Please DON T TURN A BLIND EYE... IF YOU SEE A HORSE OR PONY IN DISTRESS OR ARE CONCERNED ABOUT ITS WELLBEING, PLEASE CON- TACT US ON IF THE OFFICE IS UNMANNED FOR ANY REASON, EMERGENCY CONTACT NUMBERS WILL BE PROVIDED ON OUR ANSWER PHONE. EHPPS receives calls day after day reporting cases that require investigation and/or action by us. We are proud of the fact that our response rate to emergencies and complaints is second to none. When a welfare concern is brought to our attention, it is dealt with IMMEDIATELY. We will do whatever it takes to rescue a horse from cruelty or abuse; we will put in as much time and effort as necessary to rehabilitate and care for these animals 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year but we can t do it without adequate and constant funding. It costs in excess of 14,000 per month to keep the Sanctuary operating. We then have to pay for the vital veterinary care that almost every new intake requires. The Society spends thousands of pounds every year on veterinary care, medications, remedial farriery, etc. Please help us to continue with our much needed work.
