All horses must be registered with the American Miniature Horse Association. Any person (owner or owners, amateurs, youth, trainers) that is showing at an AMHA Championship Show must be an AMHA member in good standing. Age heights: weanlings cannot exceed 30 inches yearlings cannot exceed 32 inches two-year-olds cannot exceed 33 inches 3 years of age and older cannot exceed 34 inches. All entry forms, with copies of both sides of the AMHA registration papers for each horse are to be sent to the show secretary. All handlers must provide a copy of their current AMHA Amateur / Youth / Open Card. To exhibit in AMHA Amateur Classes, you must have an AMHA Amateur Card. To exhibit in AMHA Youth Classes, you must have an AMHA Youth Card. Applications for both will be available in the Show Office. Per Article IV, Section 3 Dues any person (owner or owners, amateurs, youth, trainers) that is showing at an AMHA Regional Championship or World Show must be an AMHA member in good standing. Owners of AMHA senior stallions (3 & older) must present a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection for cryptorchidism to show management prior to participating. Form can be found on the AMHA website. Please include copy of the Certificate with entry. If the exhibitor in AMHA Amateur is not the same as the owner of the horse, please include copy of the lease agreement with entry. All entry forms, with copies of both sides of the AMHA registration papers for each horse, copy of Certificate of Veterinary Inspection for senior stallions, lease agreements, are to be sent to the show secretary AMHA ETROPEAN Regional championship show

5 JUDGEs and judging system The AMHA European Regional Championship Show will be judged by a panel of three AMHA carded judges. All three of the judges cards/scores will be used to determine class winners. Three sets of points will be awarded. Points will be tabulated as set forth in PA-015 in the 2010 AMHA Official Rule Book. Total points earned at the AMHA European Regional Championship Show will be valid for the 2011 World Championship Show qualification and for all AMHA titles and awards. HEALTH REQUIREMENTS: Equine influenza: Exhibition and transport: All horses over 6 months of age must have documentation, endorsed by a veterinarian, of an initial series of two intramuscular injections for primary vaccination against equine in.uenza given no less than 21 days and no more than 92 days apart. In addition, a booster injection must be recorded as having been given at least within every 12 months following the 2nd shot of the initial series. Owners are responsible for knowing and meeting any health requirements regarding the exhibition of horses and their transport between their home location and the show. Please check with your local veterinarian. GENERAL RULES: Measuring: Dress: PA system: Measuring official will be present only on Friday hours, and Saturday hours. All horses must be measured before entering the ring. Valid annualmeasurement cards will not be accepted. For identification, either the original or a color photocopy of both sides of each horse s registration papers must be presented to the official measurer at the time of measuring or the horse will not be measured and cannot compete at the Championship Show. AMHA Show Letters will not be accepted. It is the tradition of the show ring that handlers be correctly attired for the classes. Appropriate dress shall not include shorts, T-shirts or open-toed shoes. Management may at its discretion bar any entry or person from entering the ring if not suitably dressed to appear before an audience. It is the owner/handler/exhibitor s responsibility to be on time for classes. Announcements to the barn area are a management courtesy AMHA ETROPEAN Regional championship show

7 Conduct: Cruelty, abuse or inhumane treatment of any horse in the show ring, barn, stalls, or on the show grounds is strictly prohibited. The use of stimulants or depressants or any drug affecting the showing of a horse is forbidden. There will be no refunds on of.ce fees or stalls. Substitutions will be accepted without penalty. 8 Photographers Photographers take pictures of Grand and Reserve Grand Champions. These will be published later in the Miniature Horse World. They will also assist with other class winners and all other exhibitor requests for pictures. Pictures requested by the exhibitor/owner are at the sole expense of the exhibitor/owner. Note to exhibitors If you are registering or transferring a horse close to the show date, please allow yourself enough time to receive your original registration papers back to present at the show for measuring purposes. AMHA Show Letters will not be accepted. Listing of ownership on Regional Championship Show Entries is not subject to any change after close of entries. Horses will be announced with ownerships as recorded in the AMHA computer database on date entries closed. Due to this, horses intended to be shown in an Amateur class at the Regional Championship Show must be transferred BEFORE the close of entry date. New registrations and transfers postmarked one week prior to and through to the close of entry date must include an expediting fee of $40.00 per horse for new owners if you wish the horse s ownership to be announced in your name or want to show the horse in an amateur class. Any new registrations and transfers postmarked or entries received after the close of entry date will not be listed in the Regional Championship Program.
