Late entries will be assessed a late fee. Levels: Entries: USDF Introductory through FEI Grand Prix, including Open, Junior/Young Rider, and Adult Amateur divisions, as well as Opportunity Classes. Online Entries at Accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. One entry per horse/rider combination please print clearly. Completed entries (all three signatures, copies of all association cards and a copy of a negative 2018 Coggins Test (with horse's show name per USEF rule GR907.4) and a copy of horse s vaccination records (per USEF rule GR845)) must to be with entry. Entries must be postmarked by the closing date. USEF and USDF non-membership fee(s) are not required for Intro Classes. Horses are limited to a maximum of three dressage rides per day at Fourth Level and below (including Rider Tests) or two dressage rides per day above Fourth Level. Horses competing at both Fourth Level and Prix St. Georges, or their equivalents, are limited to two dressage rides per day. Horses may enter no more than two consecutive levels, Freestyle levels included, at any one competition. Dressage Seat Equitation, Quadrille, Pas de Deux and Materiale classes are excluded from the maximum limit of rides per day and horses in these classes may compete at any level for which they are otherwise eligible during the same competition. 3 Awards: Divisions (Junior/Young Rider, Adult Amateur, Open) will be run concurrently as one class. Show management reserves the right to split or cancel classes as entries warrant. Divisions will be pinned separately if three or more riders remain in each division after the split. When divisions have less than three entries, show management reserves the right to combine divisions and pin them as one class. Riders must clearly specify division choice. When no designation is made, riders will automatically be entered as OPEN -- exhibitors enter with this understanding and agreement. Riders may enter only one division per class. Ribbons awarded to sixth place for all classes. Trophy awarded in classes pinned to at least fourth place. For Saturday only, special ribbons awarded to high point rider in FEI Level and to high point riders in each division (Adult, JR/YR, and Open) of Training, First, Second, Third, and Fourth Levels. Excludes Freestyles. Sharps Containers: Definitions: Sharps containers will be placed in each stabling aisle. Per USEF Rule GR1210.4, Competition Management may fine any individuals including trainers, owners, exhibitors, or their agents up to $100 for improper disposal of needles or other sharp disposable instruments. Adult Amateur = Individuals possessing current amateur certification are only eligible as Adult Amateurs from the beginning of the calendar year in which they reach age 22. USEF rule DR Only active United States Equestrian Federation members may obtain amateur status. (Exception: Equine Canada members in possession of current EC membership may sign for USEF Amateur status on a show by show basis at no cost). Participants must possess current USEF Amateur status and qualify under the USEF Amateur rules. If opportunity classes at Dressage Competitions are restricted to amateurs, riders are required to have an amateur status with USEF. Junior/Young Rider = Open to Junior & Young Riders only. Individuals are eligible as JR s until the end of the calendar year in which they reach the age of 18. Individuals are eligible as YR's from the beginning of the calendar year in which they reach age 16 until the end of the calendar year in which they reach the age 21. See USEF rule DR Pony Measurement: Late Entries: Post Entries: Returned Check Fee: Non-competing horses: Confirmation of Entry: Payment: Please contact the secretary prior to show to set an appointment for measurement with show veterinarian and technical delegate. A measurement fee of $100 must be paid on entry. The measurement must take place prior to first pony test ride. $30 if postmarked and received after the closing/received by date. $10 plus normal class fee Post entries accepted ONLY if time allows. $50 for checks returned due to non-negotiable funds. $50 for horses not competing in the show. Must fill out entry form for number must pay office, stabling and noncompeting horse fees. No USEF/USDF fees need to be paid. Confirmation of entry will be ed to the rider. All addresses must be clearly printed. Make sure you turn off your spam filter for Fox Village. Payment is due at the time entries are mailed to show management in US funds. This competition accepts payment with personal check, cashier s check, money order or credit card (with additional processing fee). Entries not accompanied by fees will be considered late and not entered until fees are received including any late or post-entry fees. Please contact show secretary with any questions. Great American/ USDF Qualifying Classes: Please indicate that the class is to count for qualifying by placing a Q after the class number. Qualifying will not require a separate ride. An exhibitor riding in the Open, Adult Amateur, or Junior/Young rider classes will pay an additional $15 USDF qualifying fee (must be paid prior to start of the class) to have the score entered in the Great American/USDF qualifying division at that level. Qualifying classes count towards the 2018 Great American/USDF Regional Championships. Check the for qualifying dates, score requirements and locations of championships

