3 ASDRA Purse Book 2017 General Policies: An entrant must complete the entire event to receive prize awards. An entrant must comply with all Race Rules to receive prize awards. An entrant must have all entry fees paid in full before the start of an event to receive prize awards. An entrant must have any delinquent (from previous events) funds paid in full to receive prize awards. Refunds for entry fees will only be awarded if the entrant notifies the Race Marshall before one hour to the start of the class. Any entrant that cannot supply a SSN or TIN will have 1/3 of the prize award withheld and submitted to IRS. Any unclaimed monetary awards will be mailed to entrant at the address supplied on they re W-9 form, unless prior arrangement are made with the club Treasurer. Any special arrangements or changes to the purse breakdowns will be available to participants at least 14 days before the scheduled event. Sponsored race purses will be paid out in full by distributing unpaid places equally among the qualified finishers of the class. ASDRA supported events will be paid to the number of finishing entrants only. Prize awards will be rounded to the nearest dollar amount. Limited Class: When the total purse is on limited the break down between classes will be: 4 dog at 23% (5.75/dog) 6 dog at 33% (5.5/dog) 8 dog at 44% (5.5/dog) When the purse is for both Open and Limited, 40% will put toward limited and 60% toward Open. Sponsor requested options will be honored. Open Class: If the total purse for open is below $5,000 the event will be a one-day event (unless historically dictated otherwise i.e. Orville Lake Memorial). And will not award day money. Day money may be awarded when multiple day purses are over $20,000. 2
