Trainer Mr C Waller was advised that a three month embargo from racing would be imposed and Lady Le Fay will be required to gallop before Stewards or barrier trial before racing again. RACE 4 Lidoran Group Handicap 1200m Chamarel stable representative Mr B Widdup reported that Chamarel had pulled up well. RACE 9 Vincents Forensic Accounting Handicap 1350m Murvate bled from one nostril. Trainer Mr C Waller was advised that Murvate will be required to gallop before Stewards or barrier trial before racing again. Tree Of Jesse stable representative Mr M Dilmi reported that Tree Of Jesse had pulled up well. A veterinary inspection, including a lung washed performed yesterday, was clear of any abnormalities. BROADMEADOW (Beaumont Track): Saturday, 31 October 2015 RACE 5 The Garis Group Fillies & Mares Maiden Plate 1350m Flaunting bled from one nostril. Trainer Mr C Waller was advised that Flaunting will be required to gallop before Stewards or barrier trial before racing again. LATE RIDING CHANGES: As S Clipperton was overweight, the Stewards permitted the following rider substitution. S Clipperton was fined the sum of $200 under AR120(b). Race 5 Super Force J Ford LATE WITHDRAWALS: Due to applications to withdraw on the grounds of the amended track ratings, the Stewards permitted the following withdrawals: Race 9 Race 10 Race 10 Invitations at 1.07pm Cauthen s Power at 1.50pm Shout To The Top at 1.53pm RACE 1 TAB More Than Just Winning Plate 1800m Catastrophe Kiss at the 500m became unbalanced when bumped by Crosley Hotshot, which shifted out.

2 Crosley Hotshot on straightening was disappointed for a run between Speed Princess and Reckless Russell before shifting out a short distance later, again bumping Reckless Russell as it obtained a clear run to that colt's inside. Superbee when questioned, rider T Angland stated that stepping up in distance today, Superbee took some time to settle. He added that after being taken out rounding the home turn by The Weald, his mount took some time to balance and ran on only fairly. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer Mr J Thompson expressed disappointment with the performance and undertook to report back to the Stewards on the condition of Superbee subsequent to the race. The Weald when questioned, rider J Parr stated the colt was never travelling strongly and did not respond to his riding in the straight. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stable representative Mr B Widdup stated that in his opinion the colt was not genuine and undertook to report back if there was anything amiss with The Weald subsequent to the race. Allision when questioned, rider S Clipperton stated that he followed Catastrophe Kiss into the straight and when unable to push out The Weald, became unbalanced on the home turn and finished the race off only fairly. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stable representative Mr B Widdup stated that he was not disappointed with the effort of Allision as it was disappointed for a run and lost momentum on the home turn. Cash Strapped App L Grace, rider of fifth placegetter Cash Strapped, was reminded of his obligation to ride his mounts out right to the line. Speed Princess blundered on jumping. A post race veterinary examination revealed the filly to have quartered its off fore heel. RACE 2 Quayclean Handicap 1400m Veravarti change of tactics to be ridden further back; settled back. Veravarti jumped awkwardly and made contact with the inside of its barrier. Veravarti overraced in the early stages. When questioned, rider C Reith stated that his instructions had been to ride the filly quietly, but with the pace slow early, and caught four wide, Veravarti was not suited as it had to be dragged back to the rear of the field to get closer to the rail. A post race veterinary examination revealed a speedy cut to the off hind pastern. Stable representative Ms S Marsham stated that the tactic of going back today was not successful in a slowly run race and undertook to report back on the condition of the filly subsequent to the race. Nagging rider J Ford stated his mount overraced at the rear of the field in a slowly run race. He added that Nagging was hampered passing the 300m when Francais was taken out by Miss Antaeus, which in turn was taken out by Rosaleisha and in the circumstances he was not too disappointed with the performance. Sheilarized overraced in the early and middle stages. RACE 3 McGrath Estate Agents Act Handicap 1400m Trajectory permission was given for trainer D Williams to delay the declaration of J Ford as the rider until this morning due to no suitable senior riders being available. Change of tactics to be ridden quieter; settled back. Esteban jumped away awkwardly and overraced in the early stages. Esteban was briefly hampered approaching the 400m when Of The Realm was taken out by Boaz. Be Like Dad was hampered on jumping away when Serve And Volley shifted out. Most Exalted was slow to begin and overraced in the early stages. Static Lift overraced in the early stages. Static Lift, on the home turn, was steadied to avoid the heels of Biscuit as that runner commenced to give ground.

