Any age, type, height, or sex. OPEN CONDITION AND TURNOUT Any age, type, height or sex will be split into a) plaited b) native/traditional if sufficient entries YOUNGSTOCK PLAITED Born 2009, 2010 or Any type, height, sex or colour. OPEN HEAVYWEIGHTS/COBS/ TRADITIONALS/ VANNERS/NATIVE to be shown their in natural state or hogged and trimmed Any age, height, sex. ualifier to highest placed young stock/horse exceeding 153cm/pony.153cm and under OPEN HORSE/ PONY PLAITED Any age, height, sex. ualifier to highest placed young stock/horse exceeding 153cm/pony.153cm and under YOUNGSTOCK NATIVE/TRADITIONAL/COB Born ualifiers for three highest placed not exceeding 153cms at maturity and those to exceed 153cms at maturity BEST COLOUR & MARKINGS Skewbalds & Piebalds only. 90% Colour / 10% Judges choice. Display required In their first season of competition or never to have won 2 firsts. Any suitable snaffle bridle may be worn. No spurs. Cavesson Noseband only. BSPA NODDY/PENNY Lead rein or first ridden (will be split if sufficient entries) Lead Rein Riders 3-9 yrs as from 1/1/12 Mares or geldings not exceeding 122cm.Leadrein must be fixed onto the noseband. First Ridden riders 12 years and under ponies not exceeding 122cm. Snaffle bridles only no spurs BSPA RIHS Skewbald/Piebald Ridden Pony not exceeding 143cm Any type, sex 4 years old and over. Rider any age suitable size for the pony. Judge will not ride. Display required. No spurs may be worn. (2012 Members only on registered ponies only) BSPA RIHS Skewbald/Piebald Ridden Pony not exceeding 153cms Any type, sex, 4 years old and over. Rider any age suitable for the pony. The Judge will not ride. No spurs may be worn. (2012 Members only on registered ponies only) BSPA RIHS Skewbald/Piebald Horse exceeding 153cms Any type, sex, 4 years old and over exceeding 153cms. Riders 15 years and older as 1 st January of current year. Judge will ride and may request a display at their discretion. (2012 Members only on registered horses only) BSPA EUITATION UALIFIER First three to qualify in each section Sec a Junior Riders 5-18 Sec b Senior Riders over 18 years Judged : 50% Rider 50% Horse/pony no spurs to be worn OPEN HORSE OR PONY Any type height, sex or colour 4 yrs and over Judge will not ride. No spurs. Display required. Class 17 LOLA FAMILY PONY Suitable for all members of the family. Snaffle bridle only, simple display required no spurs to be worn judge will not ride STAR CHAMPIONSHIP 1 ST & 2 ND CLASSES & CHAMPION AND RESERVE WILL UALIFY FOR STAR CHAMPIONSHIP AT WCC ualification Details indicates qualifying class for The Royal International Horse Show or the BSPA WCC Summer Championships where indicated Classes will be judged within the rules and criteria of the B.S.P.A, copies can be obtained from them. Please note that you do not have to be a member to compete but you must hold a current membership/horse registration to qualify for the WCC Summer Championships. 1 st 3 rd or three highest placed in open classes to qualify. All ualification cards MUST be signed in the ring by the class judge in order to be valid.. The Brightwells Auctioneers Skewbald and Piebald Sports Horse and Pony In Hand National Championship ualifier. These classes are for athletic Horses and Ponies that have the conformation and movement to compete in Dressage, Showjumping or Eventing and that have a verified/proven parentage passport, breeding must be indicated on the entry form. The three highest places in each class to qualify for the final to be held at the British Skewbald and Piebald Association World Championships of Colour 18 th -19 th August 2012 to be held at The East of England Showground Peterbrough Each Horse/Pony is to be judged individually on a triangle and also walked and trotted round the ring as a class. Marks will be awarded for confirmation, walk, trot and overall impression. Handlers, Owners and Horses/Ponies must be members of the BSPA for qualification to remain valid. These classes are open to BSPA Members with registered Horses/Ponies only. CLASSES 8-9 3

