Faith's Encore has trialled twice very well on two occasions this time in - shown all the positives you want to see from an un-raced runner. Tim's Principal just the one trials and another that has show good pace and quickened nicely - from the on fire 2yo stable. PACE: Average. SELECTIONS: Able Touch G W Moore Tim Clark Omiya Bjorn Baker A Hyeronimus Has shown a bit of speed in its trials and got away to a decent lead - not overly strong late on each occasion. Strikes a hot race and place preferred this time. 3 Thai Boxing C J Waller R Hutchings Tim's Principal M, W & J Hawkes C Reith Very nice trial leading into this. Good pace and nice turn of foot when asked. Drawn a touch awkward - but that does not look a huge issue from this start. Hard to knock any Hawkes 2yo's at present. 5 Wine Bush C J Waller J B Mc Donald Just the one trial and positive enough - no pressure early and finished the trial off nicely. Knockout hope. 6 Hair Trigger James Cummings G Schofield 10 SCRATCHED 7 Faith's Encore P & P Snowden K Mc Evoy professional trials - has shown pace and acceleration under little pressure. Looks bombproof but does come up with the inside marble. Does genuinely look the horse to beat. 2 (1:40pm) 2 - Pro-Ride Mdn Hcp (1100m) Other half of the split 2yo event and again there looks limited winning hopes. Astley clearly the best of the first starters - draws widest - but no surprise to see him run very well. Jericho not hard to find of the raced brigade - comes out of the super strong Golden Gift won by Yankee Rose. Has trialled very well. Lord Kinglsey and Cadogan possible improvers. PACE: Average. SELECTIONS: 2-1/6-5 1 Astley J A O'Shea J B Mc Donald Loved its trial. Jumped in front - restrained back and worked home nicely. Draw is certainly awkward and stops it being closer to the favourite in the market. 2 Jericho P & P Snowden B Shinn Raise An Army C J Waller R Hutchings Virgilio K J Parker Tim Clark Cadogan Bjorn Baker B Avdulla Lord Kingsley Lauri Wray Peter Wells OK on debut in a good race. No surprise to see improvement here and looks at least a place chance. Didn't mind the debut effort over the 1000m at Gosford. Better for it and sure to be improved. Arancini should appreciate getting back on a firmer surface with the senior jockey on board - should control things. Closers in Hogmanay, Most Exalted and Sanaya all fairly awkwardly drawn - not convinced by any of them at the moment. Do they push forward on More Exalted from the gate? Happy to be with Arancini here - with Most Exalted the query runner. PACE: Below Average. SELECTIONS: 1/5-4 1 Arancini G A Ryan C Reith Very strong on debut when run down late by a subsequent winner. Never looked comfortable on the soft track last start - never in the right part of the track. Senior rider takes over and looks very well placed to improve. 2 Blackmaker Ms G Waterhouse Tim Clark 8 SCRATCHED 3 Dreamforce John Thompson T Angland 7 SCRATCHED 4 Hogmanay C J Waller B Avdulla Most Exalted James Cummings G Schofield Had the cold sit first up and just ground away a touch there. Obviously open to improvement but likely to give the field a start. The closer. Certainly disappointing last time - just battled away in the better part of the track. Possibly blame the surface and with the blinkers on from the outside gate - not surprised to see him ridden more aggressively. Looks in need of much further. Drawn the best of the closers but needs to improve significantly.

4 (2:55pm) 4 - McGrath Estate Agents (Bm71) (1600m) Tricky race for the Fillies over the 1600m. Strongest chances look the top three - Sheilarized, Themis and Raitza. They look to have a class edge on the rest. In saying that - there are probably four runners that are open to significant improvement. Via Napoli, Crystal Flute, Mount Omei and Baveno are still on the up. Playing very conservatively here and looking for value. PACE: Average/Above Average. SELECTIONS: Sheilarized Joseph Pride A Adkins Themis Ms G Waterhouse B Shinn Raitza J A O'Shea Tim Clark Via Napoli C J Waller R Hutchings Strong winner at Wyong with things in her favour. Back to the trials since and should be right up to the mark. Leads or tracks Savannah Rose and looks the one to beat from there. solid runs back from a spell building in fitness. 1600m the biggest query. Inside gate should be OK and can take up a prominent trailing position. Can win. Rock solid first up when given a good ride and just failed to pick up the race fit leader. Draws awkwardly here and likely to give them a start. Can finish off. Can win. Improved nicely at her second start for a good win. Looks likely to get the right run here and can still be on the up. Hard to line up - but tough to discount also. Chance - place preferred. 5 Savannah Rose G R Nickson J R Collett Crystal Flute G A Ryan K Mc Evoy Mount Omei C J Waller B Avdulla Over came a very slow start for a solid enough win. That form is impossible to line up. Has shown promise and the mile may be suitable? Another query in an open race. Got the job done in Melbourne last start in a moderate race. Yet another horse that can be on the up. Needs a clear career best to be winning this. Maybe? Place preferred. 8 Baubo C J Waller G Schofield Baveno J A O'Shea J B Mc Donald Green but solid win two starts back. In an extremely slow pace race last time and a close up fifth. 5 (3:30pm) 5 - Tab More Than Winning (Bm67) (1400m) Another race that unfortunately does not add up perfectly. Girl Sunday and Stradance control the pace - neither look overly strong. Swift Lady some hope of holding a position today - sharply up in trip with the blinkers on and looks a very interesting runner. Harlem Lady the closer with any luck. Miss Antaeus the other worthy of decent though. PACE: Below Average/Average. SELECTIONS: Girl Sunday G A Ryan B Avdulla Good effort last time leading all the way on the Beaumont track. Things to suit there and this does look tougher. Should get a comfortable on pace run again. Each way chance this time. 2 Swift Lady J G Sargent Matthew Mc Gillivray Loved the first up run when basically a barrier trial. Blinkers first time. Kid to ride is a major query. Outside gate is a negative for this one. Will need all the breaks. Classy type resuming. Quiet trial in preparation. Has some on these and late betting is probably her truest guide. Badajoz resumes - inside gate could be make or break - will need luck. Cruise Power too bad to be true first up - back in trip and fitter now. I Can Rock and Royal Tudor the closers. Will try to do similar here with the apprentice aboard. Early pressure the key. Will need inside runs but can be dangerous late with even luck. Talented runner resuming. 1100m is suitable and has a short sharp sprint when on song. Inside gate means he will need even luck. Forgive the first up effort and he is a very likely improver. Worth thought, especially if late money arrives. Talented closer fitter for the first up effort at Scone. Eschiele has had the three runs - inside gate here and should get a soft trail. Divine Sanction is just second - looks a big strong type and McDonald aboard. Braces may give them something to chase at odds. Old Habits and Morello come out of a very slow pace race and are open to improvement. PACE: Average/Below Average.
