1 2015 Montana NBHA Championships Sept 25, 26, & 27, 2015 Montana ExpoPark Livestock Pavilion Great Falls, M SCHEDULE AND RULES Office opens Friday at 10AM ime Onlies on FRIDAY ONLY: O signups begin at 7AM at the office and close at 9AM ime Onlys will run from 8AM-12 Noon, Arena available for Open Riding the 1st 10 minutes of each hour. $5 ime Onlys with 1 minute time limit. 8AM 10AM you can purchase up to 3 minutes, 10AM 11AM purchase up to 2 minutes. 11AM 12 noon is 1 O per horse entered. 12 Noon - 12:15PM is Open Riding. Arena closes at 12:15PM to prepare for races. PeeWee Race 1:00 PM Friday- One race only - $10 entry fee with no other charges PeeWee Class is 9 & under as of January 1, 2015 and may not enter any other race. PeeWee will run FRIDAY ONLY. Pre-entry is appreciated on their own entry form. If your child is an NBHA member we suggest they enter in the Youth class, not the PeeWee. Last Chance Qualifier/Warm Up Race Friday, Sept 25 th 2:00PM minimum $500 added Pre-entries strongly encouraged but may enter on site with $10 late fee. Late entries will remain open and added to bottom of draw. Race begins at 2:00 PM $30 entry fee per horse + $10 Arena Fee per rider. NO Dress code Friday Non-NBHA members may enter. Championship Weekend Office opens at 7AM Saturday & Sunday Open Barrel Race begins Saturday, Sept 26 8:00 AM and Sunday Sept 27 8:00 AM Event Order each day: Open, Youth, Senior OPEN 5D: $12,500 Added Money + 5 $1500 rophy Saddle Certificates YOUH 4D: $2000 Added SENIOR 4D: $3000 Added (Sr age for NBHA is 50 and over on of Sept 26 th ) Above races are wo Go s and Average with 40/40/20 split Entries must be postmarked by September 7, 2015 or $20 Late Fee applies. Canadian members it is advised you mail your entries by Aug 31 in order to assure they arrive by the deadline. Late entries accepted until 10AM Saturday morning and run at bottom of pre-draw. Office will open at 7AM on Saturday. Entry fees: Open - $120, Youth - $60, Senior - $60, PeeWee - $10

2 Office Fee and Arena Fee for Championship Weekend (Saturday and Sunday) are per person, NO per horse. NBHA DRESS CODE applies during Championship Races (Sat/Sun) - Long sleeve button up shirt with collar, cowboy boots and western hat or helmet. No pullovers or long sleeve t-shirts. hose in violation will be disqualified as per Montana NBHA rule. Refunds prior to start of competition by Vet or Dr release only (minus processing fee.) No refunds after you have competed in the 1 st round of competition on Saturday for any reason. Entry fee is for Sat/Sun combo, not per go round. Horses must be run in order drawn. Must enter horse by name. No Horse 1, Horse 2 etc *arget Race* (Optional) arget Race $10 entry fee - Prizes awarded for the most consistent horses entered in the two go s of Championship Races. Open, Youth and Sr Divisions eligible but must pay for each division for it to count. * (If you carry your times over to Sr or Youth you only need to enter arget Race in the Open.) Shavings will be available for purchase on site. RV hookups - Power available in RV Park and limited power at stall barns. Anyone hooking into power at the stall barns will also be expected to pay. A separate RV reservations form is attached and must be made by Sept 18th for reduced camping rates. hese must be paid for and mailed in advance to Montana Expo Park not NBHA M. Dry camping permitted in barn area. No camping or setting up pens in the infield as per ExpoPark rules. RV Reservations made on arrival will pay an increased fee of $10/day and are made at the NBHA Show Office. Any camping cancellations must be made by Sept 23 rd for a refund. Any cancellation after Sept 23 rd must provide us with a Vet or Dr release in order to receive a refund and will be handled through the NBHA Show Office. No entries excepted or placed in draw without fees. SALLS: will be pre-assigned. Stall reservations are made on the attached form and mailed to Jolene Burke. If you wish to stall next to someone, all stall reservations must be mailed together and we will do our best to accommodate. ANYONE MOVING FROM HEIR ASSIGNED SALL WIHOU PRIOR APPROVAL OF NBHA M OFFICE WILL BE ASSESSED A FINE AND WILL NO BE ALLOWED O COMPEE UNIL FINE IS PAID! ExpoPark employees are not authorized to give you permission to move stalls or barns as we are only allowed to use certain barns. Portable pens under extenuating circumstances only and with prior approval of NBHA management. You must still pay regular stall fee per horse. Violators will be held accountable. (his means no setting up your pen after dark and taking down before sun up!!! If you cannot abide by these rules please make arrangements for stalling off site. Stalling is limited to approximately 400 stalls and we ran out in Stalls will be reserved on a 1 st come, 1 st reserved based on postmark date. When we run out of stalls you will have to make stalling arrangements off site. King s Arena will not be available due to another horse event in progress. Silent Auction: All contestants are encouraged to bring an item(s) for this. Host Hotel: Days Inn - (406) has blocked 25 rooms available until Sept 15 th at a discount. You must mention NBHA Montana to get this rate. It is located approximately 3 blocks from ExpoPark.

3 Montana NBHA Board of Directors reserves the right to make individual decisions as the need may arise. Be aware that any rules not followed by contestant MAY result in disqualification. Decisions of Montana NBHA are final.
