P ony Club members must be Gear Checked by the designated gear checker prior to competing. R iders must wear a current approved safety helmet and riding boots at all times whilst mounted. A current E WA o r SHC (WA) H eight Certificate is a condition of entry for Official classes. H eight certificates should be available if requested for all competitors. R ider s age will be as at the day of the event. Proof of age may be requested. The decision of the Judge is fina l. Poor s portsmanship will not be tolerated. Failure to abide by this a nd any of our other rules may lead to disqualification and the forfeiture of entry fees. Protests must be made in writing to be referred to the Ground Jury. A deposit of $50 must be m ade t o lodge the protest and this will n ot be refundable if the protest is not upheld. Time limits as p er E WA rules apply. F irst Ridden classes are for children 10 years and under. Riders are required to ride off the lead at walk and trot on the ring. Ca nter may be asked for in the workout, however riders who are not c onfident to canter DO NOT have to canter. They will not be penalised. L eading rein events are for children under 8 years of age. A Novice is one that has not won 3 or more first pla ces in Official Show Horse/Show c lasses. Orange Grove Horse and Club (inc), it s Committee and Members do not accept any liability f or any accident, loss, damage, illness or injury to horses, owners, riders, spectators or any other p erson o r p roperty whatsoever. Entrants must accept that events may clash and it is up to the competitor to choose which event t hey w ill compete in. No refunds will be given. We are offering discounted entry for people who are prepared to help us run this compe tition. We need 7 pencillers/marshalls, P C Gear checker, Set up, Arena Crew, Pack away.
