All riders must be correctly attired and mounted for presentations no horse - no prize 6. Dress and Tack requirements are set out in the attached AHAA Show Guidelines. 7. All Stallions on the grounds must comply with National Stallion Guidelines green discs on truck/float and horses must be worn at all times while on show grounds. 8. Non Members can only enter if they have a Baroque Breed horse. All Andalusian Horses entered must be owned or leased (registered with the AHAA) by Financial Members. Riders &/or Handlers do not have to be Financial Members of the AHAA; but if they are not an EA Member they must pay a $20 fee & become a Day Member of the AHAA. 7 THE SPANISH HALTER WORKOUT Enter the ring and walk on the left rein until all entrants have arrived. The Judge will signal when you are to line up. When invited by the Judge, leave the class line up, walk your horse to 'X' and present to the Judge. Proceed to walk your horse to 'A' and then onward to 'B'. At 'B' lunge your horse a maximum of 3 circles - on the 3 rd circle, or before, (when your horse is balanced) commence trotting the straight line to 'B', continue to trot through to 'C' and 'Z'. At 'Z' (the Judge position), halt (the halt transition can be through walk). Control of your horse and the safety of the Judge is important. Once finished, return to your place in the line up, behind the other contestants. It is critical during the workout that you allow your horse to show his/her gait freely, without the handler interfering (e.g. restricting or turning the head of the horse) thus preventing the horse from showing it's true movement. Traditionally, the led rope is 3-6m long, however you may choose to exhibit your horse on a short led.
