7 Rules & Condition of Entry 1. The Victorian State Championships are conducted by the State Management Council, under the auspice of the Australian Stock Horse Society Ltd, and shall be run in accordance with the rules & regulations of the Society. 2. Entire colts & stallions two years old & over must be bitted at all times. When tied, they must be doubled tied, and/or hobbled. 3. The Judge s decision will be final. Any protest must be lodged with the show secretary, within 30 minutes after the event accompanied by a deposit of $100.00, which will be refunded if the protest is upheld. 4. The Committee reserves the right to cancel, combine or add to any class if it is deemed necessary. 5. The Committee reserves the right to refuse the entry of any person, and or refuse admittance to any person, as they deem necessary. 6. It is a condition of entry that competitors and spectators, whether actually engaged in an event or not, do so at their own risk, and will indemnify and save harmless The Australian Stock Horse Society, its Committee, Members, Servants and Sponsors from all claims, suits or demands arising out of and injury, personal or otherwise caused or arising out of their presence. 7. ALL HORSES are to be registered with the Australian Stock Horse Society Ltd., owned, handled or ridden by a current financial member. Current 2019 Membership and Registration Papers are to accompany entry forms, or the entries will be returned. 8. PARTICIPANT MEMBERSHIP (IF NOT FULL MEMBERSHIP) must be paid in full to the Australian Stock Horse Society Ltd Head Office before any person can handle ANY horse, in any way, on the day of the Victorian Championships. 9. All classes to be ridden in a plain snaffle bit. 10. NO Colts or Stallions are permitted to be handled / ridden by persons under the age of 18 years NO Colts or stallions are permitted in youth classes. 11. When competing in a Championship, exhibitors must wear the same attire as they wore in the class that they won. 15. All juniors under 18 years must wear ASA approved hard hats. No stallions or colts in junior events. 16. The Victorian State Championships are to be run under the A.S.H.S. Drug Policy. 17. There will be no refund on scratching s unless accompanied by either a medical or veterinary certificate 18. 8 Stable Hire, Yards & Camping to be done via Elmore Events Centre Facility Fee As part of the conditions of using the Elmore Events Centre venue, each competitor will be charged a $10 facility fee, which is only applicable on the day of said competitor s competition event/s. This fee is payable at time of entering the State Championship; for example if the competitor is only riding 1 horse on 1 day, then the fee is $10. NB: This fee is paid onto Elmore Events Centre, not kept by VMC. Stable Hire, Yards and Camping All bookings for stables and camping are to be made via elmoreequestrianpark.com.au Tel: Elmore Events Centre Conditions- Please Read Carefully 1. Please ensure that all rubbish and manure is disposed of properly. 2. The external gate is to be closed at all times. 3. No straw is to be used in the day yards all day users must remove manure and deposit it at the designated manure areas. 4. No manure to be put in rubbish bins. 5. No temporary yards to be erected. 6. No painting of hooves allowed in stable or wash bay areas. 7. All stables and yards are to be left clean at the end of your stay. Stables/yards not cleaned will be fined $50.
