Class 12 - N28 (2008) Riders must be 12 years or over on day of Show. Would any person entering the above class(es) as well as the Hunter class(es), (which are scheduled to run at the same time), please state on the Entry Form which Classes they would prefer to compete first. Times will be avaailable on Thursday 19th July on the website PONY CLASSES Judging am Class 13 - PONIES not exceeding 12.2hh (128cms). Riders not to have attained their 13th birthday before 1st January in the current year. Class 14 - PONIES exceeding 12.2hh (128cms) and not exceeding 13.2hh (138cms) Riders not to have attained their 17th birthday before 1st January in the current year. Class 15 - PONIES exceeding 13.2hh (138cms) and not exceeding 14.2hh (148cms) Riders not to have attained their 15th birthday before 1st January in the current year. Class 16 - PONIES exceeding 12.2hh (128cms) On leading rein - riders not to have attained their 8th birthday before 1st January in the current year. Class 17 - Show Hunter Pony, ANY AGE. In hand. 6 Clear round showjumping 8.30am - 10am Entry 5.00 JUMPING COMPETITION Judging commences at approx 10am Class 34 - Juvenile jumping competition (12.2hh and under) To be ridden by boy or girl born in 2007 or after Class 35 - Juvenile jumping competition (exceeding 12.2hh and not exceeding 13.2hh) To be ridden by boy or girl born in 2005 or after Class 36 - Juvenile jumping competition (exceeding 13.2hh and not exceeding 14.2hh) To be ridden by boy or girl born in 2003 or after Class 37 - jumping competition (exceeding 14.2hh) Riders under 17 years of age on date of show Class 38 - Novice Jumping competition Maximum height 80cm Horse or Pony not to have won more than 20 in any competition with jumping Fancy Dress Entry Money FREE Prizes: Rosettes and prizes in kind. Start at approx 2pm Class 39 - Fancy Dress. Open to all ages. To be judged on originality and comic appeal. Novelty Dog Show Entry Money: Children 50p, Adults 1 Various Classes - Entries on Field Terrier Racing RETRAINING OF RACEHORSES Judging commences at approx 10am Class 40 - the ror/tba (Thoroughbred Breeders Association) retrained racehorse challenge 2018 To follow Working Hunter Ponies at approx 1.30pm. The RoR Retrained Racehorse Challenge. Mare or gelding 4yrs old or over and of any height. Riders must be 15 years old or over on the 1st January. Horses to be ridden in any suitable bridle and should be plaited. The first 3 go forward to the championship at The RoR National Show of Aintree in August All entries must be registered with RoR and HAVE raced in GB. Horses will NOT be ridden by the judge. Competitors must wear a safety/kite mark hard hat with a chinstrap. All those entering horses and/or participating in the show agree to be bound by the Retraining of Racehorses Rules and Regulations from time to time in force. Racing injuries and blemishes are ignored in this series. The class to be judged 50% jumping, 20% style while jumping and performance and 30% awarded for show, manners and suitability to be retrained. For further details visit the RoR website - PRIZES: Rosettes 1st to 6th place and Tesco Vouchers 1st to 4th place. 1st 50 plus voucher for jacket, 2nd 25, 3rd 20, 4th 10 Veteran prize (15+): 25 voucher to be redeemed from RoR office and qualification for the Veteran final at Aintree. Class 41 - the ror Scottish Tatterstalls, THoroughbred ridden show series qualifier 2018 To follow Pony Classes at approx 12noon. Thoroughbred Mare or Gelding, 4 years old or over, any height. Riders must be 15 years or over. Horses should be ridden in a snaffle, pelham or simple double bridle. Horses should be plaited. The first three go forward to the championship at the Royal Highland Show All entries MUST be registered with the RoR and have RACED in GB. There will be a prize for the highest placed veteran 15 years or over. The Class will be run under the rules of RoR. Horses to be ridden by the judge. All those entering horses and/or participating in the show agree to be bound by the Retraining of Racehorses Rules and Regulations from time to time in force.
