2 Jadwiz Racing Guide This guide is provided free of charge for new members and those looking to learn a little more about Jadwiz Racing and the ways in which it can help you with your horse racing and betting. This site deals exclusively in horse racing and no other form of betting. If you want horse racing form figures then this is the place for you, for betting on other sports then I would recommend searching our links pages. Our ratings and systems are exclusive and unique to Jadwiz Racing and by utilising this method we ensure that the information that you get is not in use by the masses. For example, our systems can only be used by our members where as a normal system is published and every man and his dog can use it. By the use of the methods I have employed for this website I have tried to ensure that my members get information that is not in general use by the betting public. To get the best out of any website you need to familial yourself with the layout and how things work and I hope this is where this new member guide will come in handy. Now there is no way that everything can be covered in this guide but I hope it will give you a few ideas. The main aim I have is for punters to take the time and learn about horse racing and use the information on the site to improve their betting. There are race day tips included with the membership and everyone loves a good one going in at longs odds. But for the pure satisfaction of winning on the horses there is nothing better than looking through the form and finding that small nugget of information that the betting public seems to have of over looked. Finding winners using the right tools will always give you far more satisfaction in the long run. The use of horse systems is not every ones cup of tea, but lets face it every time you make a selection you have use some form of system in the process of making that selection. The only difference is you got to the selection more quickly, and if its not well thought out you will lose more quickly. This is the part all punters don t like and is why they will then quickly move on to the next one, often to repeat the same process all over again. Where systems can come into their own is by quickly removing runners from the race and therefore creating a smaller race in which to study. With systems you will have to remember they all have a limited life span the same as anything else in life, once word gets around the value will very quickly disappear and here is a little story to let you see what I mean. Two people standing at a station, one a bookie and the other a punter. The punter says to the bookie, what price you got for a train to pass by today, bookmaker checks his little black book and finds one train passes once per year and offers him 50/1. The punter places his bet and a few hours later a train passes collects his money and makes his way to the nearest pub for the happy hour. Next day, the punter comes back and asks for the same bet. Now, the bookie knows that only one train passes each year but just to make sure he phones the rail company.

3 The operator tells him the timetable has not changed for a hundred years and there are no plans to alter it in the next few years. The bookmaker decides to offer him the same odds which the punter accepts, and you have guessed it another train passes by and he collects his money. At this point the bookie is not a happy bunny and phones the rail company for an expiation. They tell him that while only one train per year passes the dates do vary and on year one its on the 1st of January and the next its on the 31st of December, the following year it then reverts back to the 1st of January. Now while the bookie was technically correct with his odds the punter managed to find a way to exploit the system with his own system. But how long do you now think this system will continue to work, lets face it, the bookie is not going to make the same mistake twice.

4 Online Form Guide First page you see is the race details page which has a list of the days races on the left hand menu, first race is shown by default. This list of races in the left hand menu is shown throughout all pages of the online form guide so you can easily find and go to any race with one click. First thing you will notice is a message saying To get started select a race from the left-hand menu. This message appears the first time you visit the online form guide and as there is no way of knowing which meeting is first on the left hand menu so you will need to select one to view the strike rates for the course. This area shows the strike rates and profit/loss of the main sets of ratings at the selected course. You can quickly see which of the ratings have given the best results at the racecourse, in this case we can see that the horse ratings have faired best of all with strike rate of 26%. Backing all selections over the last few years would have broke even at sp, but using the likes of Betfair or taking early bookmaker odds which consistently return higher prices you would of no doubt made a profit. Conversely the jockey ratings only managed a strike rate of 18% with a loss of 58 points, which if we look at the far right column we see that this amounts to a loss of 25%. Moving on to the next section which contains the race details such as racecourse, distance, going ect. In the top right of this section you can see it says Write Up which when clicked will show the write ups for the horses in this race, all shown on one page. The write will give you extra information such as a change regular jockey, distance and whether the trainer is in or out of form. Also indicated is if the horse has fell more than normal which can be of help, after all, if it has a problem finishing races then it makes things more difficult. In the same section on the left of where we clicked for the write up there are two compare options, strike rates and profit/loss. Click the strike rates and you can see how the jockey, trainer and sires offspring have performed in different categories. These include age, course, distance, going, sex and month of the year. Moving left again and there is an option to print the race with any of the ratings sorted into order, this shows on a plain page and you print in the normal way. These print outs also contain our graphs which show how the top rated in each category has performed. Finally is the graphs screen in which they are shown in a lager size for a better view.