3 Ideal Express brushed the running rail linking up with the course proper at the 1000m. So Willie was inclined to lay in under pressure in the straight. Boaz on straightening had to be checked off the heels of Biscuit. Rider M Bell reported that after the incident on straightening, Boaz could not pick up its momentum again and was disappointing. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Imperator Augustus when questioned regarding the improved performance of the colt, trainer Mr J Thompson advised that the Imperator Augustus is bred to race over ground and that the step up in distance today and the addition of winkers were the principal reasons for Imperator Augustus' improved performance, along with Imperator Augustus deriving benefits from its first race start. RACE 4 McGrath Estate Agents Qld Handicap 1800m Bleiler change of tactics to be ridden quieter; settled back. Minh Khai knuckled over badly on jumping away, shifted out and hampered Myladyluck. Centerofattention was slow to begin. Lady Macan jumped awkwardly, then was bumped by Kontiki Dane, who rebounded off Kikongo. Lady Macan had some difficulty obtaining clear running early in the straight. Laugharne hung in under pressure in the straight. Chosen Prayer when questioned, rider S Clipperton stated his mount raced back in a slowly run race and did not appreciate the kickback from the deteriorating track. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Della s Diamond bounded over the crossing at the 1600m. App L Grace dropped his whip at the 200m. Kontiki Dane when questioned concerning the improved performance of the winner, Kontiki Dane, as compared to its 9th placing at Warwick Farm on 21 October 2015, stable representative Mr M Newnham stated that on that occasion, Kontiki Dane was pushed back into the worst part of the going whereas today it was able to take up a forward position outside the leader. RACE 5 Girvan Waugh Construction Handicap 2400m After further rain, the track rating was amended to Soft (7). Danjeu change of tactics to be ridden more forward; settled off pace. Zatopaz change of tactics to be ridden to lead; led. Shalmaneser when questioned, rider K O'Hara stated that her mount was inclined to lay in and was disappointed in its failure to finish the race off. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Jiayuguan when the pace steadied passing the 1800m, Jiayuguan commenced to overrace and Super Force raced ungenerously when being restrained off the heels of Jiayuguan. Rounding the home turn, Jiayuguan was badly held up on the back of Shalmaneser, which commenced to give ground. Jiayuguan then had to be checked across the heels of Uncle Sugar to get into clear running passing the 300m.

4 RACE 6 McGrath Estate Agents Vic Handicap 1600m Heysen was hampered on jumping away when Electrifyin' shifted in. Razzle Dazzle Rock was slow to begin. Near the 1400m, Razzle Dazzle Rock, which had improved through to lead, was bumped by Mackinac Island, which was inclined to lay in. Chestnut Road when questioned concerning the improved performance of Chestnut Road, trainer Mr D Pfieffer stated that the win today was somewhat of a surprise although Chestnut Road had performed well in its previous starts on the bigger Randwick circuit. He stated that at its last start at Warwick Farm on 21 October 2015, it raced in the worst part of the going, but any support today for the gelding was not stable inspired. RACE 7 McGrath Estate Agents NSW Handicap 1600m Liberty Island change of tactics to be ridden forward; settled mid field. The Iliad was slow to begin Liberty Island was fractious in the barriers. Near the 50m, was inconvenienced when Nazir (App T Marshall) shifted in when under pressure. App T Marshall was told to exercise more care. He was also spoken to relative to his arm being raised above shoulder height when riding out Nazir in the straight. Leonforte when questioned concerning the improved showing of the winner Leonforte as compared to its 14th placing at Warwick Farm on 21 October 2015, stable representative Mr B Wintle stated that Leonforte, as instanced in the Stewards' report, struck interference rounding the home turn whereby the gelding made solid contact with the running rail. He stated that Leonforte did not stretch out after that incident. Mr Wintle stated today he left the tactics entirely up to rider D Beasley, who elected to go forward from the barriers and race outside the leader. Mr Wintle added that furthermore today's softer going advantaged Leonforte in improving on the Warwick Farm effort. RACE 8 Schweppes Handicap 1300m Harlem Lady change of tactics to be ridden quieter; settled back. Zelda when questioned, T Clark stated that the only excuse he could offer was that getting back in today's soft conditions, the mare found it hard to make ground, particularly as it had been almost four weeks between runs. Trainer Mr L Bridge stated he was disappointed with the effort and would report the results of a veterinary check subsequent to the race. A post race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be displaying a mild case of the thumps and had speedy cuts to the near hind leg. La Speciale overraced in the early stages and had some difficulty early in the straight obtaining clear running. Passionflower was hampered and App K Jennings was obliged to stop riding near the 50m when taken into Like Xena by Sahara Chill (B Spriggs) which shifted in whilst under the whip. B Spriggs was reprimanded and told to exercise more care. RACE 9 Task Retail Technology Sprint 1200m Never Back Down was fractious in the stall, was unloaded, examined by the official veterinarian and passed fit to start. Concentrate when questioned, S Clipperton stated his mount was never comfortable in the going and did not respond to his riding in the straight. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stable representative Mr B Widdup undertook to report if there was anything amiss with Concentrate subsequent to the race.

5 RACE 10 International Premier Events Handicap 1400m Ready Set Sing had to be restrained off the heels of Finally Free shortly after the start when Ready Set Sing was taken out by Happy Partner, which in turn was taken out by Dane Slugger (D Beasley). D Beasley was told he must make more effort to keep his mount straight. Dan Slugger D Beasley explained his mount raced ungenerously in the early stages. Fortune Patch rider C Reith stated his mount travelled well in a solidly run race but when asked for an effort, appeared not to handle the soft going. Finally Free an inquiry into the reason for Finally Free being checked and Fortune Patch being hampered on straightening was adjourned until 12 noon tomorrow at Racing NSW offices. Swift Lady rider S Clipperton stated that the run was most disappointing and identified that the mare was making a noise which indicated she may be getting her tongue back. Trainer Mr J Sergeant will be interviewed relative to the performance. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Race 6: Brazen Moss, Chestnut Road, Heysen, Invinzabeel. Race 7: Mendelssohn, The Iliad, Another Al. Race 8: La Muse, Little Red Shoes, Trois Choix, Sahara Chill. Race 9: Echo Prince, Concentrate, Isorich, Never Back Down. Race 10: Bracteate, Fortune Patch, Ruling Queen, Eye Of The World.
