8 ELITE SUCCESS 2017 was another successful year for the Elite Karate Club with many of the children passing their gradings and achieving new coloured belts. We are hoping that students will compete at National and International levels, and are aiming for some of them to be picked to fight for England in the World Championships this year in Dundee. To prepare the students we have had extra fighting sessions and the club now owns safety matting and body armour which was kindly funded by the Greatwood Horseclose Community Centre. If anyone wishes to join the club they can go to or contact us on We re hoping to relaunch Green Dog Walkers on Greatwood Horseclose and look at ways to raise awareness of dog fouling problems in the area. If you re interested in getting involved in any way please contact Karen on: THE ESTATE ECHO