5 By clicking compare profit/loss you can again see how the jockey, trainer and sires offspring have performed in different categories, only this time the profit/loss is displayed. These include age, course, distance, going, sex and month of the year. In the screen shot we can see that Jamie Spencer has a good strike rate during the month that the race is being run and also on today s going. Looking at the column marked sex we see that L P Keniry has a poor strike rate, this applies only to the sex of the horse he is riding in this race. Back to the race details section and there are five print options and these will give a basic printout and allows users to sort the ratings before printing. So for example if you are using the horse ratings you would click print horse ratings sorted and all the runners are sorted by the horse ratings. Once the new page displays just print in the normal way. Moving on to the runners section and there is a standard layout showing last six runs, horse, weight, trainer, jockey and five sets of ratings. Ratings are sorted by default using our combined ratings which is marked with the letter C above the column. To sort by any other set of ratings takes just a click on the header of the column you wish to sort, a second click with reverse the order. Extra details about the runner can be found by clicking the horse name which will take you to the runner details page. On the runner details page you can find addition information on the horse, jockey, trainer and sire. In the image on the next page we can see the total number of races the horse has had together with number of wins if it s a course winner and so on. On the same screen there are three more sections like the one on the right of the next page which show the details of the jockey, trainer and sire. Unlike the compare screen we looked at earlier this section gives more details which allows you to get a better view of individual runners. Lets just say for example that on the compare by strike rate page the jockey has a 0% strike rate at say five furlong. Now this does not look to good but it maybe because they have not ridden over the distance. On this page you can see the number of runs along with the strike rates and profit/loss.

6 Race Day Tips This has been in operation now since December 2008 and the main race day tips page shows the selection with our reasons. You can also view previous results by following the link in this area, at the moment the results area just shows all selections and how they have performed at each racecourse. There will be a more detailed results section included later. This hopefully will pin point the area where our selections do best and in turn increase any profits. Printable Form Guide Printable form guide is clear and simple to use and now contains 5 sets of ratings with graphs. So whether you are in the bookies, pub or enjoying a day at the races, you will always have access to some of the best ratings around. We have produced our unique set of five ratings since October 2006 and you can see at a glance which is top rated as they are highlighted in green. Horse Rating This shows the level that has been achieved by the horse in the last two months. Sire Rating Shows how the sires progeny have performed over today s race conditions.

7 Trainer Rating Shows how the horses have performed for the trainer over today s race conditions. Jockey Rating Shows how the horses have performed for the trainer over today s race conditions. Race Write Up The write up will give extra information such as if they have been running in handicaps and are now switching to a non-handicap race. Also included is whether the trainer or jockey is currently performing above or below average. Graphs A graph allows you to see things that would not normally be visible with plain text. This is why each of our top rated has its own graph which shows how the trainer and jockey have performed when they have been top rated with that particular set of ratings. Their performance is measured by charting the profit/loss for each run when they have been top rated. To give you an idea of what you can see using the graphs compared to just plain text take a look at the example next page. Sire Ratings Top rated horse for our sire ratings is Dabbers Ridge which is trained by B W Hills (19% strike rate profit/loss 14.79) and ridden by Michael Hills (15% strike rate profit/loss ) While the text says the trainer has shown a profit of when top rated. The jockey on the other hand is showing a loss. But with the graph we can see that both made a loss at first but lately they are making a profit. Occasionally a graph will appear to show only one line this is because of one or two reasons. First, trainer and jockey have the exactly the same results or secondly the trainer or jockey have only been top rated a few times and are hidden under the other line. We will now take a look at an example race at Chester and see how things work (see sample form guide). The column with the letter (H) above it is the horse rating. The top rated is coloured green as it is with all the ratings. The top rated horse in this case is Hamalka which is trained by B W Hills and ridden by Michael Hills. The graph for the horse ratings can be found at the top of the right hand column but in this example is shown above. The write up above the graph says B W Hills has a 30% strike rate, which means when his horses have been top rated in the horse ratings column they have won 30% of their races.

