2 NT Keno is an easy numbers game, similar to the lottery. You can play for just $1 and have the chance to win a minimum of $1 Million when you play the 10 Spot Jackpot. NT Keno offers a range of bets and prizes; you can choose your own lucky numbers or try your luck with a Quickpick. The object of the game of Keno is to select up to 40 numbers, from 1 to 80 and to match (or in some cases not to match) those against the 20 numbers that are randomly drawn for each game. STANDARD GAMES Choose your own 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 15, 20 or 40 Spots to play. The payout amounts are increased proportionately to the bet amount JACKPOT GAMES NT Keno Jackpots (6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 Spots) have a minimum value and continue to grow until they are won. 5 Standard Games and Jackpot Games are when you choose what Spot or Jackpot game to play by selecting your favorite numbers. Wins are based on how many numbers on your ticket match those in the game draw. 9 WAY BET Allows you to play more than one Spot and/or jackpot on a single ticket and game, similar to the Superplay, but where you can choose your numbers. Ways are created by combining one or more groups of numbers. Each way represents a separate bet on the ticket. You may only select ways totalling 1-40 numbers. It is not possible to have the same number in more than one group. Choose the numbers you would like and mark each group with A, B, C, D etc. You may only select ways totaling 1 to 40 Spots. You can mark your own numbers into groups to form all possible Spot combinations from your groups if you play ALL WAYS, or you can choose your OWN WAYS for your choice of which Spots to play. It is the amount of numbers correctly matched in each way selected that determine your prize, not the total numbers you match. 11 POINTS TO REMEMBER Actual numbers drawn on the game draw selection device shall be the official numbers drawn. NT Keno winnings are paid out on the printed receipt ticket only and can be claimed through any NT Keno terminal up to 365 days after the bet has been placed. It is the customer s responsibility to check their ticket. Please check your NT Keno ticket carefully, be sure it is correctly marked. Any corrections must be made before the close of the current game. NT Keno results are not official until all numbers are drawn and confirmed. Exposing the NT Keno ticket receipt to excessive heat may cause discoloration resulting in the entry becoming invalid. On Spot games the minimum bet is $1 and maximum bet is $9,999, Heads or Tails maximum bet is $500 per ticket. No cent bets are allowed. NT Keno has a 1,000 game cycle, with the maximum games on one ticket being 1,000. If there is more than one winner on a Jackpot, the Jackpot will be shared and abated proportionately. This brochure is only intended to be an abbreviated guide to certain aspects of NT Keno in the Northern Territory. All games of the NT Keno are subject to the Approved Rules of Keno, which may be amended from time to time without notification. A copy of the Approved Rules of Keno is available for viewing upon request from any NT Keno venue in the Northern Territory. MAXIMUM AGGREGATE PAYOUT: The payout limit per NT Keno game is $200,000 (not including Jackpot pools or prizes won of $200 or less). Therefore, if the total value of prizes in any one game exceeds $200,000, the payouts to all major prize winners exceeding $200 are prorated proportionally to their win. Pro-rating applies to fixed-odds prizes over $200 (not including wins of $200 or less). Prizes that would be pro-rated below $200 would be scaled to a minimum of $200. Each way of a Combination (Ways) bets are assessed independently. The non-fixed odds components of Jackpot wins are not subject to pro-rating (but are subject to sharing if a jackpot was won by more than one person on a game). For instance if there are three major wins on one game of $200,000, $140,000 and $60,000 the payouts will abate to $100,000, $70,000 and $30,000 respectively, resulting in a total payment of $200,000 for that game, not including prizes less $200 that were won on that game.
