COME PARTY (Renee Forrest) Rider explained that after steadying the gelding shortly after the start, it had over-relaxed and was uncompetitive thereafter. Due to the uncompetitive performance Trainer Mr D Harrison was advised that the gelding would not be permitted to start at prime metro meetings until it displays an improvement in its form. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer advised his intention to engage a Senior Rider and step the gelding up in distance for its next start. HE OR SHE (Shaun Meeres) Crowded monetarily by another runner passing the 550m. When questioned regarding the gelding racing in a more prominent position today in contrast to its previous starts where it settled further back in the field, rider advised that as it was slow into stride at its prior start before going for a spell, today he had urged it forward from the barriers and as it was racing first up without trialling it had responded very well and he therefore allowed it to stride forward. He further added that the gelding had got back further than anticipated at prior starts despite his and the connections intentions due to not beginning well and receiving interference. He also advised that when passing the 550m his mount was racing greenly and was unable to improve when positioned to the outside of heels when another runner made ground to his outside quickly and rolled inwards marginally. WHISKY MAC (Craig Staples) - Commenced slowly and steadied shortly after. Shoeing Changes: COME PARTY bar plates off in front RACE 2: TABTOUCH-THE HOME OF RACING & SPORT HANDICAP M RON'S CALL (Chris Parnham) Raced wide from the 500m. YSMAEL (Joseph Azzopardi) - Held up for clear running from the 500m until approaching the 100m. FLYTEGO (Patrick Carbery) Fractious in the barriers prior to the start. Bounded on jumping and lost ground. Rider advised that in his opinion the gelding had resented the nose band during running. Trainer Mr D Harrison advised that the gelding had got its tongue over the bit despite having the tongue tie fitted today and he would now make an adjustment for future starts.

2 Ascot : /2 Race 2 continued PURE GLAMOUR (William Pike) Held up for clear running from the 500m until approaching the 150m. RACE 3: VARIETY WA AND PERTH RACING HANDICAP M ORAHALO (Shaun O Donnell) Raced greenly throughout. Impeded for clear running from on straightening until passing the 200m. OUR MEMORY GIRL (Joseph Azzopardi) Slow to begin. Raced wide throughout. PEGATEGO (Patrick Carbery) Crowded shortly after the start. Rider that after being crowded shortly after the start and had lost ground in the early stages when failing to muster early pace and raced greenly throughout. Trainer Mr D Harrison advised that it is his intention to drop the gelding back in class for its next start. KIM EXCEL (Andrew Castle) - Raced wide throughout. SECRET NOVA (Ryan Hill) Slow into stride and was then ridden along to take up a prominent position. MISSISSIPPI SAMMY (Shaun Mc Gruddy) Rider advised that during the preliminary the gelding had resented the nose band and permission was subsequently granted for its removal at the barriers. RACE 4: VARIETY AT THE RACES HANDICAP M ALVARES (NZ) (Natasha Faithfull) - When questioned regarding the winning performance rider explained that at its previous start the gelding had pulled hard and failed to settle when positioned behind the leader, whereas today it was better suited by striding forward at all stages when leading the event. CHILLY RECEPTION (Jerry Noske) - Raced wide throughout. BROCKY'S DEAL (Craig Staples) Raced wide from the 600m. MASTER ROBSON (Kyra Yuill) Raced wide from the 700m. MANTANGO (Lucy Warwick) Momentarily impeded for a short distance approaching the 200m. REUBEN THE CUBAN (Shaun Meeres) Blocked for clear running in the straight. DIAMOND TOWN (Paul Harvey) Raced keenly in the early stages. Lay inwards in the straight when yielding ground. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer Mr P Bermingham advised that the gelding would now be sent for a spell. MINIMALIST (Troy Turner) Raced wide on straightening. RACE 5: HOSEMASTERS TROPHY M PASEO DEL PRADO (Joseph Azzopardi) Blocked for clear running over the final 150m. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer Mr T Andrews advised that the gelding would now be sent for a spell. DUBAI ESCAPADE (Lucy Warwick) Held up for clear running from on straightening until angled outwards approaching the 100m. STARLIGHT LADY (Shelby Bowtell) Impeded for clear running between the 150m and 50m. VITAL IMPORTANCE (Chris Parnham) Raced wide from the 500m. Lay inwards in the straight. ASK ME NICELY (NZ) (Shaun O'Donnell) Bounded on jumping. Raced wide on straightening. ULTIMATE SUCCESS (Peter Hall) Trainer Mr J Warwick advised that the gelding would be ridden in a predominately hands and heels manner and public announcements were made regarding this and were released on the RWWA Twitter account. AMBERS STAR (Colin Haddon) Pulled hard through the early stages.