4 Entry Cancellation and Refunds: Cancellations only in writing either by mail or prior to or on the closing date. 100% of entry fees will be refunded with veterinarian or doctor s certificate before closing date, minus the office fee. Every effort will be made to refund entries via the original method of payment. NO REFUNDS, for any reason after the OFFICIAL, PUBLISHED closing date, even if the closing date is extended. Exhibitors enter with this understanding and agreement. Ride Times: Unofficial ride time s will posted to after 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 23 rd for the January show and after Tuesday, March 20 th for the March show. It is the responsibility of the rider to inform show management of any time conflicts as soon as possible after receiving the unofficial ride times. Please DO NOT call for ride times. Official ride times will be posted in the show office by NOON the day before the competition starts. Arenas/Footing: All tests in standard 20m x 60m arena. In case of overfill, show management may elect to run some classes in 20m x 40m short arena. All arenas have sand footing. Heated show arena is 100 x 300 and is attached to heated warm-up ring which is 60 x 271 with a 60 round pen for lunging. Stabling: Show arena open for schooling on Friday from noon to 7:00 PM. Warm-up ring available except during ring maintenance. Maintenance schedule posted in show office. Permanent box stalls are 10 x 12 with doors and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, based upon entry received by date. Temporary stalls are 10 x 10 with doors. All horses must have a stall. Stabling requests honored when possible. Initial bedding is not included. Shavings may be purchased from show management at $9 per bale and initial bedding should be ordered with stalls. Please indicate the number of bags you wish to receive on your entry form. The bags you order will be inside your stall when you arrive. Exhibitors who bring their own bedding will be charged a $25.00 per horse disposal fee. Stall changes must be approved by show office. Horses found in an incorrect stall may be moved and fined $ This is for safety issues. Competitors are responsible for any stall damage. Stalls will be available after 10:00 AM on Friday thru Sunday (two hours after the last class of the day). No arrivals after 9:00 p.m. on Friday, unless show management is notified. Early arrivals and late departures must be approved my show management, and may be assessed additional stabling fees. Please contact the show manager with questions/concerns. SMOKING IS PROHIBITED IN STALL AREAS and on grounds outside the buildings

Every effort will be made to reschedule with priority given to any Championship or qualifying classes being offered. No refunds for cancellations due to hazardous weather, Acts of God, Accidents or Emergencies. Safety is always our first priority so in case of inclement weather, come a day early or stay a day longer with no additional stabling cost. Medical personnel will be on grounds. Ambulance on call. In addition to negative coggins and proof of Flu/Rhino vaccine, all equines entering Illinois must provide: a) certificate of veterinary inspection issued by an accredited vet within 30 days of entry; and b) an entry permit issued by the Illinois Department Of Agriculture. Entry permits are available by calling the IL DOA at (217) or by visiting and are issued 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There is no charge for obtaining an Entry Permit. Riders should be aware that Interstate Health Papers are required to be in your vehicle when attending shows not within your home state. Under the Equine Activity Liability Act, each participant who participates in an equine activity expressly assumes the risks of engaging in and legal responsibility for injury, loss, or damage to person or property resulting from the risk of equine activities. Per USEF rule (GR1301.6): Dogs are not permitted to be loose on competition grounds and must be on a leash (not to exceed 6 feet in length) or otherwise contained (in a tack stall/cage etc.). Individuals must not lead dogs on a leash while mounted. Dog owners failing to comply with this rule may be subject to penalty by USEF, as well as warning cards. Loose animals or animal s left in vehicles in distress, etc., can and will be removed, from the grounds at the owner s expense. Per USEF Rule DR129.9: Except for USEF/USDF Championship classes and for FEI Pony Riders, FEI Junior, FEI Young Rider and FEI Para-Equestrian Freestyles, in order to enter a freestyle class at any level, a horse/rider combination must have received a minimum score of 60% in the highest test of the declared freestyle level or any test of a higher level at a Federation Licensed or FEI recognized Dressage Competition or open Dressage class (i.e. open to all breeds) at a Federation Licensed Competition held prior to the competition where the horse/rider combination is entered to ride a freestyle class. A photocopy of the test verifying eligibility, or copy of the USDF score verification, must be submitted with the entry for a freestyle class. Protective Headgear: Music must be on good quality CD and must be presented to the show office at least two hours before scheduled ride. The schedule for sound checks will be posted at the show. From the time horses are officially admitted to the competition grounds by competition management, anyone mounted on a horse at any time on the competition grounds, including non-competing riders, riders on non-competing horses, and those competing in all classes and tests, must wear protective headgear as defined by this rule and otherwise in compliance with GR801. Any rider violating this rule at any time must immediately be prohibited from further riding until such headgear is properly in place. Qualifying will not require a separate ride. Qualifying Classes count towards the 2018 GAIG/USDF Regional Championships. Training Level Musical Freestyles are ineligible for qualifying. Opportunity Classes: Open to those new to showing dressage. Horses & riders competing in "opportunity" classes are exempt from USEF and USDF membership requirements, and do not have to pay non-member or HID fees or drug fees. "Opportunity" riders/horses will be allowed to cross-enter into other recognized classes at the show, but must pay USEF and USDF fees USDF Regional Adult Amateur Equitation Program: Classes #159 and #259 USEF Dressage Seat Equitation can be used as a qualifying for the new USDF Regional Adult Amateur Equitation Program. Adult amateurs may qualify to participate in the program by earning one score of 70% or higher, in any dressage seat equitation class. There is no qualifying fee, or special requirements for submitting results to USDF. For more information about the USDF Regional Adult Amateur Equitation Program, please visit the USDF website

