2 THIS SHOW IS A QUALIFIER FOR P(UK) 2014 SUPREME CHAMPIONSHIPS. 014/S14/ st,2 nd & 3 RD placed horses/ponies in each qualifying class will qualify. No cards will be awarded in the ring, placings will be confirmed by results sent in by show secretary. Competitors in qualifying positions, who are not current members of Ponies (UK) must become a member before the time of entry THIS SHOW IS AFFILIATED TO THE B.S.P.S.14/14 All persons entering, competing, showing or otherwise taking part in B.S.P.S. classes, whether or not members of the B.S.P.S. are subject to the rules inc. disciplinary procedures, and shall be deemed to have consented to the jurisdiction of the B.S.P.S.. This show is a qualifier for the 2014 Championship Show to be held at Arena UK. The 1 st & 2 nd prizewinners from classes &80. 1 st 2 nd & 3 rd prizewinners from classes 43,44,47,55, 62,6,67& 82.1 st -4 th prizewinners from classes 45,46,59,60,6179 &83 will qualify provided the pony is reg. in accordance with rules and ridden by a member. The B.S.P.S. CLASSIC SECURITY U.K. LTD CHALLENGE This show is a qualifier for the B.S.P.S. Challenge, the highest placed pony in the Leading Rein, First Ridden, Open Show Ponies, Lead Rein of Hunter Type, Open Show Hunter Pony, and Open Intermediate SRT, SH & all Heritage classes that have not qualified for the B.S.P.S Horse of the Year Show, in the appropriate class, will qualify. If the highest placed pony has already qualified for the B.S.P.S. Challenge, the qualification will be awarded to the next eligible pony. THE B.S.P.S. CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS. This show is a qualifier for the BSPS Champion of Champions, the Champion Mini Show Pony, Mini WHP, Open Show Pony, Open WHP/WH, Open SHP, Open Intermediate, Heritage Mini, Open Heritage Ridden and will qualify. Mixed height classes the first prizewinner will qualify. This show is also a qualifier for the BSPS Premier League & BSPS Black Country Saddles Best Rider. This show ia a qualifier for the Championships to be held at the EQUIFEST SUMMER CHAMPIONSHIPS on August 13-17th st Open to thoroughbreds raced or unraced who are registered with Wetherbys. The 1 st & 2 nd qualify for the Tarra Championship held at Equifest Summer Championships. If first two are already qualified, qualification will go down to 4 th providing there are 6 entries. In Ridden classes the 2 highest placed ponies will qualify, in the event of either having previously qualified then it will be awarded to the next eligible pony. The Quest Champion & Reserve qualify foe the Ultimate Star Championships at TOYS Anyone not presenting their membershipcard or displaying a stallion disc may not take part in the TGCA Quest Championship. It is a condition of entry to the Showground that all persons will act on any instructions given to them by the show committee, in so far that it can affect the health and safety of all. All competitors must take due regard to Section 7 of the Health and Safety Act and have due regard for the safety of others. Objections. Any objection to be made in writing to the secretary with a deposit of cash, which will be returned if the objection is upheld. All objections must be made within 15 minutes of the class taking place. 7 All Stallions and Colts must be handled by a person over 14 years of age and be adequately bitted and under control. 8 Show canes and whips must not be more than 30 inches long. 9 ALL RIDERS must wear Hats which comply to BS4472, 6473 and for BSPS classes, EN1384, PAS015 or PAS accredited while mounted, whether exhibiting or not. 10 Lead Rein Classes. Ponies to be shown in snaffle bridles and the lead-rein to be attached to the nose-band on which it must remain whilst the pony is in the ring. Whilst in the ring the pony must be led at all times. 11 First Ridden Classes. Ponies to be shown in a suitable bridle, No cantering allowed except for individual show. 12 Foals must accompany mares in the ring and be at least 3 weeks old or NPS classes 4 weeks old on the day of the show. 13 Mountain and Moorland ponies must be shown in natural state. 14 All exhibitors must be wearing the allocated number for the exhibit when entering the ring.
