2 1. Warm up available on surface! Rules and Conditions of Entry. 2. Hard hats must be worn in all ridden classes, hats of PAS 015 / VG1 standard must be worn. Riding hats must have a chin strap on them. 3. No galloping on the showground. 4. No horse or pony under the age of 4 years may be ridden on the showground. 5. Hacking / Show Jackets must be worn in all ridden classes. 6. DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON LEADS AND CLEARED UP AFTER. 7. The organisers reserve the right to alter classes, judges or any of the published information. 8. Entries are accepted and admission to the showground is granted on condition that the organisers and persons acting on their behalf accept no liability for any accidents, loss or damage to persons, animals or property howsoever caused. 9. No refunds, except upon receipt of a Veterinary or Doctors Certificate. No refunds will be issued in the event on a class clashing. 10. Whilst every attempt has been made to avoid classes clashing, or in the event being cancelled for any reason, the organisers accept no responsibility and therefore refunds will not be made. 11. THE JUDGES DECISION IS FINAL. Any objections must be made within 30 minutes of the end of the class and must be accompanied by a deposit of 10, which will be refunded if the objection is upheld. 12. No stallions / colts to be handled or ridden in the children s classes. No spurs to be used in children s classes. 13. Any discourteous behaviour to any official will result in dismissal from the showground. 14. We strongly advise that all children 16 yrs and under wear a hard hat whilst showing in hand. 15. Third party public liability insurance is strongly advised for all competitors. 16. Competitors are responsible for adhering to their start times.

TSR Riders Championships TSR Riders & In Hand Showing Finals This show is a qualifier for the 2017 TSR Showing Finals. Qualify and enter ANY of the Finals Central, East Anglia, North West, North East, South East, South, Wales & South West or Scottish. You Do Not have to be a TSR member to qualify or enter a final. The Rider/Handler qualifies and can enter any horse/pony in any number of Finals! TSR Riders Finals 1st & 2nd riders qualify and will receive a qualification card in the ring. TSR In Hand Finals The two highest placed Handlers with a TSR In Hand Card will qualify in any In Hand class. Handlers MUST have their cards signed in the ring by the judge/steward; cards are available FREE from the TSR website. BSPA / EQUIFEST RIDDEN PIEBALD / SKEWBALD (Class 19 & 20) Open ridden Piebald / Skewbald stallion, mare or gelding, 4 years old & over. Riders any age. Riders not to have attained their 10 th birthday before 1 st January in the current year. To be shown in any suitable bridle. The Coloured Horse & Pony Society "This show is affiliated to The Coloured Horse & Pony Society (UK). Affiliation No Both owner and the rider/exhibitor need not be a member of CHAPS (UK) nor must the horse or pony be registered with CHAPS (UK) to compete. However in order to Qualify both Owner and Rider/Exhibitor need to be a current showing member and present their valid Qualifier card IN THE RING for signing by the judge. Members to apply in writing to CHAPS (UK) for appropriate qualifier card. The CHAPS (UK) Championship Show will be held on 31st August-2nd September Shows held on or after the Postal Entry closing date of Championship Show will count as 2018 qualifiers. The following classes are CHAPS (UK) Qualifiers [Show Secretary to insert class numbers]. THE SUNSHINE TOUR The Sunshine Tour is an exciting Unaffiliated Championship Series in the South-East featuring dressage, show jumping and showing. Sunshine Tour Unaffiliated Championships at The All England Showground, Hickstead September There s a wide choice of championship classes to qualify for and fantastic prizes to be won. If you qualify you ll receive a Sunshine Tour qualification card simply record the qualification online. Also qualify for Royal London with us! First, second and third placed horses/ponies not already qualified in eligible classes will qualify for the Champion of Britain Title classes to be held at the Royal London Show in Each qualified horse/pony will receive a qualification card in the ring which will enable the owner to enter the Royal London Show, provided the owner and rider/handler are, or become registered with the International Showing Society within 28 days of the qualifying show. No horse registration is required. Open to SSA Members and Non-Members. Members carrying their current Championship Points Cards are eligible for SSA rosettes to 3rd Adult and 3rd junior places and SSA Championship Points. Southernden Farm offers a rosette to the highest placed Member aged under 14 on 1st January of the current year. Side Saddle International offer a rosette to the Adult Member and Manor Grange Stud Show Centre to the Junior Member, judged to be the best turned out. Juniors must wear Hats to current Safety Standard or above. Open to horses and ponies 4 years old or over: conformation & manners will be taken into consideration; horses/ponies will not be stripped. A Special rosette will be awarded to the highest placed Adult and Junior Members of the SSA carrying their current Championship Points Cards. Competitors must wear a hat to current British Safety Standard or above.

6 SIDE SADDLE CONCOURS d ÉLÉGANCE The Judge must be on the current SSA or any appropriate Judging panel but may be assisted by a Celebrity or Sponsor Where these classes are a main ring attraction Shows may, at their discretion limit entries to Adult competitors only and the rosette provided for the highest placed Junior will not be awarded. EQUITATION CHAMPIONSHIPS ADULT QUALIFYING CLASS Run under SSA rules defined in the current Members Handbook. Open to SSA Adult Members and Non-Members aged 18 or over on 1 st January of the current year. Members carrying their current Championship Points Cards are eligible for SSA rosettes to 3rd place and SSA Championship Points. Side Saddle International offer a rosette to the Adult Member, judged to be the best turned out. Competitors must wear a hat to current Safety Standard or above. The sole criterion for this class is the elegance of the picture presented by horse and rider. Attention may be paid to the rider s personal appearance but detailed inspection of rider or tack is not required. Fancy dress or period costume is not permitted. Competitors are required to walk, trot and canter. No individual show is required, but the Judge may ask groups of 3 or 4 riders to give short displays. A Special rosette will be awarded to the highest placed Adult Member and Junior Member of the SSA carrying their current Championship Points Cards. Competitors must wear a hat to current Safety Standard or above. The British Miniature Horse Classes Class These classes are open to all Miniature horses regardless of registration, and owners and handlers do not need to be members of the BMHS. The winners in each of the three Star Seeker classes together with the highest placed unregistered horse in each of the three classes will qualify for the Championship classes at the BMHS Breed Show 2017, provided that the owner and handler of the horse becomes a member of the BMHS within 28 days of the show. To be eligible to compete in the three Open Star Seeker Classes, horses must not have been placed 1 st 5 th at the Horse of the Year Show or 1st 2 nd at the Royal International Horse Show. The winners of the three sections for un-registered horses at the Breed Show, together with the overall Champion at the Breed Show will, subject to vetting, be eligible for the BMHS Stud Book and will qualify for the RIHS 2018 in its appropriate class. Horses will not be measured on the day but will be measured when attending the Championship classes at the BMHS Breed show.
