President s Message A Note from the President Happy March!!! Seems to be coming in like a lion so it ll be like a lamb at the end of the month. We are flooding and the mud is so special. Better than feet of snow true but I think it is yukky. At our next meeting, we have Joanne Anderson coming to talk to us about How to Advertise Your Horses, putting your best out there. She is very talented and knowledgeable and we are lucky she is willing to come share her expertise with us. Keep those sponsorships coming. Memberships are due by March 31st to be eligible for our year end certificates and awards. Have you visited the new site yet? Our class list and premium will be posted after they are AMHR/ASPC approved so you can start planning for the show. I love Facebook right now. People are posting all the new baby pictures. YEAH!!!! Contact Diana Axness for information about CDE - Combined Driving Events or if you would like to find out more about getting into Combined Driving. This is a fun way for getting your horses or ponies doing something different. They love it - at least mine do. This does help them to relax and enjoy working more. 3 EVERGREEN MINIATURE HORSE SHOW/ AREA VII NATIONAL SHOW Our show date has had to be moved to Aug 1st 3rd because of Pony Congress being the same weekend as Evergreens MHC s show usually is. We want to give our exhibiters who will be coming to our show as much of a chance to recover from their travels as possible. We will be needing sponsors and volunteers for the show as this is what makes a show possible. Our sponsors help with the finances of our show. Our volunteers help to make our show run smoothly. If you would like to volunteer for any of the many areas that need help, please contact one of the board members. You can take a Sponsor form to your tack store or feed store to see if they will give a bag of feed, tack or sponsor a class. Their name/store will be mentioned as well as their name/store will displayed as a sponsor at the show. Please send all information to me/editor to be forwarded to Joanne Anderson/Webmaster. If you have a banner, please to me. A good picture is worth a thousand words for promoting your farm and stallions. This is a good way to promote your farm and your stallions. Toy is a 2x National Top Ten Halter Champion and a National Top five Liberty Horse. He has recently been gelded and will make a great Youth Performance Horse. We expect him to mature about 31 inches.
