2 Register Association: A H Grade 5 Horse Trials & Encouragement Training Activity Day Sunday 8th May 2016 CONDITIONS OF ENTRY Entry is conditional upon acceptance of these conditions 1. Entry Fee is $25.00 per rider per section, Open Riders $ $10.00 Day Attendance. All entries to be accompanied with correct fees. A Day Attendance form must be signed by everyone, including pony club members, who are participating in the open section of the competition. PCAV,EV,& HRCAV members are not required to pay the $10.00 day attendance fee. Proof of membership is required. Day Attendance forms can be downloaded from 2. Entering this competition constitutes acknowledgement that PCAV rules apply and acceptance of these rules. 3. The organising committee reserves the right to cancel any class or competition; divide any class; alter times; refuse any entry with or without stating the reason. 4. No refunds after closing date except with vet or medical. 5. Competitors may ride more than one horse, subject to the conditions of PCAV Handbook of By-laws multiple horse rules. 6. PCAV club member cards must be inspected at the secretary s office before riding. 7. Current Medical Armbands must be worn by all competitors. 8. Please present for Gear Check mounted, prior to riding in each test/phase of the competition. 9. Correct standards numbered helmet must be worn as specified in PCAV Gear Rules. Spot checks may occur and incorrect helmet will mean elimination. 10. Riders under eight years of age may not compete (except in Section A & B), horses must be at least age four, no stallions or Colts. 11. Competitor numbers - the organising committee will pre-allocate and advise numbers and provide back numbers. 12. Queries, protests, horse abuse rules as per the PCAV Handbook of By-Laws. 13. Dogs are prohibited without exception. 14. Lunging is permitted in the round yard area.only the competitor may ride or lunge their horse or pony. The penalty for disobeying this rule will result in elimination. 15. Warm up areas has been allocated to 2 areas Inexperience and Experienced areas. Please ensure you utilize the appropriated area. 16. Neither the organising committee of this competition nor the PCAV accepts any responsibility for any accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, riders, ground spectators or any other person or property.
