4 Presidents report Our Spectacular Show is quickly approaching! If you are able, try to get your nominations in early to make our job a little easier on the day. Also if you want to book a stable please do this before the show. We are having some of our sponsors setting up stalls on Saturday so have a look and support our sponsors. And remember that our car boot sale is this Saturday 31st August; I have a lot of stall holders coming so it is shaping up to be a good day. If it is a success, I am sure we can make this an annual event on the last weekend of August each year. So come along and get some bargains! If you look on River 949 you will see our community notice for it and we have been getting a bit of air play as well. SHOW TALK Thanks to everyone for supporting our recent Beginners and A Show. Don't forget we have the Western Spectacular on September 14 and 15 at Gatton. Saturday 14th is for Beginners and Sunday 15th will be an A Show with open classes only. It will be a great weekend with a lot of prizes available look forward to seeing you there. Happy Riding Michele We had a great Q-Kids day this August, with 5 kids riding. A big thank you to Anett Kerslake for instructing the day. I am sure everyone walked away with something new to try at home. And Julie-Ann and myself attended a two day AQHA Affiliates Convention in Brisbane on the weekend on behalf of the club. It was a very informative weekend and we learnt heaps and will bring what we learnt into practice at our grounds and shows. Also we networked with many of our Queensland Affiliates and are going to work more closely with each other in the future.
