2 WHAT IS THE MITSUBISHI BIG SHOW CAMP HORSE CHALLENGE: IT S A COMPETETION BASED ON A CAMPDRAFT STYLE EVENT USING A HORSE & RIDER HANDICAP SYSTEM. RUN IN A ROTATION FORMAT. Slide 2 LEADING INTO A FINALS WHICH WILL INCLUDE TROPHY CARS.

3 HANDICAP SYSTEM: Slide 3 HORSE HANDICAP: #3 Horse is a horse that has not placed in a Draft, not including JNR events. #2.5 is a horse that has placed in a Draft but hasn t won one, not including JNR events. #2 is a horse that has won a maiden, maiden for maiden, encouragement, ladies, or futurity Draft. #1.5 is a horse that has won a novice Draft. #1 is a horse that has won an open Draft or more then one novice. #0 is a horse that has won more than 1 open Draft.

4 Slide 4 HANDICAP SYSTEM: RIDER HANDICAP: #3 rider is a rider that has not placed in a draft, not including JNR events. #2.5 is a rider that has placed in a draft & not won one, not including JNR events. #2 is a rider that has only won a Maiden, maiden for maiden, encouragement, Ladies or Futurity Draft. #1.5 is a rider that has won a novice Draft. #1 is a rider that has won an Open Draft or more than one novice in the past Five years. #0 is a rider that has won Five Open Drafts in the past Five years.

5 HANDICAP RULES & GUIDELINES: A Handicap will only be added to a competitor s score if they score 3 or more course points. A horse s handicap will lower by.5 every time they win a Big Show Camp Horse Challenge. A rider s handicap will lower by.5 every time they win a Big Show Camp Horse Challenge. When a competitor enters they will designate there rider & Horse handicap which will be posted on the Big Show Website. If a competitor has been proven too have intentionally provide misleading information regarding there handicaps (horse or rider) they will be automatically given a 0 handicap, and if already entered will be disqualified with no refund. 6 EXAMPLE OF A ROTATION 3 CAMP HORSE CHALLENGE: ( R3 ) EACH ROUND & FINALS IS A CLEAN SLATE: FIRST ROUND ROTATION TOP 40% BOTTOM 60% ROTATION TOP 40% BOTTOM 60% ROTATION TOP 40% BOTTOM 60% ROUND 2 TOP 40% MOVE TO ROUND 2 ROTATION 1 ROATATION 2 ROTATION 3 TOP 40% TOP 40% TOP 40% THEN THE TOP 20% OUT OF EACH ROTATIONS TOP 40% WILL GO TO THE FINAL. SO 8 COMPETITORS FROM EACH ROTATION WILL MAKE UP THE 24 FINALISTS. SECOND CHANCE COMPETITION BOTTOM 60% MOVE TO THE SECOND CHANCE ROUND ROTATION 1 ROTATION 2 ROTATION 3 60% 60% 60% THEN THE TOP 20% OUT OF EACH ROTATIONS BOTTOM 60% WILL GO TO THE SECOND CHANCE FINAL. SO 12 COMPETITORS FROM EACH ROTATION WILL MAKE UP THE 36 FINALISTS IN THE SECOND CHANCE COMPETITION. Slide 6

7 PAYOUT EXAMPLE ON A R3 CAMP HORSE CHALLENGE: Slide 7 FIRST ROUND FINALS PAYOUT: 1 ST will receive $ shootout car spot to finals. 2 nd will receive $ shootout car spot to finals. 3 rd will receive $ th will receive $ th will receive $92.00 ODDS & EVENS BONUS: This bonus will be paid on the first round only. It will total $ How its paid: $77.00 will go to the highest score in every block of 10 runs. These 10 runs will be divided into odds and evens. E.g. From 1 to 10 in the draw there will be 5 competitors on fresh cattle which are your odds and 5 competitors that are not, which are your evens. The highest score out of each 5 will receive the $77.00 bonus. This will continue through the entire first round of all rotations. This means that 60 individuals in a R3 will win a bonus of $77.00 each. If there is a tie the bonus will be split. 8 WHAT THE COMPETITOR GETS FOR THERE $77.00 ENTRY FEE: Guarantee two runs, possible three runs Two chances of winning shootout spots to compete for a car. Every competitor has a one in five chance of winning their entry fee back in the odds and evens bonus. Prizemoney pool will be divided between the first 5 placegetters of the Challenge. Prizemoney pool will also be divided between the first 5 placegetters of the second chance Challenge. Shootout spots The winners of the draft and the winner of the second chance Challenge will win shootout spots for the car (Number of winners will be decided by the size of the event). Slide 8

10 RULES & GUIDELINES: Slide 10 Rule 5 dose not apply to the 5 Event promotional series. 1: The same horse can be entered 2 times, but must be ridden by different riders in different rotations. 2: The handicap will only be added to a competitor score if they score 3 or more course points. 3: If a rotation is not filled, all rotations will be equal. E.g. if there are 360 competitors in a R4, it will be run as 4 X 90 competitor rotations, and the payout will be adjusted accordingly. 4: To move onto second round or finals you must have an outside score. 5: A rider can only compete at the finals for the cars if they and their horse have entered a minimum five drafts in the 12 months leading up to the Finals. These drafts need to be either a Big Show Camp Horse Challenge or affiliated drafts. 6: A horse and rider combination can only win one shoot out spot per car. 7: A horse can win a maximin of three shoot out spots per car, this means the horse has three different riders at the Finals. 8: If a winner of a shoot out spot has already won a spot on that horse, they will win prize money but that shoot out spot will move to the next place getter. E.g. If first place has already won a spot instead of first and second winning the spots it will be second and third. 9: All rounds and Finals are clean slate.

11 Slide 11 CAR SHOOTOUT SPOTS: Rules 1,5&6 doesn't apply to the Five Event Promo Series. 1: A car will be given away for every 50 shootout spots. 2: Shoot out spots will be awarded to competitors competing in R2 Challenges and above. 3: There will be a shootout spot given away for every 100 competitor rotations. E.g. (2 spots will be given away in a R2, 3 spots will be given away in a R3 and so on). 4: There will be NO ENTRY FEE required for a Finals Car Shoot Out Spot. 5: There will be a maximin of 50 competitors, competing for any one car. 6: A rider can only compete at the finals for the cars if they and their horse have entered at a minimum five Drafts or Challenges in the 12 months leading up to the Finals. These drafts need to be either a Big Show Challenge or affiliated drafts.
