3 CONDITIONS OF ENTRY 1. The Riding Pony Stud Book Society (WA), its committee, Judges and Officials DO NOT accept any liability for any accident, loss, damage, illness or injury to horses, owners, competitors, spectators or any other person or property whatsoever. Entry to the grounds is at your own risk and the Waiver of Liability form must be signed by all entrants prior to participation, this is a condition of our insurance. 2. The committee reserves the right to cancel, alter or combine any events/classes they deem necessary. 3. Stallions and Colts must be under control at all times and have suitable headgear. Stallions must be bitted. (if a stallion gets loose due to incorrect headgear, the owner will be responsible for any damage caused) 4. The age of the stallion and colt handlers must be as per each respective Breed Society regulations notwithstanding this, handlers may not be younger than 18 years of age. 5. Handlers age shall be as is on the day of the show. 6. Exhibits with dual/multiple registrations may compete in all eligible events and Other Registered Breeds if their registration is not covered in any of the rings. 7. Pre-entry documentation to accompany entry forms must include a copy of each breed registration certificate and current financial membership, together with a current height certificate if required by the breed society. 8. Please remember to keep an eye on the rings you are competing in to ensure you don t miss your event. Due to the amount of entries each ring will differ in times and may be subject to change between rings depending on competitor numbers. 9. It is the responsibility of the competitor to ensure they are ringside in time to compete in their class. If classes clash it is the responsibility of the competitor to choose which event they will compete in. Classes will not be held up. 10. All Supreme Champion winners are eligible for Supreme of Supremes (excluding unregistered) 11. No judge is to be approached by a competitor or spectator without permission from the committee. 12. All handlers must wear safe footwear and appropriate attire in accordance with their Breed Society Regulations. 13. The decision of the Judge is final. Poor sportsmanship will not be tolerated. Failure to abide by this and any of other rules set by Riding Pony Stud Book Society (WA) may lead to disqualification and forfeiture of entry fees. 14. Protests must be made in writing and referred to the Ground Jury. A deposit of $50 must be made to lodge the protest and this will be non-refundable if the protest is not upheld. Protests must be lodged with the event organiser or their nominated representative within 15minutes of the conclusion of the class in question. 15. Refunds ($10 administration fee) will only be given with a veterinary or medical certificate provided. A copy of the certificate must be supplied to the organising committee within 24hours of the event. 16. Competitors entering Show Horse or Show Hunter can only compete in one section with the same exhibit. 17. Show Hunters must be shown in a plain browband. RIDING PONY STUD BOOK SOCIETY (WA) SPECIFIC CONDITIONS 1. One of the listed exhibitors for each pony entered in Riding Pony classes must be a current financial member of RPSBS and must be the owner/lessee of the pony entered 2. Age of ponies or horses taken from August 1st annually 3. All ponies four years and over must be adult registered. 4. No Youngstock exhibit is eligible to be shown in Riding Pony classes (excluding Over Height) if it exceeds in height: a hh at 1 year b hh at 2 years c hh at 3 years d. with 1/2inch to be added for shows in the period from 1 February to 31 July. 5. All ponies under four years must either be adult registered or foal recorded with the exception of foals as noted below. All colts 2 years and over must be adult registered. 6. Foals/Weanlings - eligibility to show. Foals which are not weaned and are shown on their dams may be shown prior to registration being finalised providing they are eligible for registration with RPSBS Ltd. 7. Foals which are weaned must be registered RPSBS Ltd with the exception of those conceived by AI or ET which, if not yet registered, must have the registration application and hair sample for DNA received by the RPSBS with full payment. Only colt foals which are eligible on breeding for registration as Section A may be shown in classes restricted to colts. 8. All ponies competing must be microchipped and/or branded and registered with the RPSBS Ltd, owners/exhibitors must be current financial members of the Society. 9. RPSBS Ltd membership and registration certificates must be with the owner/exhibitor on the day of the show and must be made available on request. 10. No pending registration no late memberships will be accepted. 11. RPSBS heat policy applies; check or State website for updates. 12. Senior Overheight Riding Pony show classes are for registered Section A Riding Ponies or Riding Ponies who have a Section A parent that have exceeded 14.2hh at 4yo. Youngstock Overheight show classes are for Section A Riding Ponies or Riding Ponies who have a Section A parent that exceed the height limitation for their age as set down in the RPSBS Showing Rules & Regulations

I have produced my own horses for over 40 years alongside my successful Baylew Stud. I formerly trained racehorses for many years having runners in UK, USA & Europe.I have judged several times in Australia including Barastoc twice, Melbourne Royal (Victoria Racing) NPOTY twice and in 2019 I will be judging Intermediates at the Horse Of The Year in the UK & also in New Zealand.I am on BSPS, PUK, CHAPS, IPS, VHS, BMHS, SSADL, SWPA, BSPA panels. 10 Release and Waiver of Liability In consideration for being permitted to participate in any way in horse sport activities, I, understand, acknowledge and accept that: Horse sports are a dangerous activity and horses can act in a sudden and unpredictable (changeable) way, especially if frightened or hurt. There is a significant risk that serious INJURY or DEATH may result from horse sport activities. I understand and acknowledge the dangers associated with the consumption of alcohol or any mind altering drugs and agree not to drink alcohol or take drugs prohibited by law before or during any horse sports activities. I agree to follow the directions of any event organiser or official and that any misconduct or refusal by me to follow any direction of any organiser or official can result in the CANCELLATION of my participation in the activities and my immediate removal from my horse NO MATTER where that may occur. I agree to wear an approved helmet at all times whilst participating in the sport where this is required under the relevant EA and FEI rules and regulations. I have had sufficient opportunity to read this Dangerous Activity Acknowledgement and fully understand its terms and submit it freely and voluntarily.