8 Other Rules & Specifications USEF rules are in force from the moment show management allows access to the show grounds. This includes conduct, correct saddlery and equipment, and attire. Visit the USEF website for the most current rulebook, Numbers must be worn at all times when a horse is out their stall either being exercised or ridden. Liability Horses by their inherent nature present a risk. This show, the management, the USEF Licensee, and the facility will not be responsible for any loss or damage or injury to horses exhibited, or for any article of any kind or nature that may be lost or destroyed, or in any way injured. Each exhibitor will be responsible for any injury that may be occasioned to any person, whomsoever, by any horse owned or exhibited by said exhibitor and shall indemnify the show, the management, the show committee and volunteers, the USEF Licensee, the USEF and USDF, or any member thereof, against all claims and demands, of any nature or kind, that may grow out of any injury occasioned by any horses owned or exhibited by them, or arise from the negligence of the person in charge of any such horse. All horses exhibited in this show participate entirely at the owners risk. Neither the Organizing Committee, show volunteers and staff, the facility or its owners, any host GMO, USEF or USDF or their members will be responsible for any damage, injury, or loss to persons, horses, or property of exhibitors or spectators. All owners and competitors are personally responsible for damages to third parties caused by themselves, their employees, their agents or their horses. They are therefore strongly advised to take out third-party insurance providing full coverage for participation in equestrian events at home and abroad, and to keep the policy up to date. USEF MEMBERSHIP STATEMENT (GR901.9): Life, senior active and junior active members shall be eligible to participate in all classes at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions at the Preliminary Level or above and Combined Driving Competitions at the Advanced Level, Dressage, Reining and Vaulting Competitions and Endurance Rides. A nonmember may participate as a handler, rider, driver, owner, lessee, agent, coach or trainer at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions, Dressage Competitions, Reining Competitions and Combined Driving Competitions upon payment of a $45 Show Pass fee. Participants in the following classes are exempted from the Requirements of this rule: 1) leadline; 2) exhibitions; 3) games and races; 4) classes for 4-H members; 5) walk trot (exception: Friesian performance FR222) and academy classes (academy classes are classes limited to horses used regularly in a lesson program); 6) USDF introductory level tests, pas de deux and quadrille classes; 7) NRHA Endorsed Reining Competitions. 8) Opportunity classes, 9) citizens of other nations who have proof, in English, of current membership in good standing of their own National Federation, 10) USEA beginner novice division; and 11) assistant handlers in Dressage Sport Horse Breeding classes. NON-U.S. CITIZENS (AS DEFINED BY GR901.9) AND FOREIGN COMPETITORS (AS DEFINED BY GR828.4): must provide proof, in English, of current membership in good standing in their respective National Federation, or hold current membership in good standing with the USEF. MOTORIZED VEHICLES AND MINORS USEF Rule GR901.29/GR1301.7: Minors who do not have a valid driver s license which allows them to operate a motorized vehicle in the state in which they reside will not be permitted to operate a motorized vehicle of any kind, including, but not limited to, golf carts, motorcycles, scooters, or farm utility vehicles, on the competition grounds of licensed competitions. Minors who have a valid temporary license may operate the above described motorized vehicles as long as they are accompanied by an adult with a valid driver s license. The parent(s), legal guardian(s), or individual who signs the entry blank as a parent or guardian of a minor operating a motorized vehicle in violation of this rule are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or actions resulting from that operation. Violations of this rule will be cause for sanctions against the parent(s), guardian(s) and/or trainer(s) who are responsible for the child committing the offense. Penalties may include exclusion of the child, parent(s), guardian(s), and/or trainer(s) from the competition grounds for the remainder of the competition and charges being filed against any of the above individuals in accordance with Chapter 6. Wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt from this rule. Exhibitors should exercise extreme caution before medicating their horses and should be aware of the USEF rules governing drugs and medications. Show Management reserves the right to vary or add officials and refuse any entry for a cause; to disqualify any exhibitor and/or his or her horse for cause; to cause an exhibitor to forfeit his or her ribbons and winnings for cause; to return any entry and/or stall fee before or during the show for cause; all without being liable for damage or compensation. Show management reserves the right to make any changes deemed necessary for the safe and efficient conduct of this competition. ATTENTION COMPETITORS: Each competitor is responsible for supplying the show management with the correct and required association numbers of USDF and/or USEF for the horse, owner, rider, coaches, and trainer, before the day(s) of the competition. The scores of competitors who fail to supply correct numbers may not count towards national awards. The proof of these numbers must be in the form of either their actual membership/registration cards or a facsimile of them. Proof of membership must be included with entry form. Please provide the USEF/USDF Master Verification ( although membership cards or photocopies of cards are still acceptable. Failure to provide proof of USEF and/or USDF membership will result in competitor being charged non-member fees. Members that are unable to produce the USDF memberships cards/registrations or a facsimile will be asked to sign an affidavit and pay an affidavit fee. All entries are taken on a first come, first served basis. Some shows return late arriving entries after the show is filled, and some shows place entries on a wait list on an as-received basis. Please check each show for any additional policies. Send in the entries as soon as possible to assure entry to the show. Only one horse-rider combination per entry form per show