3 Ascot : /3 Race 5 continued YOUNG LIONEL (William Pike) Raced wide through the early stages until obtaining the lead passing the 1400m. RACE 6: VARIETY WA-BURGESS QUEEN STAKES M SHENGMU (Lucy Warwick) Blocked for clear running passing the 150m. TOP SHOW (Steven Parnham) Raced wide through the early stages and had a tendency to pull hard through the early stages. KEYSBROOK (Shaun Mc Gruddy) Momentarily inconvenienced shortly after the start. Raced wide from the 600m. PRETE A PARTIR (Jerry Noske) - When questioned rider explained that the filly had raced in a more forward position than anticipated after it had commenced better than she expected from a wide barrier and as a result she was able to shift in and obtain a position on the pace. SILVER MAGIC SHIPS (Paul Harvey) - Commenced awkwardly. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages and raced wide throughout. Rider advised that although the filly raced wide it had been disappointing in its finishing effort. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer Mr L Smith advised that he would monitor the filly s recovery and report any abnormalities to the Stewards in the ensuing days and his future intentions. DANCING EXPRESS (Chris Parnham) Lay inwards over the final 100m. Raced wide from the 600m. SILVERSTREAM (William Pike) - Impeded for a short distance approaching the 150m. LIBERTY RISE (Troy Turner) Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination at the barriers and was passed fit to start. Blocked for clear running from on straightening until taken inwards at the 150m and bumped shortly after. RACE 7: AUTO CLASSIC-ASIAN BEAU STAKES M RANGER (Peter Hall) - Slow into stride. EXPRESS SERVICE (Jarrad Noske) - Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. BIPPO NO BUNGUS (Steven Parnham) Crowded and steadied at the 1200m when racing in restricted room for a short distance. BLACK HEART BART (Patrick Carbery) Impeded for clear running from on straightening until the 100m. MR UTOPIA (Shaun Mc Gruddy) Impeded for clear running from on straightening until passing the 150m. SIREEZE (Ben Paterson) Raced wide until leaving the 800m. TRADING DAY (Willie White) Trainer Mr W Wilson advised that he would instruct for the gelding to be ridden forward from its wide barrier to be positioned on the pace if possible and public announcements were made regarding this and were released on the RWWA Twitter account. WROUGHTED (Paul Harvey) Raced wide from the 500m. General: Jockey W White (TRADING DAY) was cautioned for allowing his mount to shift inwards approaching the 1300m carrying FLYING TIME (Shaun Meeres) inwards marginally, resulting in BIPPO NO BUNGUS (Steven Parnham) being crowded and having to steady his mount and was advised he is expected to be clear of other runners before shifting ground or further action could be taken.

4 Ascot : /4 RACE 8: WA DIGGERS DEPARTURE CUP M BIG HOLD UP (NZ) (Patrick Carbery) - A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. REFLECTANCE (Jarrad Noske) - A post race veterinary examination revealed the horse to be slow to recover. NEED A LIFT (Takahide Ikenushi) - Raced wide throughout. DARK DELIGHT (William Pike) Impeded for clear running over the concluding stages. DRIVE WEST (Ben Paterson) - Raced wide for the majority. FASHION PRINCESS (NZ) (Peter Hall) Impeded over the final 50m. ANGEL ROSE (Chris Parnham) - Commenced slowly. GENERAL Routine specimens were taken from all winners, and Race 7. Turrell advised that on return to the stables the gelding had shown signs of a virus and would now be spelled. ASCOT, Saturday 25/10/14 Race 7. SEACORP STARLIGHT-RINCE OF WALES STAKES 1200m BARAKEY Trainer Mr J Taylor advised that the gelding was found to have a virus in the days subsequent to the race and was now undergoing treatment for this condition.

PINJARRA PARK, Thursday 22/05/ Race 8. THE GOOD GUYS-MANDURAH HANDICAP 1200m RAJAH RAJAH - Trainer B Watkins later advised that the gelding has undergone a throat operation. ASCOT, Wednesday 13/11/ Race 5. WESTSPEED 3YO HANDICAP 1100m PEGGIE S LOUISE Trainer B Watkins later reported that the mare has undergone a throat operation.
