1 FEIF INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF ICELANDIC HORSE ASSOCIATIONS Seminar level 1 FEIF - Seminars for Breeding Horse Trainers Level 1 and Level 2 "Training and presentation of breeding horses" Date: April 3-6, 2018 The seminar addresses riders who want to learn more about train and present breeding horses in a professional way and who are interested in further education and training and in an exchange of experiences. Ages addressed: years Qualification and registration has to be confirmed by the national breeding leaders (it is not possible to register without confirmation by the national breeding leader). Number of participants: max 3 participants per country (number of participants limited to 22 persons, distributed to the countries on first come-first serve basis) Duration: the seminar will start April 3. at 18:00 and end at noon April 6. Registration: Preregistration deadline: February 27, 2018 (after this date we can inform you about free places for your waiting list) Deadline for final registration of participants (with names and contact details mobile phone and obligatory): March 10, 2018 Seminar level 2 Date: April 09-11, 2018 The seminar addresses riders who train and present breeding horses in a professional way and who are interested in further education and training and in an exchange of experiences. Ages addressed: no age limit Eligible participants: Seminar 2 will be open for all riders of breeding horses who already attended a seminar level 1 during the past years. At this seminar there is be no age limit. In case there are places left in this seminar interested persons that did not participate in a level 1 seminar but can provide proof of experience in showing breeding horses can be accepted. Registration The seminar requires registration by March 10, 2018 (registration after this deadline only if places are available). Registration is only possible via your national association please contact the national breeding leader. EXTRA: Meistaradeils at Fákur (riding hall in Reykjavík that is on the Landsmót area Víðidalur)on April 6th the last day of the indoor competition: T2 and 100m speed pace (approx. costs ISK 1,500.-) and on Saturday the big stallion festival in the riding hall in Sprettur (approx. costs ISK 4,500.-). Please let us know with your registration whether we should book tickets for you (to be paid directly at the event(s), not included in the seminar fee), especially the stallion show is normally sold out. Accommodation Accommodation and breakfast will be at Hotel Stracta (standard rooms with shared facilities): The hotel is15km from the farm, 90km from Reykjavík. All participants will have access to hot tub and sauna that is located outside the hotel in the hotel garden. Breakfast will be at the hotel. Please indicate on the registration form with whom you would like to share the hotel room. Travel Arrival and departure as well as transfer to the farm and during the seminar (to and from the accommodation in Hella) and back to Reykjavík again has to be organised by the participants themselves. All registered participants will receive a list of all participants by to be able to organise common travel. Bring with you: Riding clothes (disinfected according to regulations), and writing utensils. Helmets can be borrowed from the organiser.
