Entries will be strictly limited Pre-entry is highly recommended. After the closing date, additional entries will only be taken subject to availability. EXCEPT FOR STABLING FEES, NO CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS WILL BE DEBITED BEFORE THE SHOW. Refund of Entry and Stable Fees Refunds will only be in accordance with British Show Jumping Rule Any cancellations made after the close of Entry will be charged the full rate for any Stable Booking. Even though you will be asked for your credit card details, no monies will be taken, except for stabling, prior to the show To contact the secretary for more information please call or Fiona (txt only) STABLE BOOKINGS BOOKING: To include the nights of 5 th, 6 th & 7 th December 65 per Horse (BFEC Members) or 78 for NON Members Stables are available from 12pm on THE FIRST DAY OF HIRE NO LORRY ARRIVALS AFTER 10PM We have 60 Permanent stables which will be allocated first to sponsors and then on a first booked basis after this. Temporary Stabling will be available if required A 10 deposit per stable will be taken from you on your arrival. This will be refunded when you leave providing your stable is left clean. Any damage caused to the stables will be charged to the hirer. SHAVINGS, HAYLAGE & HAY ARE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE ON SITE FROM THE STABLE MANAGER THIS CAN NOT BE PRE-ORDERED!!!! STRAW will be available for all competitors stabling on an adlib basis. If you require shavings these can be purchased from stable manager. Extra bedding, this may be purchased from the Stable Managers between 9am & 5pm. Electric Hook up will be available for a cost of 60 EACH. This will be allocated on a first come first served basis. 5 Bury Farm Pro/Am Rules Team Up and Win a Big Bonus Prize!!! Riders will be paired together; this can be done by you at the time of entry or will be done randomly by the show organises. If we have an un-equal number of competitors in the Pro & Am sections then the riders not paired following the draw will compete as individuals and will not be eligible for the Bonus prizes. Riders can only compete as either a Professional or an Amateur not both. Riders competing in both the small and large tour classes can have a different partner at each level. Horse/Rider Combinations will be awarded point in each class as follows: 1 st = 25, 2 nd = 18, 3 rd = 15, 4 th = 12, 5 th = 10 6 th = 8, 7 th = 6, 8 th = 4, 9 th = 2, 10 th = 1 The total points awarded to each pair will be added together with the winning pair receiving the most points. There will be two league tables, Small Tour & Large Tour. In the event of a tie the results in the Pro Grand Prix will be decisive. Each pair will consist of a rider from the Equitility Unaff SJ League and an Affiliated Rider competing at the show. The winning riders in classes 7 to 14 will be eligible to compete in this class. Any rider that does not want to compete in this class or has won more than one class will be replaced by the second place rider from that class or the second class that they won. Pairs will be drawn randomly. Unaffiliated Riders to jump a course of 6 80cm Approx. 9 GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. The Show Organiser referred to in these Rules and Regulations shall hereinafter mean Bury Farm EC. Pro Am Tournament Jumping Championship will hereinafter be referred to as the Show. 2. Entries in all classes are confined to members of British Showjumping. All horses must be registered with the British Show Jumping. Unless competing on a Ticket to Ride, this will be charged at The Show, Show Organiser, Volunteer and Officials do not accept liability for any accident, damage, injury, theft or illness to horses, riders, owners, spectators or any other person or property whatsoever. 4. The Show Organiser retains as its absolute discretion the right to decline or exclude or remove any person or animal from the show or future shows or return any entry fee without being required to assign reason or being liable for any compensation. 5. Competitions The Show Organiser reserves the right to cancel, add to, or amend any of the competitions, as they think fit, with the approval of the British Show Jumping. 6. Smoking Smoking is not permitted within any of the showground buildings or stables. 7. Collecting Ring All warming up must be done in the designated Collecting Rings provided. Persons found abusing horses on the showground may be asked to leave. 8. Refund of Entry and Stable Fees Refunds will only be in accordance with British Show Jumping Rule Any cancellations made after the close of Entry will be charged the full rate for any Stable Booking. 9. Represented Cheques Any payment that has to be represented to the bank for whatever reason will be subject to a administration fee for each occasion. 10. Vehicles The Show Organiser reserves the right to remove any vehicle which is obstructing any access to or from the ground even if locked and unattended. The Show Organiser will not be liable for any injury, loss or damage occasioned by such removal. 11. Dogs Dogs are permitted in the Lorry Park and car park only. They must be kept under control at all times. If, in the opinion of the Show Organiser, any person fails to control their dog/s they may be asked to leave the Showground. 12. Prize Giving The Show organiser reserves the right to withhold prizes if competitors do not attend the Official Prize Giving. 13. Objections Objection should be made in writing in accordance to BSJA Rule 198. Two Show Stewards will be appointed to the Show in accordance to Rule Official Photographs Any photographs taken at the Championship by the Official Photographer may be used by the Show Organiser for promotional purposes. 15. First Aid A total of 4 per competitor per day will be charged towards medical cover during the hours of competition. A first aid show charge of 10 will be made for riders competing on all three days. 16. Vaccination Certificate All horses at the show must have a current and valid certificate of vaccination against Equine Influenza. There will be random checking of certificates and any horse found without a valid certificate will be asked to leave the show ground 17. Stallions No person shall allow a stallion for which he/she is responsible as owner, lessee, authorized agent or rider to compete or be prepared to compete, in any class without taking adequate precautions to ensure other persons are not put at risk of injury. 18. Close of Entries Entries will close on the official closing date. Should space be available late entries may be accepted. Please read carefully the General Rules and Regulations. Any person coming to the show or involved in any aspect of the meeting is deemed bound by the General Rules & Regulations.
