2 All classes are open to Rhode Island 4-H members only. 4-H membership cards must be presented when registering. There will be a charge of $5 per class however, if you are only doing Showmanship, there is no charge. Class #22 is $10, all proceeds to the RI 4-H Horse Program. Preentries must be received by June 1, 2018 or there will be an additional $10 post entry fee. Entry fees are due and payable the day of the show. Entry fees are nonrefundable. 4 Please clean up after your animal. All areas must be cleaned prior to departure on Sunday. Proof of negative Coggins and Rabies vaccinations (within 1 year) MUST be presented upon your arrival to the show unless they have been sent to the show secretary beforehand. You will be asked to leave the grounds without them. The Cooperative Extension, the SRI Fair Committee, the Town of Richmond, the Washington County Fair Committee, the Show managers and volunteers, are not responsible for any injury, death or loss to horses, exhibitors, spectators or property. All 4-H riders, drivers and passengers must wear an ASTM-SEI approved helmet. Western riders and Saddleseat riders are not required to wear a helmet during fitting classes. No nursing mares or stallions are allowed. Dangerous, sick or unruly horses will be excused from the grounds. Horses that kick must be marked with a red ribbon on its tail. The management reserves the right to cancel, combine or split classes as they deem necessary. No tie-down/martingales used for flat classes.
