Carroll Levee June 24, April 8, 2000 A little history on the breeding program of the broodmares... My Dad and Mom, Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Levee, started raising horses back in the early sixties. Over the years of raising foals, they went to sale after sale, and breeder after breeder, to purchase what they like in a horse. As you will see from the foals, they valued stock with a good head, straight legs and good confirmation. In 1990, my family moved from Whitecourt, Alberta to continue this breeding program on the family farm. With our herd decreasing in size we are still looking forward to breeding good guality horses with good minds to accommodate the needs of you, the buyer. We wish to raise horses that are an all around horse that can do well in the show ring and yet a horse that can be put to work - whether it be in reining, cutting, working cowhorse, barrel racing, roping or pleasure Futurity Success Leos Mighty Jackpot - 3 year old bay gelding Sire: Mr Greats Jackie Bee Dam: Leo's Mighty Muffin Sire: Mr Greats Jackie Bee competed in the Alberta 50/50 Futurity in 2004 and won 8th place. Jack came back to the Saskatchewan 50/50 Futurity with Tawnie and won Reserve Champion and the High Point Non-Pro Award in Overall, Jack won over $11,000 plus prizes. Dam: Leo's Mighty Muffin competed in the 2004 Saskatchewan 50/50 Futurity with Tawnie and won Grand Champion as well as the High Point Youth Award. Muffin won over $10,000 plus prizes. This spring Tawnie and Jackpot headed to Moose Jaw to compete in the Saskatchewan 50/50 Futurity. Jackpot had some big "hooves" to fill, with both of his parents being past Champions. Tawnie and Jackpot had a good weekend and won Reserve Champion. They also won the High Point Non-Pro Award as well as High Point Confirmation. Jackpot won $3,000 plus prizes Jackpot is one of the first horses from Jack's first foal crop. These are very intelligent and trusting horses that have a great disposition. Jackpot is a very smooth moving horse that is a joy to ride. Jack's foals are super trainable and eye catching. You definitely get noticed.

We have kept 3 of his foals back over the years to show in different disciplines and they have done very well. They have won over $25,000 in prize money alone. If I had the manpower to feed and care for these babies none of them would be coming to town because I think every one of them could be shown and be a winner. The minds on his foals are super. In Fires world we never showed any but it is what our buyers have done with his foals that has made us proud. The blue roan gelding that Kevin Goruik competed on and won the Ranch horse competition and has the record for the highest price gelding at the sale. Ringer the 3 year old Tawnie put 2 months of riding on sold for $5,200 and Vern, the guy that bought him, taught him to rope and sold him for over $10,000 in the steer roping world and is doing great. When a youth can take one of his foals and win the Grand Champion of the show against the professionals and bring home just shy of $10,000 it makes us very proud. They have the confirmation to win in the halter class, the collected gates to do well in the pleasure classes and the athletic ability to win the pattern (combination of reining and trail) classes. All of this put together with the great mind to handle it all mentally and with a sweet personality. This is our experience with our Leo foal we kept to show. His foal is Lot #22.

