2 RULES. Officials and volunteers: These people are essential in the running of our competitions and events. Please treat them with respect. Poor sportsmanship, verbal or physical bullying will not be tolerated. This may be reported to the relevant authority and disciplinary action will be taken where appropriate.. ompetitors will be allocated a helper duty on the day 3. Helpers must report to the lubroom to sign in for their duty. It is the rider s responsibility to check the list of helper duties which will be ed with the draw. 4. The draw will be ed to all competitors after 5pm on 6 th June ll riders must be gear checked before competing. E gear checking rules will apply for all classes and competitors are responsible for being aware of these rules. 6. ompetitors must present themselves to the appropriate ring marshal for gear checking approximately 0 minutes before their scheduled start time. 7. Riding attire: Jodhpurs, shirt (MUST cover upper arms), tie or stock, riding boots and approved helmet. Hacking Jacket and plaiting are optional. Young rider classes - riders must wear short boots. Dressage. Horses may participate in a maximum of three (3) tests on the day.. Horses graded Intermediate and Open are ineligible to compete in the competitive Preparatory tests, but may participate in the training test at that level. 3. Elementary (Walk/Trot) graded horses may compete in the Preparatory or Preliminary classes. 4. Series points will be calculated by adding the percentages awarded for each test in that level. 5. In the case of an equality of points at the end of the series, combinations with equivalent scores will be split based on the highest percentage achieved in a test in that level for the series. 6. competitor must compete in two tests at the same level at both competitions in the SPPHW Dressage Series to be eligible for the Series hampion ward. Showjumping. Each horse may complete two () showjumping rounds in consecutive heights only.. competitor must compete in the same height division at each competition in the SPPHW Showjumping Series to be eligible for the Series hampion ward. 3. The horse and rider combination that has the least penalties and completes the course closest to the optimum time will be awarded first place. (Optimum times will be ed with the draw) 4. Placings will be awarded based on both penalties and time. 5.
