Rainier) and go east for 2.1 miles to the Pacific Avenue Exit. Go South (right turn at light) for 4.5 miles and turn left on 176th Street South head east for 1.1 miles. The Tacoma Unit will be on the right-turn down 14th Ave. E for entrance to the Unit. From Auburn & Puyallup Coming from Auburn take Hwy 167 South take Hwy 512 West Exit (just past Sumner)-from Puyallup just take Hwy 512 West. Take the Canyon Road/Summit exit and go left (South) on Canyon Road E about 5 miles. Turn right on 176th Street E. & go West for 2.6 miles the Tacoma Unit will be on the left side turn left on 14th Ave. E for entrance to the Unit.

Simmons, Cell SHOW RULES & REGULATIONS 1. This is an AMHR/ASPC sanctioned show - open to any AMHR/ASPC registered horse whose exhibitor is able to show proof of valid registration. 2. Horses will be judged and classes run in accordance with AMHR rules. It is the responsibility of each exhibitor to know the rules and regulations, as well as the requirements of each class entered. A copy of the official rule book may be found in the show office. 3. Exhibitors must provide a copy of valid registration and a copy of their Amateur Card (if applicable), with their entry form for each horse entered. Amateur Cards may be purchased from the show steward for $ GATE RULE It is the goal of the management that this show present AMHR/ASPC horses in the best light possible, be entertaining to those who have come to watch the event;, and expediently move through the class schedule for exhibitors. EACH EXHIBITOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MONITORING THE PROGRESS OF CLASSES AND BEING PREPARED TO ENTER THE RING PROMPTLY WHEN A CLASS HAS BEEN CALLED - WITHOUT PRIOR PUBLIC NOTICE. The gate will remain open for two (2) minutes after each class has been called to enter the ring. Horses not in the arena when the gate is closed will be eliminated from the class and entry fee will not be refunded. Breaks have been incorporated into the show schedule for necessary tack changes and to set up equipment. Additional gate holds not to exceed two (2) minutes requested by exhibitors, may be called at the discretion of the show manager. ALL GATE HOLDS MUST BE REQUESTED FROM THE SHOW OFFICE AT LEAST FOUR CLASSES IN ADVANCE OF THE REQUESTED HOLD. CONDITION OF ENTRY Every entry for competition will be under the jurisdiction of the Evergreen Miniature Horse Club (EMHC) show management, but the EMHC will, in no case be responsible for any loss or damage that may occur. It shall be a condition of entry that each exhibitor shall hold the Horse Show, the EMHC management, the EMHC and the Tacoma Unit harmless for any loss or injury to their horses or equipment which may occur from sickness, accident or any other factor. LUNCH & DINNER BREAKS No specified lunch break has been scheduled. Show management and judges will determine the progress of classes and announce a lunch break to occur as close to 12:00 Noon as possible. Classes will run according to the schedule unless stated otherwise in the class list. A dinner break will be called if necessary.

4 ENTRY PROCEDURES Entries must be on the official entry form for this show. Entry forms may be photocopied for use. All requested information must be provided for each horse entered. Forms will not be accepted unless they are complete and accompanied by required fees and a copy of AMHR/ASPC registration papers for all horses entered. Numbers will not be released without full payment of all fees. No entries accepted over the phone. Exhibitors are responsible for the accuracy of entry forms prepared by themselves or their agents. Gelding status must be shown on registration forms and all foals of the current year must be registered prior to the show. POST ENTRIES - ADDING CLASSES After the closing date for entries, a flat post entry fee of $20 may be assessed. Additional classes for horses entered by June 21 may be added without additional cost. Post entries or added classes will be accepted up to five classes prior to the class entering the ring - provided the horse is determined to be eligible for entry. Post entries made for the first five classes each day will be accepted up to one-half (1/2) hour prior to the first class entering the ring. Post entries made during the show must be made at the show office and will not be accepted unless accompanied by full payment. Management reserves the right to accept entries for unfilled classes after the closing date at the regular entry fee. There will be a $50.00 charge for all checks returned for lack of funds. This must be paid before entry numbers will be issued at this or any following show. SCRATCHED CLASSES - REFUNDS No entry fees will be refunded without a Veterinarian s Certificate as to the unsoundness of the entered horse. This must be presented to the show secretary before the fist class of the day. Failure to show a horse that has been entered constitutes a forfeiture of entry fees. In the event of the sudden illness of a horse after the entry deadline, exhibitor may substitute another animal at no additional charge. If done at the show, it must be done within the time frame outlined in the Post Entry section. Refunds will be mailed to exhibitors after the conclusion of the show. STABLING Stalls whether occupied by horses, feed, or tack will be available a $65.00 for the weekend which begins at noon Thursday July 6, 2017 and ends after the last class on Sunday July 9, Exhibitors needing stalls, who wish to arrive earlier or stay beyond Sunday evening, must contact the Show Manager before arriving. The charge for additional days is $15.00 per stall per day used. Shavings are provided and stalls will be bedded when exhibitors arrive. If additional shavings are required you will be charged market price per bag. If you wish you may bring your own shavings. There will be no refunds on stalls. Stalls must be paid for at the time reservation is made. Note: The entry form contains a space to enter the person you wish to be stalled near. Every effort will be made to meet your request. MEASURING All horses shall be measured in accordance with AMHR/ASPC rules. If your horse has a current year measurement card or has been measured within the last 60 days, please submit a copy of the card with your entry. All horses will be measured by the Show Steward with an official certified AMHR/ASPC measuring stick. All horses measured at the show will be measured with the same stick. Registration papers and other necessary

5 paperwork MUST be presented to the Show Steward for each animal entered at the time of measurement. Abuse to animals, show personnel or other exhibitors will not be tolerated & will result in disqualification & exhibitor expulsion from the show 2. Horses may not be kept in trailers overnight. 3. Horses may not be left unattended unless stalled. 4. Dogs must be on a leash at all times--no pets in arena or barn aisles.