8 Now, although the trainer has a 30% strike rate when his horses have been top rated you would however of made a loss of backing them all to a pound stake. The dark coloured line is the trainer and the other is the jockey. You may notice that the graph lines are not always the same length, this is normal and just means one has been top rated more times than the other. By showing the graphs it can give a better view of what is happing, rather that just the using the figures. In this case its basically down hill most of the way, most likely reason is that Barry Hills is one of the more popular trainers and punters bet accordingly. Now there will be other cases where by looking at the graphs you may find that the line goes consistently up or has been doing so lately. It may even show false profits. E.G. The figures could show that the trainer has managed to break even, but in fact he/she could of been consistently going down hill. They may have dropped to minus 30 and then got lucky with at 33/1 shot. By looking at the graph you would of seen things going slowly down hill then the would have been a very sharp rise. However, if the graph has been constantly going down hill and then there is a change and now there is a steady rise this may very well be of benefit. They may of changed their training habit or a jockey may suddenly of started to concentrate on sprit races, which they may be better suited. To give an example, if we now move down to the trainer ratings graph it says that the top rated is Time Control. This can be doubled checked by looking at the ratings column marked (T) and you can see that with this set of ratings it is top rated with a mark of 93.7 This top rated looks slightly more promising because while both trainer and jockey lost early on when they were top rated, lately they have been breaking even. Therefore using Betfair it would be reasonable to assume that a profit could of been made. There is also the chance that they may get a lucky big priced winner and even if they don t, you should be able to break even. Horse Racing Systems There are far to many angles for me to cover here but I will give you a few ideas and first will start with systems by numbers, this can be flat systems by numbers or jump systems by numbers. Flat Systems By Numbers helps you to get more information out of our individual systems by splitting each system in to smaller groups. By default the page shows the results of system number one which is our combined ratings, marked with the letter C with both the online and printable form guide. By analysing systems using this page we can find where a particular system does well, it may not have made a profit overall but under certain conditions will. This system shows an overall loss when all runs are taken into account. But take a look at the racecourse results and we see a profit for some of the courses. By clicking the header marked profit we can sort the results, a second click reverses things. Its interesting to note that three of the top six courses are all in Yorkshire with a high number of runners and show a decent profit for the system. Another area where there have been good results is on heavy going which shows a 13% profit for the top rated horse with our combined ratings. By using our systems like this and looking through different sets of results you can gain an edge. The chances of someone else using the same system are going the slim and with over two thousand to look through you are not likely to run out of systems.

9 To follow any systems just go to out System Watcher page and type in the number and the days runners are displayed for you. Top Systems By Race Category Top Horse Racing Systems By Racecourse allows you to find which of our systems has preformed best at different courses. Both flat and jump racing are displayed on this page. There are a total of twelve categories including Age, Colour, Distance, Going, Group/Grade, Hcap/Stakes, Month, Racecourse, Race-Type, Sex, Starting Price and weight. Lets assume you like your non-handicap races, finding a system to follow could go something like this. Navigate your way to our Top Horse Racing Systems By Hcap/Stakes and select Stakes from the drop down list. This will then show two lists of results, one for the flat and the other jump racing results. We are going to look at jump racing system number 1297, why not the top, I here you ask. Two reasons, first most will do that and this can have a knock on affect with the prices on offer. is a 36% profit. Second reason there were no runners for the above three so does not make for a good example. We can see that our chosen system has made 130 points which By clicking the system number all the days runners for the days racing are now shown. As we can now see we have all the details along with the days qualifying runners. Because we are following jump racing and on the list there is only one runner and that is Bleu Superbe which runs in the 4-40 at Ascot. Click this horse and you are taken to the online form guide where you can view all the race and runner details. Jadwiz Racing Systems These will make use of multiple systems all running together to make one large system which hopefully will make things more stable. Idea being if one system is having a bit of rough time another will be going well and therefore iron out any sharp rise or fall in profit. There will be no need for you to track each and every one of the systems in use as this will be done by an advance system watcher designed specially for the job. The first of these was the Doncaster System which was released just in time for the start of the new flat tuft season and got of to an explosive start with 120 points profit (see image next page).

10 When there are runners which qualify for this system they are displayed on the page much in the same fashion as the standard system watcher page only with the number of the system in the left hand column. When one of the systems picks a runner it is displayed along with all the other runners and due to fact that we are using multiply systems there can be more than one selection per race. How you deal with situation is entirely up to the individual, but I would think one point per selection would be a reasonable method. After all the profit has been made by each of the systems and trying to give one system preference over another may not be a good idea. Another idea may be to only back selections that have been selected a number of times, e.g. if its listed at least five times. Only problem with this method is the prices you are backing may not be quite as big as you may of liked. The next system will be the Aintree System which will be released in time for the Grand National Meeting. (above shows Doncaster system first day profits) Racecourse Specialists Horses For Courses we have all heard it and a shrewd punter will be well acquainted with this fact. They are fully aware that a horse which has run well at one racecourse may not do so at another. This is the same for jockeys as well as trainers who can and often do better at some courses compared to others. Basically keeping a look out for these can be of help, providing the horse is not totally out of form or running in an unsuitable race at the wrong distance. The same could be said for trainers who have owners who wish to see their horses running and may not like to travel. These types of horses will have their warm up races where the races best suit and then move to a favoured course when ready to win.
