse show is a resounding success, drawing more than 420 exhibitors from 20+ local horse show series from six Mid-Atlantic States. Held at Harrisbury Farm Show Complex 8/30-9/1, 2019 The 2018 Colonial Classic will be held at the Harrisburg Farm Show Complex on August 31 st, September 1st, 2nd and will include Hunters and Jumpers. To qualify, a rider must be a member of a participating local horse show series. Riders - through their respective horse show series - accumulate points in their division or divisions beginning January 1, 2019 through August 14, The top three riders from each division will be selected by their horse show series to show at the Colonial Classic ***It is up to each rider to be familiar with the specs of their respective division at the Colonial Classic horse show. Specs for divisions at The Ridge do not always match up exactly with the corresponding division at the Colonial Classic. Please make sure you meet all requirements for the final. Please visit the Colonial Classic website at MOTOR VEHICLE STATEMENT Minors who do not have a valid driver s license which allow them to operate a motorized vehicle in the state in which they reside will not be permitted to operate a motorized vehicle of any kind, including, but not limited to, golf carts, motorcycles, scooters, or farm utility vehicles, on the competition grounds of licensed competitions. Minors who have a valid temporary license may operate the above described motorized vehicle as long as they are accompanied by an adult with a valid driver s license. The parent(s), legal guardian(s), or individual who signs the entry blank as a parent or guardian of a minor operating a motorized vehicle in violation of this rule are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or actions resulting from that operation. Violations of this rule will be cause for sanctions against the parent(s), an/or trainer(s) who are responsible for the child committing the offense. Penalties may include exclusion of the child, parent(s), guardian(s), and/or trainer(s) from the competition grounds for the remainder of the competition and charges being filed against any of the above individuals in the accordance with Chapter 6. Wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt from the rule.

3 RULES AND REGULATIONS: 1. Pre-entries will be accepted until 12:00 noon the day before the show. 2. Entries received after 12 noon the day before the show will be charged a $25 post-entry fee. An additional $25 fee will be incurred for riders showing in a class in which they are not entered. $25 Scratch Fee (day of only). 3. A $30.00 EMT and $30.00 Office Fee will be charged to all entries at each show. Nomination and Class Fees are indicated with class descriptions. $20 Schooling Fee will be charged to all hunter/equitation horses the day of the event. Ticketed warmups $40 the day prior to the event. 4. If there are fewer than 14 entries in a class offering $5000 or more in Prize Money, the class will be held as a sweepstakes with entry fees combined to make the purse. I there are fewer than 8 entries in a class offering $2500 or less in prize money, the class will be held as a sweepstakes with entry fees combined to make the purse. Money will be paid as follows: 1st - 30%, 2nd - 22%, 3rd - 18%, 4th 12%, 5th 10%, 6th 8% Exception: M&S Children s and Adult Classics will pay full prize money with 3 or more entries. 5. Prize money will be applied to show account. If additional prize money needs to be issued, it will be mailed within 30 days. In order for Prize Money to be awarded, Prize Money Payee information MUST be provided including name, address and social security or tax id number. It is the sole responsibility of the exhibitor to provide this information on the entry blank. Incomplete or missing information will result in prize money not being issued. Any Prize Money check is non-negotiable after 60 days and will be considered null and void and stop payment will be issued by the horse show s bank. A completed W-9 needs to be on file with show management. 6. Any open invoices will be closed by office staff at the end of the show with the method of payment holding the entry. It is the exhibitor s responsibility to review their bill and resolve any discrepancies within one hour of the show ending. If disputes are not negotiated within this time frame the bill stands without further review. All entries not paid at the horse show will incur a $50 late payment fee. A charge of $75 will be imposed on all returned checks. Any and all costs incurred to collect unpaid funds are the responsibility of the obligated party. 7. No exhibitor numbers will be issued without payment being secured. Open check or credit card number must be included. 8. Credit cards may be used for payment of entries. A 4% convenience fee will be added to the entry total if this option is exercised. 9. All riders must wear proper attire and protective headgear at all times while mounted. 10. All shows are presented by The Ridge Grand Prix Tour Group, LLC. The Ridge Farm, The Ridge South LLC, its employees, representatives, host property owners, Nona Garson, George D Ambrosio, or any member of the show committee will not be held responsible for any accident, loss, theft or damage at the show. It shall be the condition of every exhibitor to hold the same blameless or harmless for any accident or loss. 11. The committee reserves the right to cancel, combine, or substitute classes at their discretion. The show reserves the right to vary the officials if necessary. 12. Schooling will be permitted only in areas provided by the committee and back numbers must be issued and worn. 13. A jump order will be established at the in gate with the starter. 14. All pets must be kept on a leash at all times. 15. The show committee reserves the right to refuse any entry and return any fees paid prior to the start of the show without any financial obligation or liability. The committee further has the authority to remove anyone or any horse from the show grounds. 16. Sharps containers will be located at the secretary stand. 17. Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF Rulebook, NAL, Marshall & Sterling League, WIHS, SEMF, Colonial Classic, or any other organization we are offering qualifying classes for, as applicable will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith. 18. Stalls, if available, will be 10 by 10 temporary stalls with doors. $200 per week or $125 for a day stall. Bedding is available at an additional cost. Stabling fees are subject to Florida sales tax. Hay & Bedding available 8:00am to 5:00pm please order at show office.
