First Aid is 3 Per Rider For Paramedic Services Sunshine Tour Championships The All England Showground, Hickstead Thursday 13 th Sunday 16 th September 2018 The Sunshine Tour National Championship is held on the hallowed turf of The All England Showground at Hickstead from Thursday 13 th Sunday 16 th September 2018 for unaffiliated and amateur competitors of all ages and abilities. The Championships features: Dressage from Intro to Elementary; Show Jumping from 30cm to 1.05m; Showing for lead rein, first ridden, in-hand, ridden, working hunter, veterans, plus many more; Eventers Challenge from 60cm through to 1m. To qualify: 1 st to 4 th placed in dressage, show jumping & showing and 1 st to 6 th in eventers challenges. Entries close 13 th August General Show Rules: Stallions in the interest of safety, stallions may only be ridden / driven / handled by persons over the age of 14years with the exception of small breeds Mountain & Moorland stallions, where the rider / handler must have attained their 12 th birthday by the 1 st January in the current year. Stallions are not permitted in any young handler, equitation, junior ridden M&M, lead rein or first ridden classes. Drivers of stallions must have an active, responsible adult with them at all times. Bits & Bridles In all classes, unless otherwise stated, any suitable bit is acceptable. Judging of classes no animal or rider may leave the ring without permission of the judge and ring steward. Once the class has commenced there shall be no change of rider, except in a championship when a rider finds that they have more than on exhibit to compete. The substitute rider must be eligible for the class and the ring steward informed of the change of rider. Hats correctly secured British Standard skull caps/riding hats nos. PAS015, EN1384, (USA), ASTMF1163 that meet current safety standards MUST be worn by all riders. Ear rings / Piercing in the interest of safety, no ear rings, piercing or visible jewellery should be worn whilst mounted. Spurs / Dress Spurs are not permitted in any pony class, Show canes are not to exceed 75cms. Hunting crops are permitted. Handles on saddles are permitted in lead rein classes. Contagious Disease all exhibitors are asked to be aware of animals on the showground and ensure that all exhibits are fit and well. If any exhibitor has reason to believe that an animal is unfit, please report this to the show office. Dogs Must be kept on leads at all times and exhibitors Must clean up after their dog. No person shall ill treat animals at any time, whether by misuse /excessive use of the whip, bit or any item of saddlery or in any other way whatsoever! No behaviour of an offensive, abusive or unpleasant manner to any Codham Park official will be tolerated. Any act of discourtesy to any judge, steward of any show official on the part of the competitor groom, rider, or agent of an animal, will, at the discretion of such official disqualify that animal from being judged, in which case entry fees, prizes and charges will be forfeited. Exhibitors are reminded of their responsibility for the actions of others within their party. Entry fees are not refundable unless a veterinary / doctors certificate is produced. No lunging in the arenas at any time, cars and lorries are parked at owners own risk. All rubbish and litter to be removed from site or placed in bins provided, please do not muck out your lorry in the lorry park.

Mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 128cms. Riders not to have attained their 9 th birthday before 1st January in the current year. To be led by an attendant and shown in a Snaffle Bridle, the lead rein to be attached to the noseband only. CLASS 2: EQUI-CHIP / EQUIFEST MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND FIRST RIDDEN Open to Mountain & Moorland ponies, registered with their respective Pure Bred Societies of Dartmoor, Exmoor, New Forest, Shetland, and Welsh A or B. Mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 128cms. Riders not to have attained their 12 th birthday before 1st January in the current year. To be shown in any suitable bridle. CLASS 3: EQUIFEST OPEN RIDDEN MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND Open to Mountain & Moorland ponies registered with their respective Pure Bred Societies of Connemara, Dales, Dartmoor, Exmoor, Fell, Highland, New Forest, Shetland, Welsh A, B, C and D. Stallion, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over. Rider any age. This class may be divided as appropriate. CLASS 4: Equifest qualifier only applicable to the below in this class JOHN PATON / JUNIOR RIDDEN MOUNTAIN AND MOORLAND Mares and geldings, 4 years old & over, registered in the respective pure bred Stud Books of Connemara, Dales, Dartmoor, Exmoor, Fell, Highland, New Forest, Shetland and Welsh Section A,B,C & D. Riders of Small Breeds not to have attained their 14 th birthday before 1 st January in the current year. Riders of Large Breeds not to have attained their 18 th birthday before 1 st January in the current year. CLASS 5: RUBY MARITIME SERVICES / EQUIFEST RIDDEN SHOW PONIES Open Show Pony, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 148cms. Riders not to have attained their 17 th birthday before the 1st January in the current year. Show Pony, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 128cms. CLASS 6: KBIS / EQUIFEST RIDDEN SHOW HUNTER PONIES Show Hunter Pony, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 153cms. Riders not to have attained their 20 th birthday before the 1st January in the current year. Mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 122cms. Riders not to have attained their 12th birthday before 1st January in the current year. Mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, exceeding 122cms but not exceeding 133cms. Riders not to have attained their 20th birthday before 1st January in the current year CLASS 9: NUPAFEED / EQUIFEST RIDDEN COBS Open Ridden Cob, mare or gelding, 4 years old & over, exceeding 148cms but not exceeding 155cms. Riders any age. Open Lightweight Ridden Cob, mare or gelding, exceeding 148cms but not exceeding 155cms. Open Heavyweight Ridden Cob, mare or gelding, exceeding 148cms but not exceeding 155cms. HAYGAIN / EQUIFEST MAXI COBS Open Maxi Cobs, mare or gelding 4 years old and over, exceeding 155cms to be judged as Cobs. Riders any age.

5 CLASS 10: BSPA / EQUIFEST RIDDEN PIEBALD / SKEWBALD Open ridden Piebald / Skewbald stallion, mare or gelding, 4 years old & over. Riders any age. The first three places will also qualify for the BSPA Championship. Subject to their show rules & conditions. Classes may be divided according to entries. CLASS 13: EQUIFEST RIDDEN PART BREDS Stallion, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over. Exhibits in this section must be registered in the Part Bred section of their respective Breed Society. Registration numbers must be stated on the entry form. Horses and ponies will not be ridden at the final. Riders any age. Classes may be divided as appropriate. CLASS 37: SPILLERS / EQUIFEST MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND IN HAND Open to In Hand Mountain & Moorland ponies registered with their respective Pure Bred Societies of Connemara, Dales, Dartmoor, Exmoor, Fell, Highland, New Forest, Shetland, Welsh A, B, C and D. Stallion, mare, colt, filly or gelding, any age. This class may be divided as appropriate. CLASS 20: BLACK COUNTRY SADDLES / EQUIFEST RIDDEN HUNTERS Open Ridden Hunter, mare or gelding, 4 years old & over, exceeding 153cms. Riders any age. Lightweight Hunter, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, capable of carrying up to 12.7 stone. Middleweight Hunter, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, capable of carrying 12.7 stone but not 14 stone. Heavyweight Hunter, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over capable of carrying over 14 stone. CLASS 21: EQUIFEST INTERMEDIATE SHOW RIDING TYPE Open Intermediate Show Riding Type, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, exceeding 146cms but not exceeding 158cms. Open Intermediate Show Riding Type, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, exceeding 146cms but not exceeding 153cms. Open Intermediate Show Riding Type, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, exceeding 153cms but not exceeding 158cms. EQUIFEST INTERMEDIATE SHOW HUNTER TYPE Open Intermediate Show Hunter Type, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, exceeding 148cms but not exceeding 158cms. CLASS 34: BSPA / EQUIFEST IN HAND PIEBALD / SKEWBALD Open in Hand Piebald / Skewbald stallion, mare, colt, filly or gelding, any age.
