Cheerie is a smart heifer and took to halter training very quickly. Her dam is 6 yrs old and mothers her calves with ease and has an excellent udder; as a result her calves grow very well. Cheerie is 100% grassfed. She carries red via Glencara. Her 11 yr. old dam is one of our first cows and grows excellent calves thanks to her generous udder and is as easy going as she can be- I have milked her in the field. She s short & stocky with a wide spring of rib and a wide chest floor, good feet and legs, a very nice udder with good teat placement. She has proven to be an excellent first time mother. Cuddles has been exposed to Wieringa s Devin and we hope to get her confirmed pregnant before sale time. Her bull calf, Elmo, has royalty in his pedigree. His great granddam is Wieringa s Paula, a very winning and popular Dexter female. Elmo is heterozygous polled, PHA and Chondro Negative.
