4 GWC Rules/ Terms of Entry (You must take part in three tests before your points are awarded to your league placing) GWC Unaffiliated Junior Dressage League Open to juniors, combination can take part in any of the tests from Introductory Level. Points will be accrued for the tests ridden by the combination. A junior is an entrant aged 16 or under in the current year. Juniors are not judged with seniors, and will be awarded separate placings. GWC Unaffiliated Introductory Senior Dressage League Open to any combination not to have been placed 1 st or 2nd at preliminary level or above. Pony/Horse must have NO BD or BE points. Points will be accrued for the introductory tests ridden by the combination. GWC Unaffiliated Prelim Senior Dressage League Open to seniors, combination to only take part in this league at Preliminary Level. Points will be accrued for the Preliminary tests ridden by the combination. GWC Unaffiliated Novice + Senior Dressage League Open to seniors, combination to only take part in this league from Novice, Elementary, Medium or Ad Medium Level. Points will be accrued for the tests ridden by the combination. GWC Unaffiliated Veteran Dressage League Open to seniors, combination can take part in any of the tests from Introductory Level. Combination can only take part in this league. You may take part in any of the dressage tests, but you will only receive the points for the tests that you have ridden within your chosen league after you have ridden three tests. You do not have to join any of the GWC leagues to take part in our dressage days. Lead rein is allowed in our Walk Trot Tests. Rosettes Awarded 1 st to 6 th Place in all Dressage Tests.

5 Our Spring/Summer League runs from May October Horse & Pony Events Qualifiers: The 15+ dressage qualifiers cover: Intro tests, Preliminary, Novice and Elementary levels. Competitors are to wear a coloured armband if they are competing an older equine, and want to be a contender for the 15+ qualifier. Each will be given a qualification card for the championship show. 15+ Horse & Pony Events Hickstead Qualifiers: To qualify for the 15+ Dressage Championship at the Hickstead Unaffiliated Dressage Championship competitors must have won 15 pts or more at each level for a place. Points will be awarded to the 1 st 10 places to competitors with equines aged 15years & over in Tests. 10 pts to 1 st place, 9pts to 2 nd place on so on to 10 th place. Further information concerning the rules and what this exciting organisation can offer for the older equine please contact 15+ Horse & Pony Events Horse15plus@aol.com THE SENIOR DRESSAGE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES QUALIFICATION RULES: The 6 highest placed competitors with a horse/pony 15 years of age and over with a final test score of 50% and above within the class will qualify for the Senior Dressage National Finals. UK RIDERS CHALLENGE RULES: The UK Riders Challenge is a national competition series aimed at unaffiliated combinations of horse and rider. It gives every day riders the chance to compete for national glory in dressage. The aim is simple to help you enjoy your horse more! The Challenge has a three-tier competition structure. Successful partnerships go on to compete in Regional Finals. The challenge culminates in the National Finals. First 6 with over 58% qualify for regional final (send your qualifying slip to UK Riders) All entries close on the Tuesday prior to each competition - Call for your times on Wednesday prior to competition between 7.00 pm and 8.00pm on or Or go onto our Dressage Times Page on our website and collect your own times and number; please or text us to say that you have collected your times. Any competitor failing to call for times during the designated period will be deemed to have withdrawn and forfeit their entry fee. Unfortunately, there is no refund if you withdraw after the closing date. Do not leave muck on the car park. All classes run in accordance with current BD rules (see for current rules) Tests will be ridden on a 20m x 40m all weather arena. Warm up areas on grass. Bridle numbers must be worn and will not be supplied by the venue. Occasionally we have a caller present but can you please ensure that you bring a friend/family member to call your test.
