Post Race veterinary examination of FABIO THE WEAPON revealed a fractured offside hock. After consultation with the veterinarian and connections the greyhound was humanely euthanized at request of connections. Stewards spoke with connections in regard the greyhound s performance and actions in the home straight. After viewing the video replay and considering submissions from connections, stewards deemed the greyhound s performance to be unsatisfactory and issued an endorsement against the greyhound under GAR71.