He placed 1st and 2nd in halter, 3rd and 5th in rail and 5th and 9th in pattern. After the first day of competition Tawnie and Jack were in 3rd place. On the second day they received a 1st and 5th in pattern, 2nd and 10th. Tawnie and Jack were Reserve Champions of the futurity! They won $3,822 and a jacket. That money was doubled to $7,644 because Jack is a Naeric horse. Tawnie also won the High Point Non-Pro award, receiving a jacket. Laurie received $ in Breeder awards as well as a jacket. Tawnie and Jack won $8, plus prizes at the Saskatchewan 50/50 Futurity. With both Futurities Jack has won $11, This is proof that these horses have a great mind, athletic ability and confirmation all in one package. Jack s first crop of foals, JACKPOT, showed this year and followed in his daddy s footprints winning Reserve Champion at the SK 50/ 50 futurity this May. As I have said before I really like the Two Eyed Jack and Sonny Dee Bar bloodline and they are both on Pepper Mint s papers. They are very versatile and you also get great confirmation and a good mind. As you will see his foals are very athletic. Pepper Mint stands 15.2 HH, has a nice head, long neck and is very stream lined. His black coloring helps for color. On the palomino mare I got all buckskin foals last year. I am sure his foals are capable of any discipline you would like from a ranch horse, to barrel racing and for any English riders he will give you a good mount. I am very excited to see what his foals will do in the future. 12 Futurity and Sale Success... Over the past 19 years Laurie and Triple T Ranch have had a commitment to producing top quality horses that can go on to be top performers in a variety of disciplines. Their home bred horses have gone on to exciting careers and have won many accolades. In 2003 Tawnie started the whole ball rolling when she won Champion at the Sask 50/50 Futurity on her little mare Leo's Mighty Muffin. She was the first youth ever to win the Sask 50/50, with 23 horses competing. Tawnie and Muffin won a total of $9,312 plus prizes. Tawnie won Reserve Champion on Mighty Drift N Lace "Lacey". There were 37 horses competing and she brought home $16, cash plus prizes. Tawnie also won Hight Point Youth at the 2004 Alberta 50/50. At the same futurity Mr Greats Jackie Bee placed 8th out of the 37 competing to bring home $3, cash. In May of 2005 at the Moose Jaw 50/50 Futurity Tawnie won reserved Champion on Mr Greats Jackie Bee. Tawnie also won High Point Non-Pro, winning a total of $7,644. There were 19 horses in the competition. In 2006, Laurie and her gelding Crimson's Shadow tied first for High Point Non-Pro at the Sask 50/50 Futurity in May, winning a nylon blanket embroidered with the Sask Futurity 50/50 logo. In the Fall of 2007 at the Alberta 50/50 Pot O Gold Futurity Tawnie won third on LLW Cruz N For Gold, a buckskin AQHA gelding. Laurie also took a turn in the show pen with LLW Cruznforapotogold, a palomino overo gelding. Laurie and Cruzor went to the Alberta 50/50 Pot O Gold Futurity and placed quite well. They were in 9th place after the first day and finished just short of the top ten in the competition. Laurie and Cruz also competed in a few other local shows that year and won ribbons and cash. In May of 2008 Tawnie and "Cruz" continued to the Saskatchewan 50/50 Futurity where they were awarded Reserve Champion, winnings totalled $5, plus prizes. Tawnie and Cruz continued to go to shows for the rest of the year and did quite well, winning their fair share of ribbons and cash. In 2009, Tawnie and LLW Cruz N For Gold competed in the Sask 50/50 Maturity at Moose Jaw, winning Grand Champion and High Point Pattern. Laurie showed LLW Cruznforapotogold in the same Maturity, winning overall 3rd place and also brought home High Point Halter Horse. Now in 2010 Tawnie continues to do well, winning Reserve Champion, High Point Non-Pro nd High Point Confirmation in the Sask 50/50 Futurity held in Moose Jaw this spring. At the Wood Mountain Ranch Horse Competition and Sale, Kevin Goruick campaigned a 5 year old Triple T Ranch bred horse, Fires Fancy Blue Boy, to win the coveted competition and bring a record price of $8,500. Triple T Ranch has consigned horses in the Western Horse Sales Unlimited, operated by Lee and Tracy Pedersen. In 2005 they sold two horses, the black gelding LLW Ring of Fire out of, selling for $5,200 and a palomino gelding selling for $4,000 - averaging $4,600. At the 2006 sale Laurie took three horses - a 5 year old palomino mare out of Crimson Drifter; a 3 year old palomino breeding stock gelding out of ; and a 5 year old red dun gelding, a grandson of the black mare. These three horses had an average of 60 to 90 days riding by Tawnie the winter before and Laurie and Brent Nostadt rode them prior to the sale. Brent did an awesome job riding these horses and Laurie was very pleased when they averaged over $4,000. In May of 2007 Laurie and Tawnie took 2 geldings to the sale - a palomino 4 year old son of which sold for $5,200 and a blue roan 3 year old son of, selling for $4,800. Both horses had 60 days riding by Tawnie Morrison (Wolter). Laurie and everyone at the Triple T Ranch appreciated all the support and confidence her many customers and friends have given them.
