EVIDENCE OF A NEGATIVE COGGINS WITHIN 12 MONTHS IS REQUIRED FOR ALL HORSES BROUGHT ON GROUNDS! RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. New Horizon Stables and the show management or its employees, or GHCTA will not be responsible for any loss or damage or injury to persons, horses or property. Each minor exhibitor must have parent, guardian or qualified instructor sign the release incorporated in the entry form. Each entrant is responsible for riding a properly conditioned horse in a safe manner. Management reserves the right to stop and eliminate unsafe riders or improperly conditioned horses. Entries that are eliminated during jumping phases for jumping penalties are required to leave the course and may not compete in any remaining jumping phase. Schooling under the supervision of a qualified instructor will be allowed after the conclusion of the competition upon notifying management. 2. Properly fitting helmet with permanent harness & boots with heels required whenever mounted. Numbers must be worn and clearly visible. 3. Unless otherwise stipulated the competitions will be conducted in accordance with the rules of the United States Eventing Association as described in the current rule book. 4. Ribbons will be awarded through sixth place. Divisions with sufficient entries will be split into sections. 5. Entry fees are $85 for Combined Tests plus a mandatory $1.00 starter fee to GHCTA (dressage & stadium). 6. Entry fees for all other classes $15.

Medic Fee $ Divisions eligible for Summer Series Awards: Open Intermediate, Preliminary, Training, Novice, Beginner Novice, Goldilocks, Green As Grass, Itty Bitty Jumpers, Schooling Jumpers, Jr./Adult Jumpers, Open Jumpers, Cross Rails, and Walk OR Trot. You must attend at least 2 of the Summer series shows (June 3 rd, July 8 th or August 5 th ) to be eligible for the Summer Series End awards. The final awards will be given out at the August 5 th show. Points will be given as follows: 1 st place 6 points 2 nd place 5 points 3 rd place 4 points 4 th place 3 points 5 th place 2 points 6 th place 1 point Points are ONLY awarded to divisions with at least 3 competitors per show. DIVISIONS Dressage Tests are available on the USEA website except for Green As Grass. USEA link is: GAG tests on the USDF website: Please note if you are entered in the Combined Test you MUST complete your Combined Test Show Jumping class BEFORE you complete any other jumping classes OPEN INTERMEDIATE CT Open to Horse/Rider combinations who have completed at least 4 events at the Preliminary Level or above. Dressage: 2018 USEF CT INTERMEDIATE TEST A Stadium: jumping efforts over a course of a maximum of mpm. Maximum obstacle height of 3 ft. 11 in. OPEN PRELIMINARY CT Open to Horse/Rider combinations who have completed at least 4 events at the Training Level. Dressage: 2018 USEF CT PRELIMINARY TEST A Stadium: jumping efforts over a course of a maximum of mpm. Maximum obstacle height of 3 ft. 7 in.

4 TRAINING CT Open to horse/rider combinations who have not completed more than 2 events at the Preliminary Level in the past 24 months Dressage: 2018 USEF CT TRAINING TEST A Stadium: jumping efforts over a course of a maximum of mpm. Maximum obstacle height of 3 ft. 3 in. NOVICE CT Open to horse/rider combinations who have not completed more than 2 horse trials at the Training Level or above in the past 24 months. Dressage: 2018 USEF CT NOVICE Test A Stadium: 10 to 14 jumping efforts over a course of a maximum of 600 meters at 320 mpm. Maximum obstacle height of 2 ft. 11 in. BEGINNER NOVICE CT Open to horse/rider combinations who have not completed more than 2 Novice events in the past 24 months. Dressage: 2018 USEF CT BEGINNER NOVICE TEST B. Test may NOT be 'called'. Stadium: 10 to 12 jumping efforts over a course of a maximum of 600 meters at 300 mpm. (No time penalties) Maximum obstacle height of 2ft. 7 in. GOLDILOCKS CT Open to horse/rider combinations who have not completed more than 2 Beginner Novice events in the past 24 months. Dressage: 2018 USEF CT BEGINNER NOVICE TEST A. Test may be called. Stadium: 10 to 12 jumping efforts over a course of a maximum of 600 meters. (No time penalties). Maximum obstacle height of 2ft. 3in. GREEN AS GRASS CT Open to horses that have not competed at the Beginner Novice level or above. Walk OR Trot Figure 8 LEAD LINE 38. Open to Jr. riders. RIDE A BUCK 39. Open to Jr. and Amateur riders. Ride with a dollar bill under your knee Walk, Trot, Canter and maybe Hand Gallop. Whoever has the dollar left under your knee at the end takes all of the money.

6 RIDE FOR WINE 40. Open to All Riders 21 years and older. Walk, Trot and Canter with a wine glass full of wine (well of course we won t waste good wine so water will be provided). Whoever spills the LEAST amount WINS 2 bottles of wine. EGG AND SPOON 41. Open to Jr. and Amateur riders. Whoever gets the egg to the bucket the fastest WINS. FOR OUR NON-RIDING JR S APPLE BOBBING Apples can be bobbed for and given to the horses or eaten by you, but whoever bobs and gets the Golden Apple will receive a very special prize. All changes must be cleared with the show office before the rider begins the competition.
