While every care is taken, Lissava Stud and their staff & associates, will not be held responsible for any accident, injury, illness or disease to horses, people, transportation or otherwise. Appointments to view stallions need to be made for afternoons only. Please ring in advance to arrange time. The stud Farm is open from 7.30am to 7.30pm at night. Please note we offer large discounts to breeders who have 5 mares or more, and to Breeder working groups. We operate a No foal free return basis. If your mare is not in foal, please issue a barren certificate from your vet to obtain free stud return the following season. A minimum of 50% of the advertised stud fee is to be paid on cover and remaining 50% to be paid when mare is scanned in foal at 18 days. If semen is sent out via courier or post, then full payment of stud fee is required in advance and a transport charge will apply. We offer the facility for walk in mares, we will AI your mare on site. Please check in advance if there is semen available from the stallion of your choice. Please remember to have your mares passport with you when booking in a mare as we will need their passport details.