4 RING 2 COMMENCING YOUNGSTOCK EVALUATION ENTRY FEE 15 TO BE JUDGED ON FUTURE LIKELIHOOD TO BECOME A BSPA GRADED STALLION OR GRADED MARE. NO FOALS OR GELDINGS. 1-3 YR OLDS ONLY ALL SCORE SHEETS AVAILABLE ON THE DAY ALL HORSES/PONIES SHOULD BE WELL HANDLED AND BE ABLE TO TROT IN HAND ON A TRIANGLE JUDGE: MRS LESLIE BRADFIELD & MISS LYNDA LODGE SCORING SYSTEM: RED PREFFERED - SCORES OF 71% + THOSE ACHIEVING THIS STATUS WILL BE AWARDED 1% TO BE ADDED TO THEIR GRADING SCORE IF THEY GRADE SUCCESSFULLY. BLUE PREFERRED FOR THOSE SCORING 65%-70% WHITE CERTIFIED FOR THOSE SCORING 65% OR LESS Class 18. Skewbald and Piebald Plaited Horse. Exhibits exceeding or calculated to exceed 153cm at maturity. Three categories yearling, two year old, three year old. Colts and fillies only Class 19. Skewbald and Piebald Native/Cob/Traditional to be shown in their natural state. Exhibits exceeding 153cm or calculated to exceed 153cm at maturity. To be judged in three categories yearling, two year old, three year old. Colts and fillies only Class 20. Skewbald and Piebald Plaited Pony not exceeding 153cm. To be Judges in three categories yearling, two year old, three year old. Colts and fillies only Class 21. Skewbald and Piebald Native/Cob/Traditional not to exceed 153cm at maturity to be judged in three categories yearling, two year old, three year old. 5 Classes These classes are affiliated to the British Skewbald and Piebald Association and are qualifiers for the Royal International Horse Show at Hickstead 17 th July These classes will be judges under BSPA rules, copies of which can be obtained from them. All horses/ponies must be registered with and owners & riders members of BSPA prior to the show. Rider age is taken as 1 st Jan. All stallions must be graded and licensed by BSPA. No rider under 14yrs may exhibit a stallion in any class. Membership and ualification cards MUST be carried in the ring by competitors and produced as required for inspection and signature. Failure to do so will disqualify any competitor and their qualification handed down to the next unqualified competitor. Spurs may not be worn in any pony class. Ponies 153cms or under must posses a current JMB height certificate. ualification: 1 st place and the highest next unqualified competitor standing 2 nd or 3 rd qualify from each class. No competitor may qualify from lower than 3 rd place. Riders 15years and over in horse classes exceeding 153cm RULES 1. Competitors and spectators attend the show at their own risk. The organisers will not be held responsible for any accident, damage, loss or injury to any person, animal or property whatsoever. 2. The judge s decision is FINAL. 3. No entries to be refunded. 4. No lunging in the collecting ring. 5. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry without explanation. 6. Any horse, pony, handler or rider behaving in any way that poses a risk to itself or others will be asked to leave. 7. All colts/stallions must be bitted. NO EXCEPTIONS, STALLIONS 4 YEARS AND OVER MUST BE GRADED WITH BSPA. 8. Horses/ponies in ridden classes must be 4 years old and over unless otherwise stated in the schedule 9. Horse/ponies ages are from 1st January 10. Junior riders must wear correctly secured British Standard Riding Hats as EN1384.PAS015 or PAS accredited. 11. Skewbald/Piebald colts/stallions aged 4yrs and over must be licensed or graded with the B.S.P.A to go in showing classes. No rider or handler under 14yrs may exhibit a colt/stallion. 12. Owners/Handlers/Riders/Horses must be members/registered with B.S.P.A to qualify but need not to enter (except classes 8-9 & when membership horse registration is required prior to the show) 13. Spurs or dress spurs must not be worn in any Ridden Pony class. Where a Horse/Pony class are held no exhibitor may wear spurs. - B.S.P.A rule. 14. Dressage whips are forbidden and all whips must be under 30 inches 15. No mucking out into the car park Take your rubbish home 16. No smoking in arena 17. No dogs except in horsebox area must be on the lead 18. Mobile phones must be turned off in the ring 19. No earrings, tongue studs, or any jewellery may be worn whilst competing NO MOBILE PHONES IN THE RING 5
