Southdown 4. Wool Breeds 7. Natural Color 2. Dorset 5. Hampshire 8. Crossbred 3. Speckle Face 6. Suffolk Each division needs at least 5 head to show. 5 SWINE DIVISION Open to SD residents 21 and under as of Jan.1 All exhibitors under 8 years old must have a personal supervisor in the show ring. Hogs will be divided into four divisions ---Prospect Gilts (under 230) ---Market Gilts (230 and above) ---Prospect Barrows (under 230) ---Market Barrows (230 and above) To qualify for Champion awards in the market division hogs must weigh 290 or under. All hogs will be shown by breeds Each breed with at least five head in the division will have their own class; all others will be shown as Other Pure Breeds. Division Champions $100, Reserves $50 Breed Champions $50, Reserves $25 The show will be begin with Showmanship at 7:30 a.m. July 24th Entry Fee - $10 per hog and $5 per pen No pre-entry required. Fee paid at check -in. All hogs must be weighed and entered between 12:00 4:00 p.m. July 23rd All hogs will be released after the show. Non-Terminal show Health Papers Required. All Purebred pigs must have registration papers at the show to qualify to be shown in purebred classes, if not they will be shown in the crossbred division.
